Later, he gets the blue fags and the red fags to cooperate in arresting some chinese mafia dudes. They set them up with Lloyd going incognito and taking a beating until they surround them, then he stands up from the ground like nothing happened and it's INTENSE CHASE time.

Corruption of Champions was better

1st game is a nice change of pace from the usual "Ancient evil has awoken, now you must embark on a quest to kill a god" as it focuses on 2 amateurs who get to do shit like finding missing cats and changing light bulbs. Near the ending the plot gets more serious and the stakes scalate, but only until the final, final boss do they reach silly levels. The antagonist's scope stays pretty local, nothing silly like world domination or shit like that, its actually a pretty human motive.

Second Chapter amps up to eleven taking from the previous game ending's reveals, still, your work as a bracer remains grounded, with things only getting silly around the Society events. Then it all goes to high hell at the middle point, the ride loses its brakes and doesn't stop until the fucking awesome conclusion

The mood of the original song was wistful, light,and iconic for me. It really embodied the sort of song you'd stroll on a road while looking at the sky, thus the namesake.

The Evolution version completely destroys the mood and tries to make it all epic and shit. It doesn't carry the same mood at all, with all those fucking horns.
