Kaczinsky, a prophet?

>15. Leftists tend to hate anything that has an image of being strong, good and successful. The hate America, the hate Western Civilization, they hate white males, they hate rationality. The reasons that leftists give for hating the West, etc. clearly do not correspond with their real motives. They say they hate the West because it is warlike, imperialistic, sexist, ethnocentric and so forth, but where these same faults appear in socialist countries or in primitive cultures, the leftist finds excuses for them, or at best he grudgingly admits that they exist; whereas they enthusiastically point out (and often greatly exaggerate) these faults where they appear in Western Civilization. Thus it is clear that these faults are not the leftist's real motive for hating America and the West, they hate America and the West because they are strong and successful!

True, (((they))) do.

autist that killed alot of people, meh.

...

The original /ourguy/

...

Your average inner city gangbanger killed a lot more people than Kaczynski. And he was right about 95% of the things in his manifesto.

Based excerpt, but i cant make a judgement until i read it all.

A retard with Sup Forums surface level understanding of the world.
So, /ourguy/

It's based and accurate, you wont be disappointed. If you were to give it to someone who had never read it and didn't include the author's name or background, most reasonably intelligent readers (IQ100+) on both ends of the political spectrum would deem it praiseworthy.

Is Kaczinsky the original red piller?

It really is well worth reading, he was right about everything (other than the "sending bombs to academics is a rational way to get this published / read" part.)

editions-hache.com/essais/pdf/kaczynski2.pdf

...

He won though. His aim was to get his work published

Yes he was. That's why the niggers in the CIA MKUltra'd him in college.

He's literally a genius, IQ of 167 when tested in school. Anons have reported writing to him and getting help with mathematical problems. This probably puts you on (another) government list though, so it's a bit of a drastic measure.

Fuck off CIA

Just finished the book (got it from archive dot org). He is on point- but then goes all Ishmael eco-anarchism. The issues which he is touching on far exceed even what, for example, evola was addressing in modernity's flight at escape velocity from tradition. Straight up the conclusions are technology entirely strips of freedom at a developing pace that humans cannot hold accountable. He blames scientists' curiosity which helped determine his targets.
So if you thought the thesis from the book Ishmael was worthwhile, then maybe you and ted can jive. I personally do not think we should go back to living in tribes of thirty people with whom I share reciprocal responsibility and life death and resource are totally insecure.
Ted has found a problem without solution and chose that hill to die on. It's a shame because he is incredibly insightful on many topics and could have been the next great thinker.

thanks for elaborating, user

He can recognize mathematical patterns quickly. He is like a good CPU. What does this have to do with understanding social phenomena and human psychology and emotions? Nothing. This is a different kind of intelligence that is very far from the autistic processing of the stemfag
>Inb4 humanities durr

They bombed evidence against the Clintons in the building. No way a truck bomb could even do that damage. They were investigating drug running in Arkansas and the CIA shut it down. Nice touch with the blaming a militia man and releasing his brilliant manifesto.

welp, the world is fucked. for all his extremely psychotic efforts, he couldnt stop the creation of Skynet after failing to destroy the neural processor prototype developed at Cyberdyne Systems back in the noughts

if a machine ... can learn the value of human life, maybe we can too.

He also criticised the Right as well, but that never seems to come up on Sup Forums.

the cunt is pretty good, prophetic almost.

Most lefties are self loathing and secretly wan't to be killed off that's why many are in love with communisum.

Not a prophet, just one of the few men at that time who understood the Left

ISAIF is essential Sup Forums reading

I think his central thesis that technology imprisons us is completely wrong. Thanks to technology I have more access to cheap travel and luxury goods than even the richest king of antiquity. I can literally travel to any spot on the planet using technology or use technology to order any strange and esoteric items I can imagine. My purchasing power and freedom are great than ever.

I think what he is really reacting to is the lack of meaning in modern jobs. We've lost the sense of pride and value that were associated with having a meaningful occupation because today's jobs are dull, repetitive and machine-like without any real autonomy. But outside of the workplace we gain an enormous amount of freedom that no one group of people has ever had. It's naive to think that a farmer living in the distant past was free. He could never leave his farm because there was always work to do and it needed constant defending. He was truly trapped. Even the hunter gatherer wasn't the free master of his own destiny that Ted thinks. They were slaves to the patterns of migration of prey animals and to the seasonal bounty or shortage of food. They were struggling just to survive day to day.

Primitivists romanticize the past and don't acknowledge the fear, helplessness and anxiety that go along with living a primitive life style.

Good got, go consume more trinkets.

>how can technology imprison us when I can buy things?

The absolute state of the American soul.

*Goy

Does anyone feel sad their parents won't be able to live to the time where things go back to normal?

The CIA was responsible for the violence as far as I'm concerned. I don't think he would have fallen victim to such an ideological pathway to murder if it weren't for all the acid and experimental shaping they did on him.

He's made some of the most eloquent statements about the limits of economic growth and every ecology student worth two shits has read his work.

Pattern recognition is pattern recognition. It's a general skill.

I think he was literally concerned with consumption of vast quantities of resources at an exponential rate would lead to a planet of abject poverty. He's not wrong, we're doing awful shit to the world, mostly to stay alive, but also out of shame and greed.

That is freedom. As much as anyone will ever get. Ancient man would kill to have the access to medicine, travel, food, shelter, and other necessities we have. We have all of the necessities of life and don't need anything else. We haven't given up anything that primitive man had contrary to the luddite's false claims.

They didn't give him acid. They just did an expert where a group of people made fun of him harshly and laughed at his ideas. It was a shitty thing to do but it was nothing compared to the experiments they did on some other people.

Just like how the FBI used pattern recognition to correctly identify the unabomber. Thanks spellcheck for reminding me it's not "unibomber"

I Never considered this user. Insightful post dude, made me think

yeah, it is an established fact that he was a political genius.

too bad the CIA broke his mind.

Internet technologies use something like 15-25% of the world's electricity (depending on where you draw the line in 'internet technology'), 3G uses 4x the power of wi-fi for the same signal and 4G uses 5x the power of that.

>That is freedom.
The state of Bugmerica...

Yes, but those struggles that the farmer or the hunter gatherer face are exactly the struggles that fulfill men in their lives.

nobody on the planet would have read his work otherwise, SJWs would have blacklisted him and burried it into obscurity, straight down the memory hole.

Now he is being immortalized on a global secret electronic nazi debate forum where the plans for retaking the earth from the communists are being hashed out based partly on his work.

Impressive.

>If our society had no social problems at all, the leftists would have to INVENT problems in order to provide themselves with an excuse for making a fuss

Tumblr genders in a nutshell.

>He doesn't know about g factor

He saw what was happening because he was in academia, which is where the hardcore leftism/marxism stems from. What we're seeing right now with ultra political correctness is just the tsunami of leftism started some 30+ years ago.

Only someone who has never farmed would call it fulfilling. It is back-breaking, soul-crushing work that puts you at the mercy of chance and the weather. You may work all year long and have all of your crops die of blight or an early freeze. And then you are out of options because the farmer is always on the verge of bankruptcy. Suicides are highest among farmers in the undeveloped world. It is a miserable way of life and it's no wonder that men in the Industrial Revolution left their farms as soon as opportunity allowed.

Life in an industrial city has its own pitfalls and miseries but at least you won't starve to death because of an unseasonable frost or a lack of rain.

You just have to interact with leftists to figure this out. Ten years in the anonymous trenches telling leftards to kys has shown me it to be true.
They hate people who have a backbone and do the right thing because their goal is to undermine society and ruin it.

>normie IQ tries to explain genius IQ, the post

and by explain, i mean rationalize why it doesnt matter that you dont have it.

You haven't addressed the fundamental point that drove this man to terrorism. That there is no such thing as a free ride and we need to be more careful about resource consumption. Our lifestyle has changed more dramatically than in the history of our species, there's consequences to that.

The CIA does give people acid, i assumed that was just part of the folklore with this guy. You shouldn't murder people just because you have smart ideas.

So what? The availability of information on the internet allows people to make up for the investment of power. Think of the rippling consequences of the internet. Everything from auto repair to buying ass plugs is more efficient now. There is no such thing as a free ride though. We're going to have to view fossil fuels as a transitional energy into a more sustainable system, or shit's gonna get real.

What the hell is with the Unabomber shilling today? This is the third thread in the last few hours

probably somebody trying to write an edgy paper for finals

autism

>The availability of information on the internet allows people to make up for the investment of power

The "information" on the internet can be spread with 0.01% of the power.

>muh purchasing
>muh buying

America isn't a country any more, it's an economy. Nothing but a market place.

>we'll have to consume an entire aspect of the natural world into total oblivion and eradication before we move on

Jesus Christ...

The fact that you believe in IQ metrics makes you a joke. Most math fags are complete retards that have the workings of a human calculator. You can't take them seriously and converse about non autistic topics

Everybody has to breathe regardless of their will to do so as a condition of being alive. You have to eat. You have to drink. Freedom is a myth but it's silly to draw the line at having a feeling of "safety".

>its impossible to measure things like ability to quickly process logic puzzles

mmm hmm.

We are in a crisis of resource consumption but he never offered any solutions besides destroying the industrial society rather than trying to improve it and make it more efficient in its usage of resources. We've made a lot of improvements in emissions standards, fuel consumption, eliminating ozone destroying chemicals, better disposal of waste materials. We have a long way to go but we are improving. He didn't help by sending bombs.

Unfortunately the Universities are fairly compromised in the way of false positives for people who walk the lines and no research grants for outside thinkers. It's like a immune system adaptation for shit like the nazis that also blocks out a shitload of other crucial ideas. So we troll on this forum because kekistanis like to debate and are fairly feisty. I just wish more of you weren't retarded.

He committed 20+ bombings and only killed 2 people...
He didn't seek to harm and seeked to change the world for the better

we didn't listen...

>I just wish more of you weren't retarded.
Amen to that, user.

>Human society is a logic puzzle that can be solved
>Everything is measurable

No shit he didn't help by sending bombs. That's not al all what I'm suggesting and the idea that analyzing his work from a critical perspective associates you with his murderous actions is not helpful. That's why he chose murder, because it wouldn't discredit the idea. He was smart. An amoral asshole, but a smart one.

who the fuck said anything about society? thats not the metric that is getting tested, fuckwit.

funny thing though, people who are good at solving hard logic? HUGE correlation with being able to succesfully deal with society. imagine that.

Professor Kaczinsky's manifesto about the dangers of technology in this new world is a must read. Written way before smartphones became a thing.

I work with a bunch of roughnecks, a bunch of real hard bastards. The hardened perception of the world at least has honor and respect. They earn each bit of what they are. Leftists live in a fairytale land where you don't have to go through any gauntlets, don't have to feel any pain, don't have to deal any pain.

It may be unpleasant to be around hard people, but at least you can count on them when it's important.

We do have more efficient technology. A Raspberry Pi uses about 1/40th the power of even a laptop, but good luck using that as your daily driver. But you can't serve, transmit, broadcast through the airwaves, then decode 4K video on efficient hardware.

For all our efficiency we don't have the ability to use it because demand for more will always fill in the gaps making an increase in consumption not just preferable, but necessary.

TL;DR: Malthus was right.

If you look at the eloquence of his writing and the success of his mission as a criminal you will see that his skills were not limited to "math". He was a wild free thinker and processed a lot of shit for humanity. It's arrogant to say that your work is worth more than the lives of the people that die for it, but the scale of the shit he was talking about makes the whole thing seem rational that it happened.

>people

>"Macbeth's self-justifications were feeble – and his conscience devoured him. Yes, even Iago was a little lamb, too. The imagination and spiritual strength of Shakespeare's evildoers stopped short at a dozen corpses. Because they had no ideology. Ideology – that is what gives evildoing its long-sought justification and gives the evildoer the necessary steadfastness and determination. That is the social theory which helps to make his acts seem good instead of bad in his own and others' eyes.... That was how the agents of the Inquisition fortified their wills: by invoking Christianity; the conquerors of foreign lands, by extolling the grandeur of their Motherland; the colonizers, by civilization; the Nazis, by race; and the Jacobins (early and late), by equality, brotherhood, and the happiness of future generations....Without evildoers there would have been no Archipelago."

There's a substantially better argument against communism than further justifying war and murder. Since we're trying not to do that in this thread.

If the unabomber internalized that passage, he wouldn't be in a supermax right now and would probably have nobel prize

I think he's mostly right in that quote. I think the real problem though is the general loss of identity in modern society. We've lost religion and nation and race, and we're increasingly losing careers. So we very little on which to base an identity anymore. Unless you're a minority, all that's really allowed for you in public is sexual identity.
And so the Leftists resent the few people who still manage to build an identity on their careers, the military, the police, the businessmen, etc, because they are jealous. Everyone else has to learn a new job every year or so, and without their LGBTHTTGGWERQ++ labels they'd have nothing. So they layer on top of that the negative construction of being "Anti-Fascist". So they're FOR basically sex and minority identity, but AGAINST basically any sort of judgment against that which they base their identity on, their sexual perversions.

The sad part is that will not last their whole lives, they will need to find some solid ground to stand on later. So they will eventually all end up making and joining cults, most likely some sort of AI worship nonsense, or full communism I guess.

he was a literal genius

I've never farmed so I'll take your word for it, seems pretty boring.
>muh hunter gatherers
I've never hunted, for sport or food, but it seems like it might be a great way to live, particularly in an area where delicious animals are abundant.
>everything was shit before the internet!!!1! I can order butt plugs right to my door!!! Freedom is an illusion!!!!
Not super convincing.

You didn't read the book then. He's explicit in his stance on technology

Spoken like something whose mathematics knowledge is hard capped at the high school level.
t. Mathfag

you don't know what you are talking about you mathlet peabrain

read his manifesto.

>Kaczinsky
you butchered it

he's in prison for life right? what a shame.
