>I blame the existence of terrorism on nationalist hatred to the west that steped on the islamic nations
Blame the mongols for sacking your libraries, while you might have to confront yourself with some unjust historical decisions of islamic rulers just as the west doesnt bother to defend certain practizes of the past anymore. Doesnt mean you have to adopt our selfhatred ofc but when some fulani caliphate in the 17th century starts a perpetual jihad or a certain persian dynasty persecutes sabians you cant blame the west but theocratic rigidity. Looking at the sects of Islam that arose from the time when the libraries of Baghdad and Damascus were in their prime, such as the nusayris and druze who are straight up syncretic, you can expect some controverse changes to the faith for better and worse should it come to that point.
Aaron Stewart
The mongols had the mentality of "they should feel shame if they are weak" if we do not rise up on our own and grasp the knowledge that made us strong once then we shall be weak and may we know shame and disgrace.
also >some fulani caliphate you're syrian?
Gabriel Cooper
This. The destruction and manipulation of history plays a much larger role that we think it does eh. Also, the creation of Wahhabis was no accident.

Either my professor had a stroke writing this problem or she is secretly Kurdish levels of stupid
Connor Jones
I think they are good guys because I genuinely believe in the pluralistic, liberal and decentralized social democratic values they support. if you are a sociopathic lolbertarian who believes that anyone associated with the word "socialism" is not a human being then yes they are "bad guys."
furthermore the existence of SDF administered autonomous zones is a detriment to the unity of postwar Syria, so the Assadists dislike them on that account since they really are rebels against the government. this in turn also results in a weaker position for Syria's ally Iran and the rest of the Shia Crescent / Axis of Resistance against Israel, so anti Zionists also resent the existence of the YPG.
also YPG affiliates itself with the Kurdish PKK which is responsible for guerilla warfare / terror attacks in Turkey, so a lot of Turks, particularly nationalist Turks, despite the YPG because of that association. For instance, the poster "Arab Baathist" in these threads has been so vocal about his hatred for YPG in the past that many people are convinced that he is actually a Turk pretending to be an Arab, hence why he is often referred to as Bongroach (he usually posts with UK flag)
hopefully this cleared some things up, I personally like them, but I understand why other people's preferences and priorities lead them to disagree with the movement. however I don't believe that characterizing them as evil or terrorist is accurate.
Alexander Hernandez
Why would Zionists dislike a weaker Shia Crescent?

Nicolas Maduro is a brave leader who defends his nation against American imperialism, even when his own countrymen stab him in the back for the promise of wealth and power in an American puppet state. He refuses to sell his country to the highest bidder, like some in the opposition would like him to, and is the victim of a vicious smear campaign by imperialists desperate to wipe a defiant nation off the map. Guided by the hand of god, and supported by the people of Venezuela, he will not yield, and will continue to stand tall in the face of the imperialists’ wrath.
