The recent Trump fiasco around here brings back to mind an issue which has intermittently come up over the years: the American political system is (for practical purposes) binary. The two parties are opposed to each on essentially all issues, and are the only real options to vote for. If you want to vote pro-life, you have to also vote against welfare, for example. If you want to vote for subsidized healthcare you have to also vote for gun control. Most of the time this doesn't seem to be a problem but the Israel debate is one that seems to constantly grate on you, since the party you normally side with is also (or at least has been for the past few presidencies) pro-Israeli, and the anti-Israeli party is opposed to everything you stand for.
Do you think that this highlights a fundamental problem with the American political system? Do you think it's one that should be resolved? If so, how? If not, why not? Are you okay with the current situation even if at present it means you find yourself unable to support either side?
Gavin Lopez
Trump fiasco? Trump does what you want. Palestinians chimp out. "Damn you Trump!!"
Jacob Nguyen
Yes it's always been a problem, but that might be changing. The biggest thing Trump's election has done as far as US politics goes, is the destabilization of both the RNC, and DNC. I have seen a lot more conservatives not unilaterally supporting Republicans, and I've see where there are a lot of leftist, who now don't trust the DNC.
Nathaniel Morales
How do you believe this could influence the future of US politics? Can you see a circumstance under which the two party system evolves into something else?
Isaac Morales
I mean from your point of view. People here seem to be torn over the fact that to support Trump means to support Israel, but because of the way American politics are built not supporting him means supporting an alternative that comes built-in with immigration, healthcare, abortions and gun control.
Israel is by and large pretty content with the whole thing. This chimpout is actually rather mild by past standards.
The American political system just interests me on a personal level.
Isaac Harris
Is that a IDF girl?
Ian Sullivan
Well I think the DNC is going to fall entirely because one of their biggest problems is how they've been pushing black racism, and all of these identity groups. They've caused their own infighting in the party.
I don't think the RNC will just shatter like that, but you really have two factions there which don't like each other, and have entirely different support bases. Trump is a nationalist, and someone like Bush was a neocon which is a globalist. I suspect that eventually, some nationalist will get tired of the dirty tricks the neocons use against us, and will start a new party. You're already starting to see some rumblings of that which the Roy Moore situation.
Matthew Ramirez
Supposedly. it's hard to say without seeing the rest of the uniform. She's definitely presented as such on the internet, so whatever makes you feel better about jacking off to her.
Easton Scott
>Trump fiasco >the American political system is (for practical purposes) binary.
The fuck are you talking about? Everyone knows that the two big political parties are wolves in sheep's clothing. No one other than the normies believe that there's actually a choice.
>but the Israel debate is one that seems to constantly grate on you
Most people don't care.
>since the party you normally side with is also (or at least has been for the past few presidencies) pro-Israeli, and the anti-Israeli party is opposed to everything you stand for.
Saudis own the Democrats and the Israelis own the Republicans. Your point?
>Do you think that this highlights a fundamental problem with the American political system?
Do you think there can exist a political system where self-interested individuals, and not a massive hive-minded organism, will not eventually lead to the decay of an otherwise good system of checks and balances?
>Do you think it's one that should be resolved?
Time and evolution resolves everything. No one needs to resolve anything.
>If so, how? If not, why not? Are you okay with the current situation even if at present it means you find yourself unable to support either side?
Is the Mossad now on Sup Forums looking for information? I thought you guys were more sophisticated than this.
Leo Miller
How many parties do you think the American political system could feasibly contain without having to essentially restructure itself into something different (e.g. similar to the British, French or Japanese systems)?
John Long
In my opinion it looks like a french camo
Isaac Campbell
Be a GOOD time to bring up the USS Liberty and how Israelis attacked it with jet bombers, napalm, armor piercing rounds.> Then attack boats shot survivors in life rafts and torpedoed the Liberty. Then Isreali choppers showed up trying to finish them off. Fuck off schmig- the USA knows Israel is not an actual ally, and we know most are fake Jews. The world is too smart to keep falling for the " chosen people" bullshit. god hates you by now.
Leo Brooks
Most armies worth their salt have several camo patterns to work with, which is why I think it's difficult to say without seeing the rest of the uniform (e.g. unit insignias or other identifying characteristics).
Wyatt Diaz
I'd say roughly 6, but presidential elections will likely have to be altered to have something like pairwise comparisons, or extended primaries. IE: 3 right wing groups battle it out, before running against the pick from the Left wing primaries.
Landon Gray
Why is this relevant to the thread subject?
David Hill
It's our old BDU camo, and LBE, but the IDF bought a lot of it from us.
Elijah Gutierrez
Flagetta Italian Camo. She looks like a female operatorX
Aaron Green
Proof that the USA should NEVER ever trust Israelis and in no way an ally. Killed 34 US sailors on purpose, should have nuked you off the map. The US and fucking shitbag LBJ should have turned against the Israelis then. 1967 when you were stealing more lands.
Oliver Reyes
You can actually get this stuff pretty cheep, if you want it.
Ian Torres
>you want to vote pro-life, you have to also vote against welfare, for example. Nah If you vote left you're voting for an expanding authoritarian state. If you vote right you're vote for an expanding authoritarian state with its final effect being a slave class serving the Jew The left-right dynamic in American politics is a false dichotomy with its final effect being a slave class serving the Jew >inb4 "same goes for your system leaf" I know, I know
Daniel Smith
But that's not what the thread was about in the first place.
John Martinez
Ignore the muslime, he's retarded ,also I know my gear, I was an airborne infantryman for six years.
Dylan Ross
>If you vote left you're voting for an expanding authoritarian state with its final effect being a slave class serving the Jew
Liam Murphy
Nope dipshit. Im white I enlisted. Dont know any muslims, but see them and Jews about the same kind of Semite. both US parties should stop supporting Israel period. Arrogant pricks, cause the US more trouble than you're worth. Brainwashed fags like mr Airborne Infantry would suck every Israeli dick if given a chance. The USS Liberty is proof on why NOT to support Israel.
Nolan Harris
>Im white I enlisted. Doesn't even know shit about our equipment. Changes argument form "fuck Israel, to we shouldn't be in the Mideast."
Yeap, you're a mudslime.
Aiden Ward

Cameron Long
>I was an airborne infantryman for six years.
Then why the heck do you think
>I'd say roughly 6, but presidential elections will likely have to be altered to have something like pairwise comparisons, or extended primaries. IE: 3 right wing groups battle it out, before running against the pick from the Left wing primaries.
Are you just LARPing at this stage?
What's the point of expanding the number of parties in the current system? Will it provide a "choice" to the voter, or will the new system you proposed (3 parties on each side) be compromised by the corporations?
The true rulers of the united states are the corporations. Politicians are just buffers for normies like you.
Chase Gomez
American politics are structurally biased towards a two party dichotomy. To get more sustainable alternative parties would require altering the voting systems to use instant-runoff or proportional representation.
Hudson Ramirez
Keep sucking that Israeli dick schlomo. Dont care about 34 dead US sailors just some old woodland Camo. Never heard someone call a cover a BDU. You go airborne fag. They are all BDU, just try the word woodland and you might be believed.
Elijah Butler
>both US parties should stop supporting Israel period.
Yeah, and you're going to replace Israel and Saudi Arabia as the primary donors for both parties. Well done user, we finally have a solution in the U.S.
>Arrogant pricks, cause the US more trouble than you're worth.
Not yet. They haven't caused enough trouble for the U.S. citizenry to revolt.
>Brainwashed fags like mr Airborne Infantry would suck every Israeli dick if given a chance.
Nah, he probably served in the middle east and is having a good convo with OP.
>The USS Liberty is proof on why NOT to support Israel.
Go back to bed user. Alliances are not formed and destroyed by single events. Single events are used to publicly declare the formation or removals of alliances.
Thomas Hill
Don't kid yourself Shlomo. Both the Democrats and Republicans are openly Zionist and pro Israel
Parker Sullivan
>The recent Trump fiasco reddit is that way you stupid fucking nigger
John Price
Your mudslime buddies have killed far more service members than that Akmed, and not by mistake, also BDU is a camo pattern you fucking idiot.
>The true rulers of the united states are the corporations Hi /leftypol/
Anyway, this thread just went from a decent discussion to being infected with HIV, and herpes.
Jonathan Campbell
Both democrats and republicans support Israel.
Luis Gomez
9/11 Fukushima
Some day I hope this "alliance" ends. Good Marines were killed in Beirut protecting the same fucks. Nobody but Trump cares about Israel anymore. God sure didn't choose them for shit.
Ayden Walker
Greatest ally, I am a white anglo-saxon goyim, if I came to Israel could I get Israeli gf?
Blake Hill
BDU is battle dress fatigues. Blouse and trousers only. Desert and woodland were both BDU. Woodland is the camo pattern itself. You were never a six year infantry vet, lying fucking asshole. Go steal some more valor.
Gabriel Torres
They are only divided on minor domestic issues.
They both support big government and military intervention. Dems like to micro-manage while Republicans like to just let them loose They both support police state and mass surveillance under the guise of "safety". (See Patriot Act) They are both pro-immigration (Reagan Amnesty) They both support Crony Capitalism They both support Israel
Joseph Moore
What alternative would you rather, then? Do you believe that the American political system is inherently flawed?
Liam Harris
This
Andrew Morales
You have to be a useless Jew to think the USS Liberty attack or Beirut Barracks bombing was a mistake. No they used jets, then boats, then choppers. NO mistake, just deceitful jews. Wearing that purty BDU style camo. Fucking Larper.
Christopher Hughes
Why does the US drifted so far from what made it powerful? Why ditch capitalism (not crony capitalism) and classical liberal ideas? Why the average american nowadays, thinks that big government and more laws is what will make things work?
Isaac Cooper
Not him, but I'd prefer a Libertarian approach, and I honestly think most americans would too Also it is flawed, and it will continue to be flawed until only property owners are allowed to vote, if that happened tomorrow most of the issues we have would probably be resolved within my lifetime
That's just my burger opinion though
Carson Roberts
The american government has slowly been convincing it's people to give it more power, and this goes as far back as the civil war if not farther >No you can't just secede >Yes we can tax your income >Yes we can ban booze and marijuana >yes we can regulate your guns >yes we can create a welfare state >yes we can violate privacy if we think there is terrorism afoot
None of this was supposed to happen, but because of the overdose this country's culture had on democracy (most people in the country wrongly conflate democracy with justice/freedom) the government class was eventually able to reach the tipping point where getting elected is less about appealing to reasonable people and more about appealing to the average american, and lets face it, the average american is a fucking idiot, one way or the other Honestly I think Hoppe does a better job explaining the flaws of democracy than I ever could, but that's really the root of the problem in america I think, too much democracy, which created too much government which created too much corruption which created the shitshow we have today
again, just my burger opinion
also to be fair don't most people in first world countries suffer the delusion that more laws and more government is always the answer? Maybe I'm just stupid but it kinda seems that way
Lincoln Jones
>Hi /leftypol/
user, not everyone who disagrees with your normie principles is a leftist. Lurk for a while more before your start categorizing the opinions of other Anons.
>Anyway, this thread just went from a decent discussion to being infected with HIV, and herpes.
This thread was herpes from the beginning since OP has little understanding of U.S. politics.
Hudson Barnes
>People here seem to be torn over the fact that to support Trump means to support Israel
Well to me i dont give a fuck. Kikes can do what they want over there. I dont give a fuck that a pali blew up and killed some kikes children, or a kike policeman killed a poor pali child.
The only problem i've got with the kikes, is that when they had Israël, they didn't leave us alone, and now some of your fucking multikulti kikes want to destroy us, that's mostly why i fucking hate the jews. Not because they are jews, but because once they had what they wanted, they wanted more, more and ever more. Those motherfuckers all could have gone to the Israël they always wanted to have. Still, they didn't, and now they want to genocide us. And those son of bitches are still interfering in our business, and more than ever.
Sometimes, maybe not you, but for creating those assholes, your people deserves sometimes what he gets, since 3000 years.
Noah White
Trump is 100% pro Israel and it's still not enough?
Jaxon Myers
Isn't that precisely your issue?
Lucas Hughes
"I will bless them that bless thee and curse them that curse thee" said God to Abraham. USA is gonna be blessed. Look at the Arab world and Iran.
Ayden Wilson
Do you think the situation in the Arab world is a good indicator?
