your post speaks to once heart. i was in the entry state of depression. i was as far gone as in "if i would die, nobody would miss me". luckily i had people that helped me to get my shit together. i only can share a little advice, i guess you already know of but never the less. my way to get out of this starting "depression" was step by step. i decided that i am a piece of shit. however, i knew i can be better, as i was searching my memories. at 16 years i was very joyfull and succesfull at school and sport. i wanted to get back there. like i said, step by step. after 9 months of slowly crawling out of the abyss, i laughed again for the first time in 1 and a 1/2 years. you may be a piece of shit, but if you find something where you can see yourself in the future than try to get there slowly. you will be thrown back several times, until you hit rock bottom again, but you know you once made it out of there and you can do so again.
