I mean, if we put money in the hands of the poor, wouldn't they actually SPEND it in and put into the economy?
Imagine if we have universal basic income. Wouldn't businesses then be far more motivated to sell to a wider audience because almost everyone would be a potential customer?

Trickle up is Capitalism. Trickle down is Corporatism. Stabbing the fuck out of a container of water so it sprays everywhere while bird like subhumans gape and squak for a drop before half of it falls to the ground in waste is Socialism.

OP's logic give money to poor people so they can give it right back to the people who gave it to them?

>not living with 2 other brothers >each earning a minimum of $53k a year >an additional $30k a year in Cannabis sales >living with grandparents, rent-free >together, pooling $110k a year, to a common fund >having 7 digits figures by age 28 with brothers, accumulating wealth >all this without renting, debt, mortgage and being brainlets (no college [we are a trucker, mechanic and dispatcher])

I think he means just not taking so much money from them in the form of taxes, brainlet

Dropping money out of airplanes to the masses makes nobody richer and does nothing for capital formation.

No, poor people are enslaved by rich Jews. They're both intolerable and should be gassed.

maybe all these americans are poor because they have no industry, are being poisoned, are being propagandized to hate themselves, and have no hope.

I don't hate them. I was pretty close to being one. They're just insufferable in their current state. I wholeheartedly believe if we remove the Jews the poor will take their heads out of La-La-Land and stop voting for Hillshills. Maybe even the niggers.

Well, if jews didn't control the media, I think even that would be a huge first step in waking people up. Hopefully that's what the internet will do over the next decade or so. sucks to have to wait for the morons to realize every year things get worse, but I'm just looking to make the most of the current situation until then

49 Percent of all Walmart customers are on govt. Assistance. How's that trickle up working for you?

"trickle down" is the belief that if you let companies save more money, the employees will get paid more.
"trickle up," then, would be the idea that if you pay employees more companies will earn more money.
Not UBI, but rather higher minimum wage.
Mason Phillips
He's a mutt, what do you expect?

>"trickle down" is the belief that if you let companies save more money, the employees will get paid more. No it's not. It means that when there is more money in the country everyone's quality of life will improve. This money will turn into new opportunities to get ahead and prove yourself since there will be more people who have the cash to bet on you.

I wouldn't mind seeing a politician try to get in to the next tax repeal something that puts and incentive on businesses to increases wages on their employees and not such a huge corporate tax break. Say company A increases employees a's wages by $1 an hour after a year of employment. That employer will also have to pay employer taxes. So, they should receive a credit for say $2 an hour. There would have to be caps on this, etc. But dropping the corporate rate so much only increases company spending and not wages growth. I mean hell, employers are complaining these days about not being able to keep employees and having to spend more money on training new ones. Why not meet in the middle for all 3?

And it's worked in the past.

Why bother starting a business if you get universal income?
Gabriel Cooper
it's literally in the name. Instead of giving the poor money directly, if you let the rich have more money, it'll "trickle down" to the poor.
That's typically accomplished through tax breaks.

And it doesn't mix well with "too big to fail"

Let me propose a radical idea. How about letting the people who earn the money decide how they want to spend it.
