WN is freely distributed, most had no illustration, and no editor either. It's armature work basically.

Darkness is better. Aqua looks more less beautiful but more interesting. And Megumin design doesn't match her personality at all.

Megumeme is much more fappable in the WN.

It changes a lot but at the same time it's the same.
None of them is particularly really great or really bad. Character design isn't Konosuba's strength.

Darkness looks closer to how I imagined her from the description. Anime design didn't give off the beauty vibe all that much

I think, I've gotten too used to Aquas anime/ln design. I can only imagine my alcoholic, idiotic water goddess with that weird hair and that slutty outfit.

Megumin looks too bland. Like she wouldn't talk all that much and be the quiet one who keeps a calm atmosphere. I'm glad she's not like that though, as I like the current Megumin with her sometimes composed, sometimes bickering attitude.
