Were you an idiot and shorted BTC? It's okay because your money's all gone.
Were you an idiot and shorted BTC? It's okay because your money's all gone
i just bought at 14k

Should one buy btc when cme functions comes online?
shorted at 12.8k thinking it wouldnt go higher, will get liquidated at 15.3k
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
>Were you an idiot and shorted BTC? It's okay because your money's all gone.
Is there someway to purchase option contracts on bitcoin?
No. I'm not stupid. I know BTC is the only real currency, and everything else can simply be printed into worthlessness
smart
>crypto currency
>No. I'm not stupid. I know BTC is the only real currency, and everything else can simply be printed into worthlessness
You're fucking retarded. It is normies like you that are that are going to give cryptocurrencies a bad rep when the bubble pops eventually. BTC is the worst and most primitive cryptocurrency out there atm. People are only buying it because it is the "first cryptocurrency" FUCK YOU NORMIE.
>shorting the bull run of the century
Hell no
I'd rather long and watch the fed and all their allies crumble
bitmex
I need more /biz/ butthurt, it's amazing
Yes lad, when you realise this recent BitCoin pumpathon has a lot of people borrowing on credit to not miss out, when it tanks the mess is going to be brutal.
>limit how much you can withdrawal
>doesn't limit how much you can buy
Enjoy losing everything
/biz/ memes have truly surpassed Sup Forums since the election ended
so you're the same leaf from last week then?
Average nobody, didn't buy at:

100.000$ (at this point he gets curious)
By the time he sets up his accoubnt and gets verified (will take weeks/months when the horde joins around 100k$), BTC will be 150.000$.
At 150.000$ he hesitates as he thinks it will crash any moment and he missed the boat as many of his loser friends got in at 90k-120k already.
Price is now 200.000$ per coin, he says fuck it and buys. Next day, correction back to 140.000k. When he wakes up and sees his 0.00012124 BTC drop 30% he panic sells before it crashes to 0.
Next day its back at 160k and within the week new ATH at 220k. At this point only suicide is left.
Don't be the average loser described above.
It's easier to convince the average joe NOT to buy BTC than to buy it.
...
no, i just thought BTC topped around 13k, apparently I was wrong... the mempool is getting more and more unconfirmed transactions (which caused the last correction from 7.8k to 5.5k) plus the fact that BTC havent corrected since 8k. i'm just getting JUSTed heavily right now my dude.
what does it mean to "short" something? Never understood this concept.
you wager money that the price will go down in the near future
also, as i understand, when it comes to stocks, when you want to sell, your broker has to find someone to buy it, right? Or do you just sell it right back to the company?
BTC is different in that if you want to sell, you're just able to sell it without question or something, no?
Is Litecoin worth buying? Went up 44.00 since last month.
Yes on an exchange you can sell or trade it at anytime you please
Just wait for this bubble to pop. The money is not in the exchanges. They cannot pay out everyone what they say value is. Sure it's free money now, I'm riding it. But when whales are ready to exit, they will realize this money doesn't exist.
>look, it's daily bitcoin shilling again
the money DOES exist though.
for anyone to have bought the money from within an exchange they must have transferred it in at some ppoint
>that behelit
FOURTEEN K
HOOOLLLLLLLLLLLY SSHIIIIIIIIIT
It was 12k yesterday.
AND DIFFICULTY IS STILL DROPPING.
I'M MAKING DISGUSTING AMOUNTS OF MONEY AND I DON'T KNOW HOW
It's never going to burst, I knew I should've invested in this shit when I could
>bubble to pop
You mean your kike fiat money when everyone with more than 2 brain cells goes over to crypto? Good goyim!
im curious. what exchange is reliable and allows for short options?
>buy high sell the dip the post
you best give biz some juicy wojaks
is bitmex reliable? Ive heard its sketchy
Enjoy your Dogecoins...
There probably exists "better" Fiat money than US dollars too, but it doesn't matter as everyone internationally will use US dollars...
when it comes to derivatives, I don't think you can have better... considering that kraken always shits the bed and polo you can only margin trade up to 2.5x leverage (not sure about that one).
The money you deposited exists, minus whatever they spent.
The amount of money they say bitcoin is worth does not exist. Which is 244 billion dollars scattered among a bunch of exchanges.
When bitcoin ends up flatlining or ends its run, people will dump out. When they withdraw there is not enough for
people's initial money + gains + fees + bitcoin transaction fees.
>DIFFICULTY IS STILL DROPPING
?
no
Fiat money is an adopted scam, fed reserve prints dollars feeds into economy for growth. Greed caused this.
Bitcoin is given value by the exchange and instead of a federal reserve, you have an anonymous person working on the virgin islands pumping tether into the market cap of bitcoin. So instead of us govt pumping dollars you have a company that was denied bank wire transactions in the virgin islands pumping value of bitcoin.
I bought at 9 and put in a few hundred, saving till 27k or 36k to sell unless futures predict higher is possible
I think it was from the last sidecoin split thing that happened a little while back - a bunch of hashing power went to the other one because I presume it was slightly more profitable, or they went there for ideological reasons.
cryptocurrency is going to replace your manipulated fiat currency, nocoin faggot
I'm Christian and not into gambling.
It's a sin.
The Jews play dreidel. The Catholics run bingo every week. There is nothing in the Bible banning it. What you are describing is Protestant baloney.
im saying they are both manipulated, but bitcoin is worse. pumped by tether
You sell to another buyer, sometimes a company will purchase shares but mostly shares are created to help a company finance growth.
Man I'm glad I didn't take out a loan to invest in this. That's the kind of thing I would have done not too long ago, thankfully I've learned not too fuck around with loans. Plus my mom has like a million bucks just lying around and she asked me to invest some of it for her so I'm just doing that and I get to keep some of the profit.
>mfw I panic sold when bitcoin peaked at 8k then dropped to 7k, then regretted it and bought back in the next day
Thank god I didn't stay cashed out. I would of missed out on doubling my money
>buying high
Literally retarded.
If you didn't buy BTC when they were
can someone help a poor user to start investing in btc?
1PxC344Mi21h8uvAvJX2trxrqVuiAJeDP5
I'd settle for 0.0001 btc. I just want something in there.
the normies are onboard of btc now
exciting times
POSW Coin is waking up again
Well you can still profit off it, but following BTC closely is pointless now. Just invest a little bit into it every day/week and spend all your time researching startups so you can get in on the ground level of the next big coin. BTC will be archaic at some point.
Yeah I'm definitely thinking of buying, but I need some advice from any experienced BTCers. I was looking online for good firms that I can use for investment in BTC, I'm having trouble finding a good one - especially for Canada. I've heard about Etoro, but their rates for withdrawal are demoralizing and not worth it. I've seen Bitcoin go up from 13k to 18k CAD in 3 days, and I'm apprehensive that this might be a bubble, but there's no risk in investing 500-1k for me.
Anybody recommend good Canadian sites, or at least NA?
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
classic /biz/
>shorted BTC?
wtf, that is not even possible. who are you even trying to troll, what is the point of this?
Can someone tell this brainlet how the bitcoin meme is any different to the dot-com meme?
I'm actually really fucking upset.
I thought that the normies weren't supposed to find out about BTC until it was 6 figures per coin and all transactions were denominated in mBTC or Satoshis.
This is really bad - if the normie bubble is happening now at 15k then that really puts a lot of pressure on the price and makes me wonder if 1M dollar BTC is actually possible or not. If we get there it's going to be completely through meme magic.
So if the only way to get money out of this is to sell to other buyers what are you going to do when everyone wants to jump ship?
I bought in with 12 coins and have been selling them. Sold my last 2.3 last Saturday for $16000 leaf bucks a pop.
What is the best way to mine bitcoins at work? I can deploy a miner to 20k machines over a distributed network? Are there any miners that work in the background and aren't displayed in the taskbard/dock?
how many cents is that in american?
verifiable existence.
More-so smart-contracts, where you can have trustless ownership and code administration of any property or logic that can be digitally verified.
Such as, domain names, neopet-tier cats, andcurrency in games. Logically, in the scope of the ledger those same contracts can enforce things in their scope trustlessly, like voting.
Bitcoin is just a balance ledger, blockchains have greater uses.
No, I'm holding out no matter what happens, I'll make a decision in 5 years time.
This makes my brain hurt.
Anyone buying Litecoin?
shoulf make it to $100000 easy
>$16,000
>user, what does the calculator say about his penny level?
It's...OVER 9000!!!!
What??? C'mon man I'm not retarded 100k ok

remember all those stupid 'no-coiner' threads a couple of weeks ago?
and how they got all fucking pant shitted when we told them to fuck off with their memecoins?
who is laughing now, shitcoiners lmao. they thought they could flood us and entice / troll some fucking poor bastards into dumping their life savings only to see the coins crash not long after
bwahahahahahaha
No. Look at gdax whenever there's a pump. It's almost always a massive purchase each time. As soon as the whales can they'll short the market then sell their holdings.
It's always possible that it would still go up. But I'm betting on the safe side.
Ok so when people who short stocks (assuming they wager a large sum of money), are they like, "Hey, I'll bet 1 million dollars the price of KEK.PK will be falling soon..." so existing shareholders of KEK.PK go, "whoa: this guy must know something if he's willing to bet that much money on the price dropping. I'm gonna sell all of mine now!" thus successfully shorting the price?
Ok thank you guys very much.
>No replies.
Ahh fuck it, typical Sup Forums pretend to have knowledge about something, but when actually asked about said knowledge - no replies.
Stay poor faggot
havent seen your post, i'd say your only option as a canadian is to register on quadrigacx. it sucks but it's the only way to invest a good amount on the spot. you'll need to get equifax/ID verified before you can do anything though... and to make a bankwire, you need at least 100k CAD.
I shorted all my BTC into ETH a few hours ago.
Still short 122 btc. Crash imminent any second now, ima be filthy rich.
NEO up 10% in the last 20 minutes, praise our chink overlord
To clear things up it was a switch from the major mining powers in china which pretty much account for most of the hash power over to bitcoin cash. Was also a power move by bitcoin cash to pump and dump and drop the bitcoin price. There was a lot of speculation that people were planning to do this because bcash was easier to mine than btc for a short while. I made over 250k buying some bcash and reselling from 650 to 2000 for each. Then I just bought all bitcoin with that. Very pleased with the price right now. I will likely sell out at the end of the year and hopefully see another dip back down to 10k in the next few months and rebuy.
Don't ask questions and expect to be spoon fed. That's what average normies do, by the time they get a reply price is 25k, by the time they set up their account price is 50k.
High IQ dont hang around to be spoon fed, they act upon it. This is a universal law and the reason the middle or lower classes are low IQ, low knowledge, high impulsive.
The problem here is that you thought a lot of things without knowing much of anything. There isn't a BTC topping point first of all... Where you got such a stupid idea is beyond me. Burn those sources as they are retarded. Also the last correction was a hard forced correction and ploy by chinese miners and bitcoin cash in an attempt to pump and dump. The price drop had nothing to do with uncomfirmed transactions and more to do with some power moves trying to manipulate currencies. At a later point the transactions were spammed, but that was after the price was tanked for very specific reasons. Also stop thinking that correction prices are necessary and always going to happen. Corrections are not actually corrections to begin with. The price will correct only when there are major happenings that directly effect the chinese investors in cyrpto. I think you spend too much time on reddit learning about btc.
>200.000$ per coin
I don't think we'll ever see this.
>Mt Gox customers on suicide watch!!
Someone will notice when you start popping circuit breakers and the power bill skyrockets. Also at this point ASIC miners are so much faster than cpus and gpus that I'm not sure that even that many machines will make a reasonable return enough to risk your job.
we_need_more_idiots_in_our_ponzi_scheme.thread
>lies goy, lies
>bitcoins? straight to the moon, goy, it will never collapse
Hey, who is doing the bulk of transactions? One large cartel or is it wide spread small transactions that are pushing the prices up?
I wouldn't bother investing into firms if you want to get into bitcoin or cyrpto in general. 500-1k isn't much and you can make much more doing it yourself without paying out fees etc to 3rd and 4th parties. IMO wait for the year to end and look for dips happening in mid Jan to Feb. Buy then. Every single year so far has followed the same pattern and I see no reason to see it change. Also the idea that bitcoin is in a bubble is bullshit. If there ever was a bubble it popped years ago when the price went upwards of 1500 and dropped down to 300. The nature of cyrpto is just highly volatile. BTC isn't nor will it ever be in a bubble. That is a layman's ignorant myth.
If you really want to make money I suggest you buy on the next dip of 1-2k and also portion out about a 1/3 of your investment into alt coins and trade them out for bitcoin after their initial value had doubled or trippled. I suspect bitcoin may hit 20k or higher by the end of the year which is fantastic, but the patterns are consistent that there will be another dip after the holidays. Buy then.
Somebody explain this bitcoin meme to me plz
>He bought an imaginary coin for 14,000 dollars.
hehe
its a token that you can get by running a program on your computer and it gets harder and harder to get the tokens so the only way for it to go down in price is from a lack of interest in people buying it.
