Swiss village is giving you money to come living with them

Seems comfy.

>Albinen is a small Swiss village located at 1,300 meters above sea level in the canton of Valais. Chalets and unique houses composing it mainly.

>But for several years, this village suffers from the exodus of its population. To try to remedy this, a group of young people mobilized to demand an active policy from the local authorities with the aim of repopulating the village.Following this initiative, the municipality has drawn up a regulation providing financial assistance to anyone wishing to settle in the village.

>Specifically, this regulation provides financial assistance of 25,000 Swiss francs (just over 21,000 euros) per adult alone, 50,000 Swiss francs (nearly 43,000 euros) per couple and 10,000 Swiss francs (a little more than 8,500 euros) per child. That's almost 60,000 euros for a family of four.

>To benefit from it, however, it is necessary to fulfill some conditions. The interested parties must be under 45 and commit to reside in the municipality for at least ten years knowing that it can not be a second home ..

>It is also required to invest in a new home for a minimum of 200,000 Swiss francs (just over 171,000 euros).

Prepare for rapefuge

The Swiss do not lose money. The city will make up the financial assistance in taxes throughout the duration of the contract. A Swiss passport would be nice though.

>>It is also required to invest in a new home for a minimum of 200,000 Swiss francs (just over 171,000 euros).
They thoughta that

Well you need to buy a 171.000 euros new home and refugees also want to stay in big cities.

So you have to move to a tiny village in a different country with, most assuredly, no means of creating a sustainable income tied to said village to afford the 171k house and their incentive to do this is an offer of a measly 21k? No wonder anyone with half a brain left these retards to sit alone in their shit village.

I want lots of ficki ficki from the swiss girls and cheeseburgers or no deal

White Euro living in the states. I'd do it. But I don't have 171,000 Euro. SAD

Damn! I have been wanting to move my armory to Switzerland for 20 years! Here I come!

I'd do it if I had they money. That's the kind of place in my dreams. A couple of years and a lot of hard work, I could scrounge it together, but by then it could be too late.
That's life.

to anyone thats swiss

I wonder if you could just take the 21k and a mortgage then fuck back off to America before the EU debt collector comes a-knockin.

60 000e for a family of 4 is not that bad. But I agree the income problem is a big problem. Switzerland is a tiny place tho, there's surely a big city like 30min/1hr away

I'd do it if I could speak Swiss, plus we'd be allowed funz

Swiss are called mountain jews for a reason
good reason

if i had 170k euros, i'd move there and be the worse neighbor they could imagine just to spite them

You could still contract a 150000e loan bank there after finding a job first of course

Thats the real downside to Switzerland, and Europe in general.
You guys live too close together. The population density bugs me.
I want to live on enough land to the point I never even see my neighbors (unless I want to)

I'll take the American west, better views and costs less.

It would work if you have a source of income at home. Working via the internet maybe, or running a small business.

Looks comfy

I hate how you got my hopes up. I really, really fucking hate you. Look here, retard:
Also...
Don't listen to this idiot. Getting a loan is basically suicide.

the only problem is everything is flammable

Nah it's not that bad mate you can easily do this here also. Believe me there's a lot of large empty wild country as basically everyone live in cities. Pic for exemple, large portions with no habitants at all or max 0 to 29 per Km2

a job in bumfuck nowhere that has to bribe people to move in

My wife is a financial analyst who works from home

I do mineral exploration.

seems comfy as fuck to me

Sorry but the west US takes the cake with that one. And for the same money you could afford much more land.
We have way less moisture and annual rainfall than you guys do though. Wildfires are a big problem here.
Northern Idaho/West Montana are as "swiss/french-like" as we get.
Much more rain and lakes up there.

Working at home, via internet, run a small business, become a specialized farmer, drive 40min to work to the city, young people want the village to be repopulate they would gladly help you in contacts to find you a job in a near city or to create a small business. It's not easy but clearly possible

>We'll give you 20,000 euros if you come live in our village, but you have to spend 170,000 on a house first

Brilliant

Why would people leave that? Looks comfy af.

Kek, I read this with an Italian accent in my mind, and it just sounded so fucking funny

No, the real downside is that europe will be neobolshevik totalitarian shithole filled with murdering 3rd world trash and all kinds of homopedo degenerates in 10 years.

And you are right, one might as well shell 500k usd and go to some cheap us state with decent gun laws and actual freedom of speech so you wont end in jail for "hatespeech" against "refugees."

LOL!

DIGITS
CHECK EM

No work.

Ain't nobody tryna drop 200k in bumfuck Swiss nowhere for a meagre stipend of 25-60k. If you can afford that you can afford to live somewhere better. Like Kansas.

Please don't tell me you guys are unironically falling for this jewish trick.

There's one and only golden rule in Switzerland: Whatever looks like a deal, isn't one.

quintessentially bergjude

>not being an internet entrepreneur in 2017
wew

1.
>It is also required to invest in a new home for a minimum of 200,000 Swiss francs (just over 171,000 euros).

2. You need to be Swiss

3. Living in a remote valley is shit.

Good luck getting anything other than a shitty mobile connection out there.

It looks like a rather cute village, and Switzerland is definitely a country I have considered moving to if for whatever reason the US became unlivable for me. That all said, I'm pursuing a PhD right now, and I want to get into academia. The closest university to Albinen appears to be a satellite campus of a University of Applied Sciences, with just shy of 2200 students. I'm not even sure if they'd have a computer science program to teach at.

It's a village in the middle of bumfuck, nowhere that wants to drag you into staying there for 10 years, and also wants to obligate you into purchasing a house. It doesn't even look like a deal.

Only niggers would be dumb enough to fall for this.
This village is in for a surprise when word gets out in the hood and Escaldes get traded in for the necessary 200k and then we iz Swiss n sheeit

Share some more Swiss wisdom, medkit

>Living in a remote valley is shit.
Literally my retirement plan.
Can you shoot guns on your property in Switzerland?

Fuck no I don't wanna take a step into your third-world shithole.

>Can you shoot guns on your property in Switzerland?
lolno

Of course not man, I'm a Fjelljode myself and I see right through you guys. Too bad rest of the world will not.

Who would stop you?

saint bernard with a barrel of vodka on his neck

That can't be what they're looking for though. What good does it do this village if some fat 50 year old man with a pension takes them up on the offer.
What they should do is give a home to:
1. Any married couple between the ages of 18-25 that is planning on having children.
2. Any married couple between the ages of 25-30 who already have young children.
This would promote family values and nothing makes a village more vibrant than children. People love having them running around and all that holiday shit with kids singing and whatnot.
Or maybe this is more true than I know.

Your angry neighbors' Sturmgewehr 57 from the other side of the valley. Fuck your loud noises.

currently 18 at the moment
have thought about leaving canada for a while
would you recommend me coming over? I already know german. living in the alpine environment is my greatest dream

>Go away dog, now is the time for bullets not getting drunk to feel warm

Fuck off we're full.

too late, we are invading Switzerland.

ditch the fag flag when you speak of proud nations, fag

apparently not since this program exists
ill see you in 5 years when i finish my degree

>That outdoor loo
>He shits in a shed

>implying I don't shoot suppressed
that would be very rude of you

It seems nice on paper but what they're not telling you is that there are no real jobs available in that shitty little village and commuting to the nearest city for your job is a fucking nightmare.

I AM IN! SIGN ME UP, BITCHES!

my nation is the biggest nightmare of your ancestors wink wink

yeah but imagine living a humble life with your swiss girl in a small swiss town and 5 swiss kids.
sounds comfy desu i would just be a farmer or something

ooh wait, am I allowed to have guns and hunt?

pakistan?

there is no papayas or mangos to hunt in Switzerland, sorry island spic

kek

I would move there with my wife but I do not possess the needed wealth.

Costa Rica isn't an island

where do I sign up?
is it ok if I don't speak swiss?
I write software and speak hungarian, german, italian, spanish all really badly.
Probably speak English badly too since I'm american

>speak English badly.
Yes, you speak English poorly. Please refrain from making all Mutts look uneducated. Thank you.

Swiss isn't a language

So they speak German there?

My Austrian-German is good I can tell people to fuck off.

I'm sold

how do you know?
have you even seen it with your own two eyes?
checkmate

I walked from panama -> costa rica and didn't have to swim so I'd say he is right

Different regions will speak either German, French, Italian, or another weird language that I can't remember the name of

Can't argue w that

french side is shit, ill never go back there. German / Italy side ONLY

holy shit, impressive the layers of civilization you're at

That's a beautiful village, seriously, but you also need another 200k euros for the move.

Anyone who plan to relocate somewhere and have 200k euro to spend, can also find other places, so the offer is not quite tempting at all.

If I had the money or the skills I'd want to go.

it kinda is though, most germans can't understand "swiss".

ah see that is just a trick to get you to think it's not an island
you actually walked through an optical illusion, it's a underwater tunnelway made to resemble hiking trails
the costa ricans are very crafty people

Would do this but I don't' speak german, swiss, french or italian.

Do they have decent internet? Do you have to be a swiss citizen?

>Albinen
>But getting the settlement grant isn't as straightforward as packing your bags and showing up in Switzerland. To be eligible, new residents must be under 45 years old, sign up to live in Albinen for a minimum of 10 years, buy or build a property there with a minimum value of CHF200,000 (£150,000), and be a Swiss citizen or have a valid Swiss C permit. Their house there must be a primary residence, rather than a second home.

So pretty much impossible for someone who doesn't' speak German or French.

>Investing 171k+ into real estate in the middle of nowhere, with no liquidity
25k per person isn't nearly enough to make this offer appealing, not to mention the 10 year residency clause, but that can probably be circumvented.

orly? Didn't know. When I was in Switzerland I stopped to ask an old man for directions. Asked him "sprechen sie Englisch." and he suddenly looked really proud and determined and answered just "DEUTSCHE."

Romansch

Swiss German is unintelligible to native Germans FYI
