>Bankers & EU predict collapse of Tory party Fucking please, I want Uncle Jeremy to start a civil war
Caleb Gonzalez
I have been constantly and vociferously badgered on Twitter and by email by people, presumably from this forum, who express the desire that I visit you and grant you an audience.
After reading this long, meandering page, seemingly devoid of any real or rigorous discussion of British politics I utterly fail to imagine how I, even were I so inclined, would engage in any meaningful manner. Though I can't foresee any circumstance in which I would want to engage with the contemptible ghouls that seemingly inhabit this vile corner of the internet, not with the sickening abundance of racial bigotry and ethnic nationalism espoused here.
I would also ask that you stop using me as a digital effigy or masthead for your inadequacy of intellect and inability to form coherent, salient arguments. Though I can't blame you entirely, Britain's education system has clearly failed a great many of you and left you derelict of classical logic or rhetoric.
I am not secretly harbouring racist or nationalist views, I am not downplaying my analysis on subjects of race, I am not your political bedfellow.
John Reed
That's it.
Corbyn will be Prime Minister soon. May is deliberately JUST'ing the entire government. WHY announce such a thing if you know the DUP won't have it?
>relying on DUP votes when you fuck them over
Is May fucking autistic? Why the FUCK would she try regulatory divergence if she KNOWS it won't happen?
I'm trying to find that thread but the site doesn't seem to have a search function. Am I being a brainlet?

I am on Universal Credit. Chances are you will have to sign up to that, they're getting rid of the dole. You have to go every week to the Job Centre and talk with your job-seeking coach who might get you to apply to jobs you don't want or put sanctions on you, but you get NEETbux monthly. Anyone got any tips to exploit the system?
The only thing I thought of was turning up to interviews looking scruffy as fuck and in jeans maybe.

You seem to be confusing Thatcher with Blair/Brown/Cameron/May.
Just act autistic at interviews, the work coach will most likely scold you for turning up looking like a tramp and will probably think your not even trying.
Jack Diaz
Just apply for jobs with a lot of competition that you're not entirely qualified for. If you get an interview then do this

>what is the Fixed Term Parliament Act No election will happen. You really think Conservatives will go along with a No Confidence agreement (which needs 2/3rds of the House to Pass), just to lose to Labour?
No. A leadership contest is all that can be expected. If the DUP say they won't work with the Conservatives unless the leader is committed to no border between the UK and Northern Ireland, then it will be Davis or Mogg.
Jackson Garcia
Deindustrialisation led to the destruction of the 'Patriotic British working class' as a meaningful political force. This is what allowed Blairism to be born. Furthermore, the seeds of mass immigration were planted by her neoliberal economic policies. Neoliberalism ultimately demands immigration to function, it's a ponzi scheme. Thatcher and Major are the worst Conservative prime ministers the UK has ever had.
Wyatt Howard
>Thatcher

Any kind of trade deal agreed within 18 months is going to be nothing short of forcing the UK to unconditionally adopt all EU regulations, so this might work.

>Why the FUCK would she try regulatory divergence if she KNOWS it won't happen? Maybe she wanted to call the DUP's bluff. Considering the DUP is led by hardcore Ulstermen who have been calling everyone's bluff for the last 100 years, she made a really stupid mistake.

>How she ever got into power is still a mystery to me It's probably mostly because Gove stabbed Boris in the back. Boris would have beaten out Andrea Leadsom for the second place, and then Boris vs Theresa would have been a brutal slog for 2-3 months. Her inability to campaign or lead would have been exposed instantly.

Border is an EU requirement, not a British requirement.
>Now it is with that very last concession that the PM is taking the political risk of her life, because in that concession she is in effect saying that a trade deal for the whole UK will also be based on a promise of close regulatory alignment between our country and the EU, in perpetuity.
>That permanent regulatory convergence between the UK and EU is her preferred route, because without it her government would collapse: Northern Ireland’s DUP MPs, which are sustaining the Tories in office, have made it crystal clear that they will not accept a separate regulatory set-up for Northern Ireland from that prevailing in the UK as a whole.
>But here is what I assume will be scaring the PM witless (it scares me, just as a bystander). She is signing up for close regulatory alignment between the UK and EU without ever having secured agreement for that from the cabinet.
>And for Johnson, Gove and most of the other more ardent Brexiteers, in and out of the Cabinet, almost the whole point of leaving the EU was for the UK to “take back control” of setting rules and regulations for British businesses.
Camden Wright
So NI gets to stay in the single market which means Scotland and Nicola are going to have a field day. May just gave them a very big excuse.
Jackson Anderson
>Deindustrialisation led to the destruction of the 'Patriotic British working class' as a meaningful political force While this is likely true in part, you seem to ignore the fact that British coal and manufacturing were dead industries long before Thatcher came to power. Coal was a declining industry since the early-60's, and it was cheaper to buy coal abroad not long after that. You can't just subsidise the shit out of an industry and ignore it.
>Furthermore, the seeds of mass immigration were planted by her neoliberal economic policies. Neoliberalism ultimately demands immigration to function That which can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.
Luke Long
Shame he didn't kill her and the mutt spawn.
Adam Smith
Actually no, because he wouldn't have developed a 25 point lead over Jeremy Corbyn, therefore he wouldn't have made the foolish decision to have an early general election and destroy the Tory commons majority. A "Leaver" with a commons majority could hardly be a bigger disaster than our current situation of a backseat-driving Remainer with a minority plus DUP coalition
Jayden Parker
Not just Sturgeon rubbing her hands at this news. This could be the most interesting time in our entire history.

He'd have put his foot in his mouth even more than May, made a complete mess even trying to capitulate to the EU, and he'd be being bashed around the head for that £375M for the NHS bullshit on a daily basis.
Thomas Baker
No, well, this is just my opinion, so who fucking knows what will happen.
But the DUP aren't fond of Europe, they've had a good deal so far. They don't want to be in the single market, and obviously, being Unionists rather dislike their southern friends. Therefore, they'll also want a full withdrawal from the single market. Leaving Ireland, now without the only good politician they've ever had, to try and sort that mess out.
Sturgeon can REE all she wants, I'm Scottish, live in a University town and let me tell you - the tides are noticeably turning against her.
Ayden Miller
One thing I don't understand is why Boris couldn't have just run regardless? Why did it matter if Gove ran too?
>That which can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.
Mate open any liberal economic textbook or read the papers released by any liberal economic think tank and you will find that every single one supports mass immigration. It's easy to trick yourself into thinking the influx of people is a socialist project but examine the rest of the world, the vast majority of countries with high immigration rates have liberal economic policies.
>While this is likely true in part, you seem to ignore the fact that British coal and manufacturing were dead industries long before Thatcher came to power. Coal was a declining industry since the early-60's, and it was cheaper to buy coal abroad not long after that. You can't just subsidise the shit out of an industry and ignore it.
A tired meme. Don't believe everything the """""Conservative""""" party says about this period of history. Coal was a mess but manufacturing did not need to be condemned the way it was.
Dominic Nguyen
I said on here just a couple of days ago that I wouldn't be at all surprised if in the next few years we'd start to see autonomy/independence movements happening in London.
Carter Hill
Gove was senior to Boris at the time. He essentially backed Boris for PM but then decided to run as well - do you see how that's an issue?
Caleb Williams
Cause Boris still wants to be PM, and a damaging failed campaign in 2016 would hurt his chances to taking over from whoever presides over Brexit
Mason Kelly
Northern Ireland must leave the EU on the same terms as the rest of the UK or its your kneecaps May
Austin Adams
