As of December 6, Steam is no longer accepting Bitgoyim as payment, primarily because there's almost always a $20 transaction fee for every single purchase AND refund.
So to all the Bitgoyim out there, how's that unregulated free market treating you?

Bitcoin is made to be a longterm store value anyway. How much would the transaction fee be if you physically had to move gold for every transaction? Does that mean gold is useless? No. There will be paper bitcoins that works on trust instead of having to send the actual bitcoin code every time. Just like the system with paper gold.
Ryan Reed
>Bitcoin is made to be a longterm store value anyway. no it's forced into this because it can't handle the transactions of your local supermarket
