Stopped masturbating for 13 days now, on the verge of relapsing. I'm just hoping i can get triggered enough while browsing Sup Forums so i can get my mind off of it.

I went for a walk. Planned to go 5 miles, only went half a mile from the house before I got tired and turned around, so only 1 mile walk. I will go farther tomorrow.

Got my license at age 21. It's as emasculating as it seems. I don't even know how to drive a manual. I'm trying to improve my driving so I can help people out by giving them a ride, but I have a really hard time remembering to:

-Yield to pedestrians.
-Brake ahead of time (I wait for the last second. It makes my wife nervous).
-Leave turning indicator on BEFORE braking for a turn.
-Turning right on red.
-Telling how far away cars are either in my mirror or by looking out my window.

I'm sure all of this will improve if I keep practicing, wish me luck!

Eat less and count your calories.

Don't water fast, but only drink water. What tends to be most helpful if one desire to lose weight is to limit your diet to unprocessed, low fat foods. Things like Chicken breast, steak, brown rice, broccoli, carrots, grilled in olive oil. Experiment with spices, healthy food doesn't have to taste terrible. That being said, if used to high fat, high sugar foods, it will not taste as good as those. But if the goal is weight loss, you have to sacrifice taste to some degree.

Driving manual outside flat rural areas is irrelevant. I'm not saying that because "hurr rural" either. Modern American roads are not designed for manuals and have to constantly post signs for people to maintain certain gears.

90% of driving is muscle memory. The other 10% is completely out of your control (ie other drivers).

Get mirrors with the little upper corner mirrors that expose your blind spots. I don't know why its not a standard in most newer cars because most newer cars have HORRIBLE blindspots.

I absolutely hate driving. I can't understand how people are so comfortable driving around several thousand pound mechanical murder machines. If I lived in a small town, I'd be okay with driving. But in a city, I can't stand it.

you need to come to terms with the fact that losing weight takes time. You can just go on a diet and after some time be thin. You need to completely change your eating habits forever.

If you stop eating completely, you will lose a lot of weight, but will fuck up your body. Also a lot of that weight will be muscle.
Here is non meme way how to do it (since you obviously havent read sticky on /fit)
-google some site to calculate your basal metabolic rate (amount of calories you need to consume in order to maintain weight)
-find out how much you need, then substract 500kcal and eat that amount of calories every day
-it goes without saying you will have to start counting how many calories you consume each day. its a bummer at the beginning, but you will get the hang of it soon. and NO CHEATING
-also dont eat anything that has high fructose corn syrup in it (you will quickly find out that its in way too many foods). If you want to eat sweets, its better to eat food with normal sugar rather than artificial sweeteners. Aspartame is especially shitty for your body (but its in way too many things because its cheap)

also move your body. go to gym regularly, best way for it is to get some gymbro. That way if one of you loses his spirit, the other will help him to get back on track. If you are a fatass, dont feel embarassed in the gym. Most of the people are pretty cool (probably due to al the endorphines releasing) and they will secretly cheer for you because you started working on yourself. just dont act autisticly or cocky. either mind your own bussiness or be friendly in a non creepy way. and dont be affraid to ask anybody for help. Its better than doing some exercises wrong which may damage your body

Thanks for the advice. I have a 2015 base model Nissan Versa with no features, so it doesn't have the little mirrors. Maybe I can buy aftermarket ones that attach to the side mirrors.

I do, however, live in a flat, rural area. So maybe a manual would have some use for me?

It wasn't comfortable for me at first, but I like cars and where I live it's a necessity that I can drive one correctly, so I just decided that I would start enjoying it.

This may sound spergy as hell, but driving a car reminds me of mech animes, like where they suit up and get in so they can flip a bunch of random switches or w/e. There's something about having control over such a large, complicated machine that feels empowering. Even manipulating my AC without looking makes me feel like I'm in the Matrix.

There is no getting over the fact that it's dangerous though, but I'm a man and danger shouldn't be something I shy away from. Dying in a car accident is a far more pleasant outcome for me than living my life in a way where I can safely yet feebly help no one. I want to drive my future kids to soccer practice and shit, not quote arterial traffic accident statistics to them and let my wife take the wheel... Might as well castrate myself.

Suffered a spinal injury last year and couldn't deadlift for a long time. Now when I do I'm pretty damn scared. Even then, to me there is no life without deadlifts. I'm just going to be careful.

A big that's been helping me is just doing one thing at a time. I figure I've spent my whole life accumulating bad habits and things I need to improve, so I'm not going to be a new person over night. Find one thing and change it. Make it part of your routine. Once it's no longer that annoying thing you need to do and procrastinate, and becomes something you just do - then find a new thing to change and repeat.

Follow this method and over time you can build yourself up to be the person you want to be.

For conventional transmission though there is no debate that manual is more efficient and gives you finer control - to argue otherwise is just denial of the facts. Don't have any experience with hybrid but desu I think hybrid will be made redundant by full electric pretty soon, which is fine by me, no stinky carcinogenic fuel to pump, no heavy gearboxes to lug around, blistering acceleration, all good apart from the power draw for heating/aircon which still seems to be an unsolved problem.

Don't be afraid to aim high. Had a friend that was really into a lot of that stuff. Always tried to push him to take it to the next level and dream big. Just make sure you are also working hard on making it a reality.
