Kuromukuro

Yukina was just your average Japanese high school girl, but everything changed one day when she met a naked MANLY SAMURAI WARRIOR named Kennosuke who was sent from the past to save the future! Together, they must pilot the alien artifact mech dubbed "Kuromukoro" to fend off the alien mecha invasion and save humanity as we know it!

I haven't had this much fun watching a mecha anime since Full Metal Panic. How did Sup Forums like this one?

Not many watched this since late subs and no simulcast. Pretty good series, I like the robot designs though the multi blade something robot was a bit funny for some reason.

Bridge bunnies made me sadder than the actual main characters.

I liked the more sedate moments and comedy a lot more than the mecha action, for the most part, but it was still an alright show. I wouldn't mind seeing PA Works experiment with different genres like this more in the future.

I didn't realize the FMP vibes until he transferred into her class. Then everything up until that part I started to see how it was all so similar with how he's completely oblivious to modern society and she's basically the straight man in all of the comedic scenes like when he burned his feet on the asphalt and she gave him the crocs to wear and he was so impressed by them.

basically the greatest anime of 2016

more like inuyasha meets fmp since he's from the past AND she has a shock collar on him in order to subdue him..

I wish this could be made again but without the mecha part. Ken's reactions to modern day things were the most funny in all anime last year.

Why the fuck have I never heard of this? Shit sounds amazing
