My father and I did a stakeout, got the licence plate numbers of the burglars and reported it to the cops after confronting them, even had video evidence on a dashboard camera, and they basically just told us they would "look into it" and never followed up on it. That house was hit at least two more times before someone moved in. The lesson here is that vigilante justice is all you have in Australia.
