The first few ones were super fun but then it gets repetitive and I got bored around volume 8.

Anime is the plural of anime; manga is the plural of manga. It's been like this since at least the 80's. Just because ignorant people get it wrong doesn't mean we can let them over crowd the rest of us and change the common usage.

Joke aside, once a foreign word becomes common it gets appropriated. Nobody is saying "I ordered two pizze". And even if a bunch of weebs don't like it manga and anime will get an "s".

I don't want to get in further argument as others are trying to make a proper thread, but aside from filtering pleb I don't know what you're trying to accomplish with this "no s" policy.

Got a live action adaptation, though.

Having Koshimizu use her Holo voice in the Drama CDs somehow makes it even better.

I've never heard anyone actually say "animes" or "mangas". I only see it written as a typo. This one isn't changing, people just fuck it up occasionally.

It's fun. All of the "main" game arcs, (Red/Blue, Gold/Silver, ect.) are good, starting with 3rd gen all of the side game arcs, (Emerald, Fire red/Leaf Green, ect.) are rushed messes that try to fit too much into too few chapters.

That being said, I haven't read past Gen IV, due to a lack of available scans for Black/White.

Punpun is honestly just pretentious misery porn. Writing down to earth stories about listless young people is what Asano is good at and should stick with. What a Wonderful World was great until it starts introducing shinigami and that "disease" thing later on.

It was the work that made him a lot more known before Punpun. It's short (only 28 chapters) and really good if you like "post-college twentysomethings trying to figure out what they want out of life" style stories.
