Asuka is objectively a bad pilot because she can't handle the pressure. If she were e.g an airplane pilot, she'd never pass the bar or survive in active service. She'd never EVER make it past the stressing tests in the military. Bitch can't cope with failure or not everyone sucking her metaphorical tiny ego dick.

As if that wasn't bad enough, her psyche literally depends on being a pilot which makes the prior problems worse, it's not psychologically healthy for her to have that as her only identity. Bitch has no personality at all WHATSOEVER, she's not an individual just a cog in the machine.

Rei on the other hand, can stand the pressure and always come out on top, and Shinji also handles it well enough despite being just 14. They are great candidates who perform.

They SHOULD get rid of that shit Asuka and get another pilot. Asuka fucked up many times and they would be better off with Toji or anyone else. Asuka was replacable, Shinji and Rei wasn't.
