(((Dentists))) say you should pay thousands of dollars to have wisdom teeth removed, but humans have had wisdom teeth for thousands of years, why do we need them removed now?

I have one of mine removed next Monday because it is attacked by tooth decay and root canal procedure is too difficult. They are to hard to reach. Fortunately mine are grown out on the dental arch and mine doctor is dental surgeon with experience.

I got mine removed at 27 by a dental surgeon. Was in massive amounts of pain for 2-3 weeks, got a secondary infection, and got panic attacks for months afterwards. Anyways, have fun!

That's not actually true though. Oral surgeons aren't the same thing as dentists. If your dentist recommends getting your wisdom teeth removed, he's not profiting whatsoever from it because it's someone in an entirely separate profession who does the job.
