I'm going to need you to be more specific. Does he keep his geass? Does he suddenly supplant the protagonist's personality at the start of the series while retaining their memories or what?

Lelouch is far better at being likable and could use his supporters more efficiently and not choose some crazy git like Mikami

If Kira was replaced with Lelouch the plot of Deathnote would never even begin. Light is basically a more extreme version of Schneizel, Lulu would never follow that path.

If Lelouch did use the Deathnote he wouldn't make it obvious like Kira did.
