beyond animators, the plots themselves deal with some pretty real shit sometimes digimon adventure style
the dub isn't bad either, unlike every other dub of a show like this from that era they didn't remove all traces of japanese culture or violence against kids, probably because the censors didn't pay attention to it/

Yeah, I really loved that. You'd get these goof ass episodes where the zoo animals are all penguins, then you'd get real sensitive and emotionally touching episodes like this one. And it worked great, never felt jarring. Arika and the Icelandic guy had great chemistry, I remember rewinding their scenes over and over.

I like Medabots because I've had the GBA rpg for something of twelve years, so I went to watch the show and was pleasantly surprised.
It looks great and is pretty funny too, but the episodes do kinda vary between good / clever and childish. It is a kids show after all.

Gotta rewatch this shit again, last I recall this show had Sakura have a crush on her brother's way older friend, I need to see if it's as creepy as I remember plus now I can fully appreciate the advances from the lesbian rich girl that at the time went completely past my head.

Man, I liked Adventure 3 more than 2 to be honest, I think I'll download both.
Another childhood show that I recently felt like watching again was Megaman, both old one and Battle Network one (based on the GBA games that I also played to hell), I remember watching the Battle Network airing on Fox Kids when I was around 9 or 10.

I remember that channel 5 here in my country used to air the show only in autumn and winter for like 4 years straight so it was very rare of them to actually repeat any episode, because the show started at 6pm right before school, most of the time you would be watching the show eating snacks or dinner, shit was comfy as fuck.
In spring and summer they used to air a show called Japan X Project or Project X Japan or something like that which showed how Japanese people though they where the center of the universe.
