One of the anime problems is definitely there are too much characters. Jaden got too much rivals and in the end, some characters got shafted and completely forgotten. Bastion/Misawa is the prime example.

I like the six element fusion E-Heroes. I don't think the manga ever explains it, but Gaia just needs one Earth monster and any E-Hero to make.
