Talked about this yesterday, but the central theme is regression of time each dream takes place in a younger mindset: Old woman with a dead husband, Middle-aged housewife, Hedonistic adolescence, good vs. evil youthful absolutism, a child's game. At the end of the episode the mother embraces her entire existence in the form of confronting herself at her earliest and most honest incarnation and accepting everything she has come to represent and will represent through her entire life. I know it was just a dry run for beautiful dreamer but it's my favorite episode anyway just for the amazing character arc the mother gets.

Thank you user, i saw a fucking great episode i didnt know Lum tits for you.

Is that inception ep?
Fug, I barely remember it, need to rewatch it now in 1080p.
There's the tomato massacre ep as well.

This show has to be more circlejerked than Eva around here.

>people like a show
>"f-fucking circlejerkers"
Continue being an idiot at your leisure.

People liking a show isn't a circlejerk.

What did the ship mean?

Ships are symbols of Journeys. She's watching Lum and Ataru embark on a journey with one another.

>What did the ship mean?

The legion has come

>tfw no housewife

Why does Mendou appear? I don't thin Ataru's mother ever even met him.

...

This episode is crazier:

>there are people on Sup Forums right now who don't know Mamoru Oshii was Chief Director for Urusei Yatsura
Really?

So I've been reading the manga like crazy. I'm about 260 right now, but it's getting to be repetitive. I'm not sure if I should skip/skim through most of the chapters or just skip to near the end. Any advice?

I can't really answer your question, but I can tell you that if you skip any chapter, by the time you finish, you'll be so addicted that you'll go back and read them anyway.

But each chapter is what, 16 pages? Why even bother skipping?

A Rumiko manga getting repetitive? How unheard of!

True, I guess I am somewhat close to the end anyway. Might as well ride it out
I've never read any of her manga before
