The Promised Neverland

If this gets an anime adaptation, which studio/staff you think it'll be the most suitable for the job?

madhouse

Asread.

WIT has done orphans in white uniforms before so probably them.

WIT

...

shaft

Ufotable will step up.

I don't know but whoever it is better do Emma justice because she's too damn cute to mess up.

Not the studio that did one piece that's for sure, most overrated adaptation ever

IG
Madhouse/Mappa
Bones

>Shaft
>Capable of anything post Monogatari

>Fate shit: The Studio

will turn the orphanage into a fucking victorian church and every 5 seconds will be littered with pointless shots that adds nothing to the overall narrative whatsoever.

will make you think something will happen in the next episode for sure but then by the end you'll have realize you just simply watched an SoL that just looked like something else. In addition to that, every single character will move their hands the same way Koizumi does in Haruhi.

Adobe After Effects

WIT

"liberal" adaption (rearranging scenes and events to work for film and animation): Ishihama

"faithful" adaption (i.e being a dialogue fest): I dunno, someone unermarkable but solid like Morio Asaka probably

new chapter spoilers when???

spoiler.net/spoiler/eq.1-the-promised-neverland-chapter-26
>The rope has been confiscated.
>Emma's injury will take at least 1 to 2 months to heal (well seems her leg has really been broken)
>Mama wants Emma to be totally healed for her birthday.
>Rays says that mama intended to break emma's leg for the very start. It was Mama's plan as she brought bandage.
>Emma and Ray are trying to find of a way to save Norman. And (not sure about this part) but Ray things that Norman is not willing to escape, now)
>Norman thinks that if ihe escapes, now, Ray and Emma will pay the price.
>Also security has been reinforced.
>He thinks that he will die tomorrow if he doesn't escape, but if he escapes everyone else will die. Also they can't escape together due to Emma's broken leg.
>But norman swears he ll do anything to ruin mama's plan during his remaining time.
>Ray and Emma came to to norman & said to him : "Escape tomorrow, by yourself"

I dunno. NUT got a good standing so far.

My major fear is that aside from the first chapters hook, it's relatively low-action. It's a thriller, I get it, but that's just a concern I have.

Toei only focuses on the moneymakers. One Piece, Dragonball, Pretty Cure, and I think they also do the Sentai series. Not sure.

good lad

>NUT got a good standing so far.
Please, no duckfaces or ayyyy lmao's in my psychological horror.

Madhouse or Production IG

the one and only Deen

Keep in mind it's only the main characters who are designed like that. Everyone else is Madhouse-tier.

>psychological horror
I'd call this is keikaku-kei manga

If Demizu is allowed to go all out when they get outside then maybe it will become horror adventure

>Please, no duckfaces or ayyyy lmao's in my psychological horror.
But Neverland have duckfaces in the manga

Fuck you too.

>beautiful looking Fate shit: The Studio
Fixed.

They will not touch this, but they might actually pull this off as there are not much action to fuck up anyway.

Of course I would take anything over Toei.

Wit Studio
>Shingeki no Kyojin
>Kabaneri
>Owari no Seraph
It's right up their alley.

NagaiPro

>overrated
But everyone who's not autistic knows it's shit... Right?

>Ray things that Norman is not willing to escape, now
Fucking knew it.

I know waifu is important and all but he can't help her if he's dead. He's a smart kid, hope he'll figure it out.

this one by far. also, the same staff that made Shingeki (I dont want another Kabaneri this time, wich means Ishihama as storyboard director.)

So will Norman die?

I doubt it, personally.

except if they really tried they might actually do a good job with it.

they're like literally the only studio left that does traditional storyboarding, the only thing that's holding them back is their animation.

I was hoping they all die and they take the girl to mama school and we go into characterization city, but the interview with the authors made it seem like the next arc will be about the outside world so who knows

>they're like literally the only studio left that does traditional storyboarding
what the fuck does this mean and why did you make it up

>they're like literally the only studio left that does traditional storyboarding
?

I actually think this series would look good if it took on Trigger's Kiznaiver artstyle

it means the script is made alongside the storyboard, you can notice this if you tried.

Every other animation studio designates the script to a writer while someone else does a storyboard that goes along with it.

You can notice Deen doing this whenever you see a visual gag that can't have been done if the storyboard was separated from the script.

ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/昭和元禄落語心中#.E3.82.A2.E3.83.8B.E3.83.A1
what were you talking about again?

You're only just supplementing what I had just got done saying, why are you trying to start shit? Did you hope that you would have thwarted something by posting a source in a different language or something?

DEEN does the same thing.

Because it costs too much time and money, most studios has forgone the old tradition of how they used to do storyboards, where it goes along the script. Modern animation nowadays (both in the west and in the east) does the storyboard seperated from the script to save on time.

Early seasons on Spongebob, for example, has been done with the old method of storyboarding. This is why the early episodes has so many visual gags because a part of their storytelling goes into the animation. the later seasons separated the script from the storyboards, which is why if you looked at an episodes, most of their jokes come entirely from the script itself and the animation just does a goofy face or some shit.

In Deen's case, most of their comedy concentrated shows like Sakamoto desu ka and Konosuba has visual gags sprinkled in almost every episode, which is an indicator that they still do some method of traditional storyboarding.

It's not that he made it up, if you had an ounce of knowledge of this (which you don't, considering you had to ask) you would've noticed it yourself, unless you don't watch Deen shows out of spite or something.

Studio that can draw emotions.

you said "other studios designate a separate writer and storyboarder"

deen does exactly this. scripts in TV anime are always, and i really mean always, done separately and before the storyboards.

that's why i was wondering why you'd come here and make shit up without having any source.

literally everything in your post is false. why are you doing this? is this famicom syndrome or something?

>literally everything
>youtu.be/axAa8JLGV4o?t=311
>cartoonician.com/the-oral-history-of-spongebob-squarepants/
Sakamoto desu ka had an entire segment in an episode where no one said a single word, so that would imply that most of the narrative was driven more by the storyboard than the script, would it not?

Even if I was wrong about that, it's clear that their storyboarding itself does entail some storytelling by itself. And not just Deen, Studio Bones back during the 2000s has done this as well. In FMA 2003 you can see instances where characters will just do some pointless shit for no reason other than to have something to look at while someone else talks.

Why do people say something someone said is false without actually knowing why, only to get blown out?

>a studio that up to this point is known for poorly done action anime
>give them a manga with next to no action that's focused on Psychological interplay between the cast

I swear it has to be one single retard who keeps bring them up in every thread

>Sakamoto desu ka had an entire segment in an episode where no one said a single word, so that would imply that most of the narrative was driven more by the storyboard than the script, would it not?
this has nothing to do with production process

>characters will just do some pointless shit for no reason other than to have something to look at while someone else talks.
yeah, it's called attention to detail. it's a function of quality, not process.

there is absolutely no difference between the TV anime production process at deen and any random studio. if you knew about how the anime industry works, you'd understand this immediately because when they have to outsource ENTIRE episodes to another studio or even korea, the workflow has to remain exactly the same for them to coordinate it.

This. They even fucked up SnK by turning it into a dumb action anime. For something like Neverland you really need to find a director that good at staging set pieces with slow pacing not a studio to make the big moments hit hard, Kazuhiro Furuhashi would be a right fit for it but someone like Araki would make it almost as bad as the Death Note adaptation.

>a studio that up to this point is known for poorly done action anime
Not him, but
Are you blind?

>this has nothing to do with production process
what I said about Sakamoto wasn't even said to relate to production process, one user said that everything I said is false to which one of them being "sakamoto kun has visual gags" to which I replied that they literally had an entire segment that was nothing but visual based comedy.

>there is absolutely no difference between the TV anime production process at deen and any random studio. if you knew about how the anime industry works, you'd understand this immediately because when they have to outsource ENTIRE episodes to another studio or even korea, the workflow has to remain exactly the same for them to coordinate it.

Are you trying to say they outsource the storyboard and script itself to other studios? The only thing being outsourced is shit like inbetweens. Are you sure that even you know how the anime industry works? That aside, even IF they did storyboarding and their scripts differently from other studios, that would literally have no impact in outsourcing their shit.

>fucked up SnK by turning it into a dumb action anime.

>Watching SnK for its political story
>Ever

Also chapter 26 Gook scans
wasabisyrup.com/archives/30ohSe9RlVU

WIT's fighting choerography is literally just shaky cam and people running at each other but the camera makes it look 'cool'.

this
name another studio that has done even half as many "psychological" anime as madhouse

>The only thing being outsourced is shit like inbetweens
that depends on the episode. some episodes of anime are almost completely outsourced, a lot of them often have multiple storyboarders across different studios and multiple episode directors as well. inbetweens are outsourced pretty much every time, for every episode, at every studio.

the methods across the anime industry are very homogeneous because of the way in which the talent distribute themselves across it. this is why the switch to digital took so long, for example. there's no difference between deen and any other studio.

And?
Just ask ordinary studios like JC staff, Deen, Doga Kobo, Silverlink or some shit if they can.
Only Bones, IG, Sunrise, & Madhouse can tops WiT in action anime.

That scene with Norman and Emma would be really cute if she wasn't imagining him dying and he wasn't about to be shipped off.

>WIT defenders

I will never get tired of posting this. How can you faggots be so retarded? WIT has not made a single good anime since they started why are there so many people dickriding them?

>poorly done action
>snk and kabaneri top tier action

chose one, fucking blind idiot

you are just a poor idiot who hates the mainstream. yes kabaneri had a lame plot, but the action was the best last year so learn to live with that

other studios don't matter, the matter is that WIT's fighting scenes is not even that good.

Don't try to derail this.

>but the action was the best last year
I don't remember a single action sequence from Kabaneri and apparently nobody else did given that it lost out to Mob Psycho and My Hero Academia

See I'm not Wit fag, but saying wit as bad action anime studio is just plain wrong since roughly 80% of the current industry studios only doing SoL and can't do action anime for shit.

Besides, that scene is alright.

>but the action was the best last year so learn to live with that
Learn to live that you're wrong and that nobody will agree with you. The best part is that you can't even claim that WIT has consistency because all their productions fall apart.

>saying wit as bad action anime studio is just plain wrong since roughly 80% of the current industry studios only doing SoL and can't do action anime for shit.

>WIT is a good action anime studio because everyone else is not doing action!
>someone typed this

>but saying wit as bad action anime studio is just plain wrong since roughly 80% of the current industry studios only doing SoL and can't do action anime for shit.

These two love him so much

>WIT's fighting scenes is not even that good.
Compared to?
You do realize you can't judge something without even compare it to the other right?
Post your best action scene then, since you seem to have very high standard.

>from Bones
Please read my replay again

>You do realize you can't judge something without even compare it to the other right?
please tell me you're just pretending to be retarded

>Compared to?
Everything in MOB and OPM

>all these errors
how old are you?

>I-i-i-i-i-it doesn't count

Are you done?

>I can judge without knowing shit
Seriously? And you brave enough to calling the other retard?

>pretending to be another user

you've got to be kidding me

This shouldn't get any anime.

The same as your mom

Not even close

>pretending to be another user
Nope that's me. Why should I?

is your butt-frustrationg just going to get you to reply to every single user who talks to you?

Also, you have to be 18 or older to browse Sup Forums.

>timestamp
jesus fucking christ dude, are you seriously trying to pretend to be two different people or something?
>Why should I?
should you what? You're beginning to not even make sense anymore.

>One user shilling WIT and then proceeds to hide his samefaggotry

is it the same faggot who's been plaguing the Boku no Hero threads?

denying the great work from WIT is simply idiocy. or you just watched like 1 minute of first episode:

Still waiting on you to show us this great work
