Why doesn't anyone her gun?

why doesn't anyone her gun?

It's a water pistol.

I like to think that she switches it out for a real gun every once in a while knowing that no one will even notice.

I'm half way through S1 and I was hooked, but now it's gotten a bit boring. Does it get better? Kinda spoiled it for myself while reading through the wiki about how mayabara eventually remembers what happened in previous episodes (chapters*).

She's an heir to the mob in a small rural town. She can do whatever the fuck she wants.

keep with it user, s2 is amazing

Read the VN or manga. The anime removes a lot of important things to make it look more like a generic horror story.

I'd her gun

I'm watching it at the minute also.

I fucking loved S1, S2 started off pretty bad in my opinion but picks it up like 10 episodes in. But never gets as good as S1 in terms of mystery and and has some garbage meme episodes. Also deaths stop completely for some reason, instead you get stupid shit like armed soldiers running downhill on rolling logs like scooby doo, powered by the magic of friendship.

I liked Rei other than the first episode (meme swimsuit episode). I gave up watching Kira, 0/10 it has nothing to do with higurashi or why I liked S1.

Stop using the word meme where it doesn't apply

everything is a meme user

>I gave up watching Kira, 0/10 it has nothing to do with higurashi or why I liked S1.
That's because you're an animeonlyfag. Kira has everything to do with Higurashi and is the soul the the series.

Yeah that's correct. But i'd be surprised if the VNs went as far as the SOUL BROTHERS episodes

This is why animefags suck ass. You don't understand Higurashi just fuck off. The OVAs were great

Read the fucking VN. The anime removes all the happy fun friend bonding parts which is half the fucking point of the story.

The soul brothers part comes from the minigames that were included with the first 4 arcs.

They do, actually, though those scenes were by far my least favorite (the Higurashi VNs overall are some of my favorite stories ever). There's a reason that kind of banal comedy was never present in Umineko, and that's because Ryukishi matured as an author and improved with keeping a consistent tone.

I was wrong to say 'nothing to do with higurashi', but those episodes were very too detached from the tone it set in S1 I felt

Does Umineko relate much to Higurashi? I have been leaving it until I watch Outbreak

>Does Umineko relate much to Higurashi? I have been leaving it until I watch Outbreak

Very, very loosely. There's one villain with a strong connection to a main Higurashi character, but that's about it, and she doesn't really play a role until episode 4 of the VN.

>those episodes were very too detached from the tone it set in S1 I felt
They're not. They're the soul of Higurashi. S1 focused too much on the horror and less on the SoL.

>some garbage meme episodes
What the actual fuck does this mean?

I liked Umineko but they only animated liek half the story.

OVAs where amazing.

Thanks for the input. Will stick with it and read the manga/VN/LN

>s2 is amazing

Higurashi is just another game (thus a fictional universe) within the Umineko universe.
