Holy shit her series was bad.

There's alot of characters and the sub plot's complicated. Took me a few rewatching and reading the novel made me understand and love it.

It wasn't the complexity I found off-putting, in its core the premise is even somewhat interesting. It's just that instead of using the story elements it has the series somehow really quick turns into your regular battle shounen filled with atrocious character designs, borderline unintentional comedy sport themed adversaries and pseudo-intellectual debates and arguing which is like a frosting on the cake. I was really, really disappointed on the turns the series took.

At least your waifu had probably the best VA there's on the industry currently.
