Trump losing most support in red States he carried in 2016

The regret is setting in heavily. There's really no reason to believe he will win 2020 if he's doing this badly less than a year in.

Chaos POTUS is best POTUS

>Believing polls and the media

It’s like you’re incapable of learning from the election.

>Texas blue in 2020
Alabama was the hard part. This is will be easy.

If the Democrats put anyone up that isn't Hillary, he is screwed. He got a lot of the Bernout votes simply because Hillary was just that bad. And he's been doing himself no favours lately only appealing to magapede cultists and angry boomers.

i was promised a wall

It's hard to achieve any victory when the narrative is Trump's versus the World
How many times do Republicans have to lose before you acknowledge that this is a bullshit argument?

If he loses it will be his own damn fault but I have to admit the GOP didn't help him that much too.

You won't get jack shit if you (meaning American right wingers) don't vote for your fucking candidate. The reason Moore lost is because half of all Alabamian Republicans didn't bother to fucking show up.

A lazy Republican electorate + Energized Dem voters = Midterm Disaster

What does a midterm disaster mean? It means that Trump's legislative presidency is rendered useless, and we won't see any significant long-term reform.

Or, use them to expose shareblue shills...

he will just legalize weed in 2019 and carry california

...

>If he loses it will be his own damn fault but I have to admit the GOP didn't help him that much too.
No, if he loses it's the fault of his voters for being lazy, gullible morons

Here you go-

approval and lead over a competitor are 2 different things. comcast is the number 1 isp in america. its also hated beyond a shadow of a doubt by at least half its users according to internal reviews with questionnaires

as long as the liberals try to use some tired old hag as their spokesman they will probably loose. warren or hillary is a bad bet for dems but they cant see that

Can we stop with this Shareblue shouting? It only serves to null us into a false state of security. It's this board's equivalent of leftists' Nazi hysteria

What are these sage threads trying to slide?

Possible. But the "sexual scandal" card can only be played once when it comes to republicans, and they played that with Moore. The next time that card is played, it will be seen for what it is. And we will be in another situation where people vote for the candidate just to piss off the system.

carter and hw bush both won reelection with less than 40% approval rating, also approval rating polls use shockingly small sample sizes with really bad datasets.

That's why they're probably going to run Biden or some other guy though. Even if they did run a woman, all she has to do is not be Hillary, and she can win. Hillary didn't lose just because she is a woman. She lost because of all the scandals surrounding her and Bill.

No it doesn't. This board gets hundreds of thousands of unique hits a day. Better that we inform new people about the David Brock/Soros shills here.

this is a convenient excuse, but Trump is ineffective either way desu senpai

carter lost re-election dumbass

>polls

Exactly... these are majority white states that didn't vote for him out of racial anxiety or economic populism, which is how he won the Rust Belt. They would've been happy with a Romney or Jeb Bush or any traditional Republican.

These states are just full of fall-in-line Republicans who'll vote for him again in 2020. Or maybe some won't... but they sure as fuck won't be voting for Democrats. So who cares?

and hw bush also lost re-election WTF dude what planet are you living in

cnn.com/2017/12/14/us/kentucky-state-lawmaker-death/index.html

He should start tightening the bolts and purging enemies of the state
t. 84% approval rating pro

Maybe he can turn it around like Macron if he fulfills his promisses.

oh shit its all over this time for real

and the markets are crashing, WWIII started, russiagate, etc

They have to lose the presidency and the house and senate majority, you nigger level retard. That’s when I’ll acknowledge that there is a shift, you absolute doofus.

...

>they have to win everything before I acknowledge there is a problem

You are a moron

So did Carter.
So did Bush.
>the absolute state of this board

the election pretty much never ended for the media and dems

a year later and they still cant come to grips with what happened

I could run out to nigville and ask them what they think of Trump and it's probably whatever the media they watch has told them to feel. That won't be indicative of the state's opinion as a whole.
Learn from history, dumbass. The pollsters are full. of. shit.

How can you be so stupid? The polls said there was 90%+ chance that Hillary would win. Were you stupid then too? Polls are just a propaganda tool.

>(((approval rating))) having any real effect on any thing at all

THE POLLS WERE FOR POPULAR VOTE

SHE WON IN THE POPULAR VOTE

THE POLLS ARE NOT ALL RIGGED HOLY FUCK

DON'T BE NULLED INTO COMPLACENCY AGAIN YOU IDIOT

>surveymonkey
in the garbage it goes

are you sure about that?

The main real conservatives voted for Trump was to defeat Hillary. Now that the witch is gone, they'll choose someone with a shittier platform but has better behavior.

Only time I was glad the polls was wrong was Moore.

Also He's talking national vote

hardly any polls were conducted here when compared to other states like florida, ohio, etc.

nobody expected trump to win in WI ergo he faced no opposition (she never campaigned here), and even then he got less votes than Romney

he said polls werent rigged, thats all i was replying to

>he thinks we believe (((polls)))

State polls are famously bad in what people consider non-swing states. Many states have been polled fine for years, but not Wisconsin because it normally isn't swing.

Its why the PA Trump surge was picked up in polling, but not WI.

>hardly any polls
>literally dozens of polls

cmon man, dont be brain dead

that's because they are for the most part a good indicator of the true results you idiot

I swear this (((Polls))) shit is shilling meant to lull us into a false sense of security

>2k less votes on 1.4M
wow

there were no polls taken the week of the election in Wisconsin. You are looking at the results from when Trump was still recovering from PUSSYGATE.

#Drain the Swamp was a LATE slogan if you remember. That did a lot in the Rust Belt.

i think these polls purposely over sampled Dems

1: The people who voted for Trump did so because he was the least-bad, not the most-good. They voted to preserve the white race. They will vote for him again when push comes to shove, because otherwise it's another anti-white president.

2: Losing all these special elections is more embarrasing - Trump winning blew the fuck out of shitlibs. Every republican who loses will be more embarrassment for republicans. If Trump loses in 2020, it will be the most humiliating thing ever.

Republicans better vote in 2018, or they will all be laughed at.

People are probably looking at what's going on and just seeing another Bush Presidency, selling our country out to Israel and kikes to start foreign wars no one cares about and not liking that. Trump needs to focus more on the principles that got him elected if he ever wants another term and start being a leader instead of a sellout

maybe go be braindead somewhere else

would you believe it??? Trump won because of depressed Democratic turnout and a more energized right wing.

IT'S ALMOST LIKE THAT'S EXACTLY HOW DEMOCRATS JUST WON ALABAMA, but ideologically flipped

Don't be Complacent. If come 2020 there is no wall, no arrests of deep state and dems, and no Muslim ban, he will lose to a communist. Guaranteed.

...

And I almost forgot- and he also better get through a voter ID system and start making voter fraud arrests.

Brought to you by the same people who, one day before election, said Hillary was ahead by 16%

Notice the 2 polls with the largest sample size were really really close, and the 2 polls with the the least were furthest from the truth.

It wasn't oversampled. Just not enough data overall.

He won't win 2020

...

the companies were also different, some were oversampling you can look into it if you want

see

Exactly, it wasn't rigged, but can be difficult for polling firms to determine how to sample their population.

The real "rigging" in the polling comes when the media picks an outlier poll and runs it in their cycle throughout the day. Usually this is a low Trump approval poll. They will always pick the lowest outlier. Same reason they lost the election, everyone besides a few individuals used the results where Trump was losing the most to make election predictions.

Well, I should say same reason they'd thought Hillary would win

He will start building the wall about a year before the next election

Just wait lol. Your arrogance will only lead to complacency.

We are coming

>an incumbent president losing

These people will go on and on about how the polls and elections are rigged while Democrats win in the House and Senate, making Trump a lame duck. They are completely and utterly useless to the electoral process, and are the reason why the Founding Fathers advocated a limited, yet informed electorate.

Do you know how bad you have to be doing at your job to get literal retard heroin addicted hicks to turn on you?

>who is Jimmy Carter

Besides, who gives a shit about 2020. If Dems take one of the two Congressional Houses Trump is effectively a lame duck. There's no fucking reason for this to happen considering that if Republican candidates won all the states Trump won, Republicans would have a 3/5ths majority in the Senate.

If we don't expand our reach in the Senate, there will be no wall. There will be no immigration reform. There will be no significant long-term legislative reform.

>pic related

Alabama demolished the myth of the "fall-in-line Republican". Apparently only half of voters care if conservatives win, the rest are "muh principles" cucks.

>polls say there was a 90% chance hillary would win
>90% chance
>chance

Do you understand how stats work lil niigro?

If I hand you a glass of water and say there is 95% chance it won't kill you instantly are you going to drink it?

Trump winning was very unlikely. Even Trump admitted that. It was an upset.

The only reason trump even had a chance was that Hillary was so terrible she almost lost among democrats to a non-democrat.

Trump, in my opinion, is a kind of the last gasp of the American right. He either fixes the whole country in one term issuing in 30 years republican rule, or he energinzes the left so much we end up with a socialist president.

People said the same thing about Obama.

>Fox +10 Jones

They must have been just making it up to try and get the Moore vote out.

This is "poll flogging" intended to demoralize. OP is a shill. Note he doesn't compare 2016 polls to today's polls. He compares actual results to today's polls, and then just assumes that the difference is due to a drop in approval more than the polling continuing to be retarded (as the 2016 election showed us).

>Trump, in my opinion, is a kind of the last gasp of the American right. He either fixes the whole country in one term issuing in 30 years republican rule, or he energinzes the left so much we end up with a socialist president.
I agree with you, which is why Alabamian's result is so chilling. People are that gullible to Democratic lies and sophistry.
This guy is right. "muh principled" Conservatives, particularly Christians, are some of the most gullible people I've ever fucking seen. If they aren't sufficiently scared of a truly left wing government (as opposed to a corporatist, internationalist B.O.) then we will get blown the fuck out in a Senatorial Election that should be a Republican blowout.

Well if he’d quit tweeting about jerbs and muh ek-Numik growth all the time and purge the commies from every level federal governance he might have a shot

I can imagine a member of the donor class reading that, accepting it as true, and then screaming "FUCK THAT FUCK YOU CUT MY TAXES NOW".

Donald doesnt have much political capital left after the healthcare debacle and he will get cucked in the courts hard on one of his issues any day now. He is running out of meaningless things he can do to get points, He cant even get the small victories of international agreements like obama did when he was unable to pass anything because he has alienated every single US ally except israel and Saudi arabia And he already made deals with them.

If the republicans lose the senate he will get desperate. I expect him to do some hardline shit on immigration through federal agencies that will just make the left even more angry and make latino voters follow black voters towards 99% opposition.

The difference is, not all polls were predicting the "likelihood" of a candidate winning.

Most polls just gauging support for each candidate, without extrapolating that into "X has a Y% chance of winning, and P has a Q% chance of winning." And if a poll determines that Hillary is +6 in Utah, and Trump takes the state without it even being close, that means that poll's sampling or methodology was off. If all the polls in the entire lead up to the election are indicating that Trump has far less support than he actually does, then there's simply something wrong with the polls. Trump's victory was not a chance-based occurrence in which some random factor was influencing the ballots to switch in unpredictable was. It was a result of the a combination of candidate support and voter turnout. That's it. If the polls are inaccurately gauging the amount of support a candidate has, then the polls are bad.

This is not complicated.

>Trump, in my opinion, is a kind of the last gasp of the American right. He either fixes the whole country in one term issuing in 30 years republican rule, or he energinzes the left so much we end up with a socialist president.
Which is exactly why I voted for him after Bernie lost. Anyone who has listened to Trump speak for more than 2 minutes will know he is half retarded - there is no way in hell he'll lead to anything other than a #bluewave. With the Republicans having had complete control over government for a year, they've tried to rip the electorate a new one with a corrupt tax bill, with a failed ACA repeal, and with scandals every fucking day. People are growing sick of the GOP and their pedo supporters. On the other hand, the Democrats are seeing that the progressive left is more powerful than before, which will lead to them going more left wing in the future. All around, a Trump presidency was the best thing that could have happened to America - the pendulum swings back hard.

Close, its a troll thread you dumb faggot

>trump losing suport in polls that said he would not win the election to begin with

This is what eventually happens to most populists. He might win a second term if Left tries the retarded "fuck you white people"-campaign again.

The sad reality is that the average republican is not a redpilled Sup Forumsack, but a gullible boomer. At least the ones in blue states realise how bad clown world can be. You can counter this by constantly contesting the frames of the MSM. Trump did this when he was a candidate by constatly holding rallies in which he could communicate his viewpoint to an audience of supporters and, more importantly, to journalists who will report on it. If Trump can get some momentum again during the 2020 election, he can shed a more favourable light on his policies and he can win most of them back.

He pretty much lost the Sauds after the Israel thing anyway so he only has Israel.

...

>You can counter this by...
I should clarify: I'm talking about the polls, not about typical boomer evangelicals being gullible.I don't think you can solve the latter, unfortunately.

>net approval
k

prog left, idpol has nothing at all in common with the left wing you fucking DSA shill nigger

Fuck your right. Wew greatest ally am I right.

This. Shill thread, let it slide, but i swear these people are fucking retarded. They learned nothing.

Bern it down sanders is the most traditionally left-wing thing we have seen in America in a while.

His main weakness was his inability to properly pander to specific racial groups in areas where racial politics is king(the American south).

Not sure about Utah specifically, but I dont remember any of trumps victories being super far past the margin of error.

Would love to se an example though.

>I will only acknowledge the fire when it has consumed my house and family, fuck this smoke alarm
Just keep on losing elections all over, dude, no need to get off your ass

There were more polls than just the national ones you retard.

>His main weakness was his inability to properly pander to specific racial groups in areas where racial politics is king(the American south).

His main weakness was to step out of the competition when Left demanded it. He would've been a much stronger candidate than Hillary for the simple reason that he promised bread and butter for the needy just as much as Trump did. At the end of the day voters only care about their empty bellies and wallets and you really shouldn't stray too far away from that theme when campaigning. Common people don't give a fuck about San Fran unisex bathrooms or microaggressions, they do give a fuck whether they have a job and can provide for their families or not.

In the end, one of them had to step back so that the Democrats could all support the other. Bernie didn't have a choice - Hilldawg had the entire establishment at her back. If the roles were reversed, though, and she gave him the stage, I don't really doubt that he'd win. Most Americans want to have an education system and a healthcare system similar to the 1st world countries in Europe. They're just suffering under a propaganda effort by a minority with too much money.
