That's why you have so many accusations plopping up before elections, or when you want to get rid of someone (Assange for example). There are literally no drawbacks to this method: the women in question profit from media attention and collectivist sympathy, and will either not face any punishment (when their accusations couldn't be proven to be "real") or some laughable time in community service (when they are proven to have lied on purpose, regardless of wether their target was imprisoned as an innocent man already or not yet sentenced). -Moore was always a nutball and Paul Ryan hates him.

-The Allegations were invented to capitalize on this divide in the GoP because the Democrats have been getting obliterated in special elections all year.

-The RNC pulled funding, staff, and support from Moore in the middle of his campaign, giving the impression of cutting him loose. They also more or less said they would eject him from the Senate even if he won.

The result was Moore's voter base was demoralized and blackpilled, and the Democrats were outspending them by several times. The Democrats spent 50 million dollars on this Senate seat, which they will only get to keep until 2020.

This is not a "wave" or a serious reversal of fortune, it was fairly predictable and it became inevitable when MM pulled support from Moore. It has nothing to do with Trump--in fact, Trump looks better for this because he had originally backed Strange.

Getting the parent's permission to date their daughter is kind of the oldschool-way of doing it. For that you had to pay the parents a visit _in person_ and ask them directly. It's not enough when the potential girlfriend just claims to have the permission of her parents, so personal contact is necessary. Sure, most don't care about such things anymore, but it used to be normal even when you dated an adult girl. And yes, people have been calling adult women "girls" for ages, especially when in a dating-context.
