Hey is a lot better than most pastors. Definitively better than the one at my local church. Still no man is perfect, and I disagree with a few of his opinions. Mainly the race mixing and polygamy ones. He is way off base. I listened to him talk about how Polygamy is wrong and his reasons were just completely wrong. There is nothing in the bible against polygamy at all. It is actually a law that you HAVE to be a polygamist in some situations.
He is obviously very prideful in his position and thinks he is right when there is no biblical base for some of his beliefs.

I think his polygamy sermon was pretty weak. He only had some good arguments. That being said I think polygamy is wrong.
When it comes to his "interracial marriage" sermon, he has almost no biblical arguments at all. He only has one argument about Moses' 2nd wife, and that's it. And he's actually being disingenuous with that argument, but the mainstream interpretation of Miriam being punished with leprosy is that she and Aaron tried to usurp Moses' leadership of the Israelites, and tried to use his 2nd wife as a scapegoat. But Steven actually uses this story as an argument in favor of race mixing which is ludicrous.
i personally think interracial/cross-national marriage is unbiblical and could point Pastor Anderson to many occasions where this is enforced and promoted. To begin with, he mentions the verses that teach that murderers will go to hell, but conveniently fails to include that last passage in that same verse, which says "...and all liars". The fact is that we all deserve hell. We are all sinners and deserve hell, that's a fact, but through faith in Christ, his righteousness is imputed unto us. The Bible is riddled with this fact all throughout the New Testament and even parts of the Old Testament.
And the biggest issue with Catholics who try to use James 2 as evidence, is that Paul uses the exact same story of Abraham being justified by works, and he adds, "...Abraham was justified by works, BUT NOT BEFORE GOD." But this video and Catholics in general don't want to touch that verse with a 10-foot pole, because it explicitly expounds on the exact same argument that James is using to explain that faith without works is dead in the eyes of man. But you could use James 2 ALONE without even referring to Paul, to show that the chapter is clearly teaching that faith without works is only dead in the eyes of man, because God can know your faith, men can not.

A few problems with your interpretation here. Yes, we are the heirs to God's promise to Abraham, and yes, we as Christians are a SPIRITUAL nation and a chosen people before God. We are not a physical nation. There are hundreds of nations around the world that God set up for us to live in. Leviticus is not referring to a spiritual nation or the chosen nation of God, it is referring explicitly to a "your own people".
Second: if you're saying that the Deuteronomy passage is true, God would be contradicting himself when he told the people of Israel in Leviticus to only marry a woman of their own people. I think the passage in Deuteronomy is a bit curious because it tells him to shave her head and stuff and that she still is a sort of slave. Not sure what to make of that. I'll keep on studying the issue.
