Usagi Drop is pretty chill. I did not really mind the ending, though that may have been biased due to my enjoyment of others' hatred.
I recall another in which the father was a salesman and he pushed a ladybug design to his company. Forget the title though.
My Girl, is what you're thinking of. I loved that one.
Haven't checked out Usagi Drop, yet, since I hate to lewd daughterus.
I think I'll just stop before the ending, when I get around to it.
>My Girl
(Sahara Mizu), right. That was it, thank you.
otaku no musume has the best eyebrows
Somali to mori no kami-sama is a great father manga if you consider a golem doing good shortly before his death a father.
...
It was a nice read.
I was pissed about the ending but then I read the omakes from the artist's pixiv. Adult Kanau is hot.
do you have a link user?
Yeah.
>I've never loved you
WHAT A FUCKING BITCH.
GOD
I liked it, and i didn't hated the ending but i was really confused so it took a time untill i understood the fuck happened with the flat chested girl and by that time i saw no real reason to be mad.
>I've never loved you
That was a dick move but it didn't really pissed me off, but taking her daughter like that and then not letting the man see her that was not right in any way.

Think that's all of them, Kanau is the new land lady after Kouta married Haruka and moved out. She gets along well with Haruka's son, Souta.
Sup Forums had shitstorms over the two twists it had when it was still ongoing.
It was universaly praised before, like Usagi Drop many just pretend it never existed after it ended.
>Have you read it, Sup Forums?
It was followed relgiously newfriend, then certain developments happened and people got mad, it never appeared in any recomendation chart ever since.
Yeah, I consider those to be the same event. Like, her not actually having liked him makes it okay to take away his daughter.
Anyway, at least he got her back.
>Also, father manga thread.
Chichiogusa
My Girl
Actual fatherhood manga that doesn't shit the bed.
thanks user,also

MC's friend was the best. Also, that story of sensei and manager! Disregard the ending, this manga was just wonderful. One of my favorites, definitely.
>MC's friend was the best.
Name?
He was actually, even back then when Sup Forums was fresh from taking both twists in the face, no one hated alien-pedo bro. He was Kouta's true and only friend.
I liked him as a character, but if I were a father, I'd likely hate him.
Ded scanlations, it's been what? A year since we last got one?
His porn is god tier though
Once THAT happened it went to shit, like the manga took a serious nosedive
Which THAT?
Which THAT?
There are people who consider two moments to be THAT while others are more pissed at the final reveal.
They are not dead. just busy translation SAO.
Which one
"We are married"
or
"I never loved you"
These caused shitstorms of great proportions.
The final arc and the ending were absolutely abominable. It's one of those mangas which truly feel like a waste of time, after those twists and turns.
"We are actually married"
It was the beginning of the end, the series was flawless till then, the manga was loved and it was on Sup Forums's official recomendation list before.
What happened in the final chapters was just the final blow in an already tainted series, hell, the shitstorm for it was just two big threads (as far as I remember) while the "we married lol" opened the floodgates with many threads, so when the final blow happened many just stopped giving the series much attention.
Sen to Man
I was upset at times
Fucking hell, motherfucking hell.
How can a series sabotage itself this hard and never recover?
Like when Sup Forums got mad at Onani Master Kurosawa during the "she is my girlfriend" event but then the series ended on such a fantastic note that everything was forgiven, in fact people just look back and see that moment as part of Kurosawa's needed development.
Honestly, what's the huge issue? He can't get with the landlady? I was still hoping for him to get back with Nozomi, at the time, so I wasn't really affected.
Huh? You must be a rare breed then, even when people were unaware of Nozomi's true nature all I saw was people wanting to get with the landlady, including myself.
What's the huge issue? That shit came out of nowhere, it added nothing to the story, it was as if the author was dead set on fucking Kouta over his crush.
Warning: THAT Alert
>Just finished this, it was pretty good.
> it was pretty good.
Triggered
At the end of the day he was the only decent person left in the series, and he was a self-admited pedophile.
What is wrong with you, it was hilarious and cute. Go read some harem shit, i don't know. Manager never even once showed the MC any kind of romantic affection, how delusional one should be to ship them?
>translation SAO.
Such a waste.
She fucks him, doesn't she?
Nope.
>Also, that story of sensei and manager!
>marrying your daughteru
UNFORGIVABLE
I'm still waiting for news from tap-trans (the translator) for the translation of the rest of volume 2
I've been reading Amaama no Inazuma. Though it's basically a "one-sided teenage love towards her friendly teacher" story disguised as a father-daughter story.
The dad fucking cut off all of her daughter's poofy hair, shit series to be honest.
Yeah, I started watching it, and that's a turn-off.
Annoying him then, it's a real shame that the series is that far behind.
It's downplayed in the anime. The focus in the manga still largely is about the single father struggling (but getting better over time) at raising his daughter but the romance thing is always there in the background. Atleast it's not pulling an Usagi Drop or whatever though.
>it was hilarious and cute
Holy shit, this is Sup Forums now.
>dating your daughteru is cute
HERESY
the ending sucked dicks
You can drop Usagi Drop right after the timeskip happens. The butthurt over the ending overshadows the fact that the timeskip in general was just pretty bad.
Anything else that does the Usagi Drop route?
I don't mind it.
>Manager never even once showed the MC any kind of romantic affection
and that stopped the timeless classic that was Maison Ikkoku? Romance develops as time goes, it doesn't bring a needless twist that served for literally nothing other than fuck the protagonist over.
Wood Allen's real life.
You disgust me.
I'm taking a nap, Sup Forums, don't let this thread die.
Maybe the protagonist needed to get fucked over.
Sad that Chichi kogusa popped only once in this thread.
Widowed father who is a wandering doctor tries his best to raise his kid and help people out.
Maybe you need to get fucked over.
But this story was about MC being a father and his path to fatherhood not about him getting the girl as main goal. A romance in his life would have ruined the purpose of the story.
No, get your ass back here and keep your shit alive, I've posted 20 times in this thread already and people aren't dicussing shit but remember how Otaku no Musume-san isn't even among Sup Forums's favorites anymore.
...
I'm sorry your landlady didn't fall for you user but don't take it out on me.
>A romance in his life would have ruined the purpose of the story.
Do you have selective memory? Kouta starts thinking that Kanau should have a mother as soon as he solidifies his bond with her.
Why did she cut it?
She was complaining that it was too long for her to do much of anything without it getting in the way, so she has it cut and styled to her deceased mother's hairstyle. It probably was too long but it looked cute before.
Fair enough. Long hair is a bitch sometimes.
low angler hard at work
It weirded me out but I never shipped her with MC so I wasn't upset
Happy glasses girl won and from the looks of it won bigly
>Have you read it, Sup Forums?
lurk for two years before posting, you fucking dweeb
He would have to lurk for more than that and earlier too, Otaku no Musume-san ended 6 years and 3 months ago, and with it the regular threads died much before after people got mad at the final developments.
It's like a newfriend coming up and asking if anyone has watched Gurren Lagann really.
>Otaku no Musume-san ended 6 years and 3 months ago
So it's true, I'm gonna die here after all.
WTF trio end?
If he would have lurked for two years, hell, even one year, he would have seen at least one of those nostalgic threads about the manga that pop up every once in a while, or, a thread similar to this one.
It's weird realizing that even "recent" meme girls like Chaika are now almost 3 years old.
>meme girls like Chaika are now almost 3 years old.
No fucking way.
Just fucking kill me.
Kanau went to live with her mother but decided she wanted to be part of Kouta's life more, it was pretty clear on the original series end.
I mean trio between the kid Kouta (?) and the two girls.
Where should I stop reading if I don't want another usage drop?
I remember when Sup Forums lost their shit to this. Fun times.
It's the kid he had with the other otaku girl, fuck I forgot her name.
Anyway it's the baby she is holding in the end, it's Kouta's kid, that's why the strip's joke is being siscon, the boy with Kanau.
KOUTA THE DAMNED threads.
oohoo, so this kid is kouta son and he is with the two girls from landlord?......chaotic mangaka.
Also i am referring to this trio.
>The thick eyebrow with glasses is souta
>The thick eyebrow gorgeous chick bathing together with souta is Kanu
who are the other characters heck theres someone also that looks like that long nosed lolicon
bump
One of the funniest manga I ever read. Shame the MC gets so fucked over in the end.
Sorry, m/a/n. Here I am. Thanks for the bumps.
I'd seen it here before, so I knew it'd been something here, I just was asking anons personally. Just wanted something to start up the thread. Don't get so caught up over the wording.
My Girl gave me some intense feels.
>clown'd
What were the two twists again?
One was manager and the mangaka were together, the other was what again?
>I never loved you
Well, so what's the lineup for fatherhood mangas?
Of course, Yotsuba.
Otaku no Musume-san.
My Girl.
Those're all I've read that I can remember, at the moment, though I know I've read more.
It was also very good twist, by the way. That bitch was a great character, but it's not like self-insert fags would care. She dares to not to like the MC, what a shock, worst manga ever!
Don't really understand you, because this manga got almost nothing in common with Usagi Drop. The ending is bad because it didn't let the characters grow. Kouta ONCE AGAIN missed the birth and early years of his child, the mother didn't take any punishment for her actions and Haruka never ever tried to clear things up with Kouta after that evening. God, what a shitty ending, i'm still mad. "Otaku no Musume" could have been perfect.
