I hear this argument that rock is irreversibly tied to nigger banjos, however Europe has a strong tradition of lutes and shit so I think it kinda evolved as our own thing when we noticed niggers were playing stringed fretted instruments and we were reminded we had some of our own. The scales of modern rock, metal, black metal, and generally all music relating to guitar outside of boomershit and actual blues/jazz are based in European music.
