The age of the earth and the speed at which events happen to it, is measured in eons. in the thousands of years and tens of thousands of years. Humanity can't comprehend such an obscene timescale because we have incredibly short lifespans of 100 years on a good day.

We, in our incredibly short time on this earth, measured only in the thousands of years, are NOT a threat to the earth, which has been here billions of years.
