Akiba's Trip

The OP lied to me

>Mayo taking deep huffs of Tamotsu's underwear

Damn she really is thirsty for the NEET Dick.

This series is shaping up to be one of the best parodies/homages of nerd culture that I have ever seen

...

Holy fuck she is deserpate for dickings

So far this series has shat on:

-Gun/ military otaku
-Audiofaggots
-Radiofaggots
-FIGHTAN GAME faggots

And it is about to shit on the PC MUSTARD RACE next episode.

I love this series so much.

Porn when?

Didn't really feel like they shat on fighting games this episode. It was just blatant propaganda. I want capcom to fuck off.

Gamer-chan was cute as all fuck

Well, shat on may be a bit harsh but it was affectionately taking the piss as well as allowing Capcom some advertising space

>us otaku, rite?

This show sucks

You forgot idolfags

>hurrrr im a contrarian faggot who cant laugh at a light parody

Neck yourself you cynical cunt

>muh otaku pendering and fanservice
Either you don't know what self-deprecating humor is or you aren't an otaku.

Onahole episode when?

>light parody
Good, funny. See: any otaku reference in SZS
An anime expressly set in Akihabara with antics thereabout is anything but a "light parody". It's as in-your-face with its humorless self-referential bullshit as it can possibly be

>I am a cynical cunt: The Post

For me it's the surprise of the season. I really enjoy this show.

Having standards is not the same as being cynical.

>watches anime
>has standards

Who are you trying to fool, you cynical fuck

You mean like all the other stuff that preceded it the last 20 years and mentions it in their stuff too?

Seems to me like you're the cynical one here, if you think that anime (this thing that, I would assume, you call your hobby) can not possibly have quality stories and humor.

So when will art, anime, manga, video games and ecchi/hentai pop up? I'm sure we'll get indie, politics and doujinshi/fanfics and literature next.

I don't think being interested in politics is a type of otaku though.

So which ones of the jokes got under your skin because they hit too close to home?

Those are too broad. And not Akiba related enough. Maids and figures and some other electronic thing is more likely. An episode about kebabs is more likely than anime or manga generally. Vidya was kind of covered this episode.

The amount of genuine representation of legit otaku hobbies kept bringing Genshiken back into my mind. Only solidified more after the fighting game episode. Surprisingly enjoying this show.

I hope they have a synthesizer related episode.

Like what for example?
I don't see a single anime from these last 20 years that did the same thing as Akiba's Trip.
SZS and Gintama parodied everything and not specifically otaku hobbies, Genshiken was more specifically about anime otaku and it was almost as much romance as comedy, NHK ni youkoso was more about the hikkikomori way of life, and so on.

>Aoi Yuuki big bad this week
>Ayana Taketastu big bad last week
>No Petit Milady ED

YA BLEW IT

Same here. It's much better than I expected.

Yeah, making it original instead of adapting one of the games was a great idea.

I am still hoping Aoi and Ayana appears as themselves later on.

When?

She got smothered by loose underwear. That doesn't mean that she is thirsty.

>Aoi Yuuki is genderbent Daigo complete with EVO moment #37 reproduced in SFV

My expectations were below bedrock but this show has a unique charm it brings each week. It's also pleasant to hear Earphones still surviving.

Tornado arcade playing reminded me of Arcade Gamer Fubuki, which is a pretty obscure reference nowadays, all things considered.

This episode really elevated the show for me above most recent "us otaku rite" shows, though Genshiken is still the best of all time.

Thought it was the same thing but another user said it originated in Game Center Arashi, which Arcade Gamer Fubuki is a spin off of. Both the tornado and the fire.

It may be from there, but Arcade Gamer Fubuki is not a spin off of that, it's a completely separate series that uses the same concept.

Show needs more naked Tamotsu.

...

Arisa pls

Yeah, I should have looked further into it rather than taking the post at face value. Still, I'm surprised they threw an Arcade Gamer Fubuki reference in.

Also, why did Arisa have to be T. Hawk? This is SFV, at least go with Karin. Even with how poor of a character he is, I have bad memories of getting dunked as Seth.

>shat on

They haven't shat on anybody.

So what are the odds of one of the girls wearing the meme sweater at one point?

They're gonna need to get with the times of meme apparel very quickly, they're still on the cat leggings.

Well, it's a spin off in a sense since, although it started as a standalone series that just had references to Arashi, they managed to actually include Arashi himself officially later, and the animated adaptation features him in the very first scene.

this series is shaping up to be a bunch of ads and fanservice

...

Mashiro is cute.

Next episode proudly brought to you by Intel, Microsoft, and Nvidia

Is this girl ever going to be an actual character?

>affectionately poking fun at enthusiasts
>shat on
woah dude, calm down

I'm not looking forward to this guy's episode, he creeps me out.

GET TO THE HALKO-CHAN ED
I'VE BEEN WAITING 10 YEARS FOR HER TO RETURN

11, obviously, going by order of appearance. Final boss will probably take up two episodes.

This is a great example of the series humor.

Electric Mayonnaise and friends!

>nikawa will never call you onii-chan

why live?

Will trains be the final boss?

Was it lazy or actually a good idea to use gameplay footage rather than animate the fights?

What the fuck is that animal thing in the background on the left?

It's a sheep.

both

SFV is still a pack of horse shit

If only more girls were honest like her

The golden age of 3S is over, man. It's time to move on. Isn't Ultra dead now too since most mainstream pros have moved on to SFV too?

All the rest seem like world wide hobbies but the whole radio scene really seems Japanese only.

I blame the attention hungry FGC whores who are desperate for E-fame to the point where they're helping awful games thrive when if they claimed to loved the franchise half as much as they claim too they'd be pushing something better that could use attention

there is any more arcade episodes in anime? i relly like that kind of episodes

That and tournaments. Tournies are going to switch to the latest installment (even if there are side tournies for older games) as their mainstays to pull in an audience and pros need to hop on that bandwagon. Forget 3S, I already miss Ultra at this point. Season 2 better have some incredible additions with these new characters.

Arcade Gamer Fubuki is entirely about it. High Score Girl too if you want manga.

i need pictures of cute girls in arcades!

2D fighters aren't interesting.

I can guarantee you that there is a amateur radio group in your area.

And just realized she is one of the main heroines in AT Festa, iirc this is the first time a character from another entry makes a guest appearance in the series.

>NO U

Podcasts

>it's SFV episode

i'll wait until Commie replaces the screens with SF4

I just watched the first episode. I like this guy. He takes things in stride

You mean 3S? How else are they going to appropriately replace Daigo whooping Justin Wong's ass with parries into super? Unless they find Evil Ryu footage of him chimping out with axe kicks and FADC.

Frankly Ive always been a KOF fan

I went in expecting Earphones service and maybe some decent ecchi, but it's managed to deliver on all fronts. One of my favorites this season so far.

The best ideas are those that increase quality while decreasing work.

I really want to get KOFXIV, but I'm not sure if I should get that or GGXrdRev2 first.

Is XIV as good as it looked to be in the EVO stream?

14 is a lot of fun. I like it a lot. But Rev2 looks cool too, and Baiken's back. Fuck that is a touch call.

Well assuming you have Rev1 already Rev2 is gonna be cheaper so there's that to consider

He probably thinks Galaxy Quest was a vicious demolishing of Star Trek fans.

Spaceballs is obviously a unadulterated beatdown of Star Wars, Star Trek and other sci-fi series.

By Grabthar's hammer, by the suns of Worvan, you shall be avenged.

Love that movie

Considering this is the RGZ director, I can't wait for the mecha and gunpla episode.

Who would have thought that anime, which actually are advertisements for companies would advertise things for those companies?

Wait, if Mayo can't get naked.... HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DRAW LEWD!

Clothed lewd, just push her panties to the side.

burg

...

that smug fuck in the middle

>No, onii-chan, it's MY harem!

>sexualizing Niwaka

Yes...YES

if these sunglasses work how they look and I think they work then I seriously want a pair

Those fertile hips

>Arisa checking out Tamotsu's naked body and liking it
>Niwaka casually looking at his penis
Is this a joke? The girls in the harem are perving on the male MC.
