>Naruto is dead
I wish

No next "Big 3" there won't be a shonen succesful anime about super powers since generations are changing and now everything is digital eventually manga will die

it's SAO, OPM, and One Piece

One Piece
Haikyu!!
Attack on Titan

OPM, One Piece and HxH

We clone Oda a couple times and release 3 One Piece chapters a week.

There won't be one. The "big 3" isn't some perpetual role held in manga, it was just a coincidental circumstance.

There is no big 3 that will follow the Dragonball style way of storytelling

Shonen jump is now just shooting blanks, trying to dig up bland ridiculous story premises and turning them into short series which they can exploit for short term gain and then said series tapers off and is dropped. That's how it's gonna be.

The only series to have reached the same level of hype as those three has been Attack on titan so far and OPM to a smaller extent.

HxH is probably my favorite shounen ever but it can't be big 3 if we only one chapter every couple years.

Black Clover and Shougeki no Soma. They are trash, but they will fill the spot.

Hero Acedemy
Shokugeki no Soma
And Black Lagoon
(New volume is gunna come out anytime now, right guys? Right?)

Naruto isn't dead, Bort is gonna be eaten up by the narutards out there including me desu

SAO and Attack on Titan were the successors to the big threes ease of entry into the anime world. Next probably OPM, Who knows after that. It's all just timing anyway.

Yeah, but every time Togashi releases a chapter the whole internet becomes a clusterfuck.

>Sans magnum trium, the shonen community will be torn asunder, and then it shall be free. The chain of seasonal popularity is what will truly bind this fandom together as one.

HunterxHunter also sells more than Bleach has for years.

One Piece
My Hero Acadamia
????

Black Clover will be looked back on as a literay masterpiece, mark my fucking words.

>SAO
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Who the fuck watchs/reads that retarded shit?

Millions of people read and buy One Piece

Dragon Ball Super
Attack on Titan
Boruto

Dragon Ball Soup and Naruto GT are beating a dead horse, and don't even get me started on SAO

Dragon Ball Soup and Naruto GT is all we watch in South America

We don't care about Wan Piss autism.

DUBS DECLARES

>jojo
>one punch
>SnK

>My Hero Acadamia
nice meme

it'll be lucky to sell as many total copies as toriko

Umnn The peak of Toriko volume sale is only 500k and that's with the help of long running anime and shit ton of advertising. MHA peak per volume sale is 650K with only 1 cour to back it up. Toriko is nothing compare to MHA
t.mhafags.

Forget the video. Have you seen Gigguks girlfriend. Holy shit m8.

instagram.com/p/BFfNVIYihtM/?taken-by=sydsnapp

as much as Sup Forums hates it... it's very popular outside of Sup Forums.

Confirmed

I never liked Toriko. Wonder why Shounen jump decided to back the fuck out of Toriko....

Well if your not such a fucking millennial you will understand why they push toriko so much.

snk is attack on titan?

Fact: It will be Dragonball Super, Boruto, & One Piss. Any of the other shit is irrelevant, attack on titan/OPM is not at the level of worldwide popularity as these three. Honestly i don't know who the fuck can watch the autistic crap that is One Piss.

Shingeki no kyojin, yes SnK is atack on titan

>One Piss
I just want to know the secrets and the ending, I wasted too much time to jump out the boat

you knew when you picked it up that it was gonna drag on for eternity

Let me know when it has over 200 episodes.........................................................

Stop with the ...

Bort's art is getting pretty okay

Like it's an abortion by monthly standards but at least it's not actively funny to look at anymore and the fights are cool

This.

Boku no Hero Academia is the final swan song of classic action shounen. Bridging the gap by taking everything people generally like about those stories and trimming the fat to modernize it. However, it will never be the hit that its forebears were.

>attack on titan/OPM is not at the level of worldwide popularity as these three
the first season of the snk anime was definitely normalfag level popular worldwide and the manga is the second best selling franchise in nipland after one piece

south american opinions matter

cant wait for the wall so you can keep your tastes away from us

>Ctrl+F Fairy Tail
>0 of 0

I'm shocked no one mentioned it. How is it not? It has a big fanbase, every shonen trope under the sun, and a fuckload of episodes.

HXH

DESU I don't think there'll really be anything that'll replace the big 3. Anime studios find interesting anime and just do 12 episode seasons nowadays. The closest to a non-stop running show is probably Jojo, and I don't lurk enough to say if it's up there in fandom.

Please tell me Naruto is actually dead. The manga ended like 50 years ago and somehow the anime is still going on and I keep hearing mentions of spinoffs.

haha good one

they still make anime and video games based on saint seiya thirty years after it ended, they'll keep milking narutards dry even after everyone here died

God tier OST.

The big 3? Bleach was popular for like 2 chapters.

There being no more Ultimate Ninja Storm games will make me sad. I hate Naruto with a passion but the UNS games have great mechanics compared to most other anime games.

THIS LUST FOR REVENGE!!
WHOOO!!

It doesn't help that Jump doesn't want to actually cultivate anything that could be worth a solid fuck.

I don't think there will be another Big 3

One Piece will keep chugging along, but Bort is a monthly, Black Clover and Hero Academia are no where near as popular as their predecessors, and Dragon Ball Super seems to more beating a dead horse than return to form.

SnK, OMP, SAO and most other series mentioned in this thread don't really count, because they tend to me more contained and constrained stories instead of "700 Chapter and a decades long anime adaptations" that defined the big three

The Age of Battle Shounen is over

The Age of Isekai light novel adaptations and entry level monthly Seinens has begun

jojo is the only big guy here

-One Piece
-Hero Academia
-Black Clover

Top 3 will be
1. Jojo
2. One Piece
3. Shokugeki No Soma (I hope SnS makes it to the very top)

DBS will overtake One Piece in top watched shounen anime. Sadly no one will ever beat Naruto's popularity since we are going to get Boruto next. Hunter x Hunter had the opportunity to take it to the next level. But the Mangaka is dying slowly so it's just going to die off unless he finds a successor.

No Hero Academia is shit and if it's the best the new generation has to offer then it might as well stop trying.

one of them is Boku no hero

still waiting for the other 2 to appear
easily black clover as soon as the season is aired, but it has a bad reputation already

cant think about a third one

JoJo, Kinnikuman and Dragon Ball Super.

Greetings fellas, i heard you were looking for some' big 3 material.

it sold 80 million+ volumes

the only jump manga that sold more in the history of the magazine are slam dunk, kochikame, naruto, dragonball and one piece

none of the current shit series like hero academia or black clover will approach these numbers

We don't have any major shonen at the moment that can really draw attention. Trying to imitate Naruto or One Piece only causes people to compare the original to the successor, ultimately preventing it from developing an identity of its own. What they need to replace the three is a fresh enough series that doesn't feel familiar, has a consistent release schedule, and appeals to young people.

this won't surpass the 100 chapter mark. It's already approaching its middle series at 40 or so chapters.

it's really good, thought.

Taking into account that the AoT clones didn't sell well. I would say that the next big 3 will be all isekai esque shit.

does Isekais work at all in manga? I've never seen a big Isekai series. (apart from the Gamer, but that's korean and barely an isekai)

I just want a new shonen with super powers and the power of magic and kawaii friendship with tons of tits is that too much to ask?

Why do people keep mentioning SAO? Isn't it dead and without an anime atm?

I' so grad Attack on Trains was buried, they didn't even try to be discreet about it, even brought fucking Sawano on board.

Read highschool DxD.

Just having come back from Japan, and basing this on what I've seen DenDen & Akihabara:

Wan Piss is fucking massive as fuck
JoJo is also crazy
DB Super

See, people keep choosing anime that were popular, rather than ones that are popular. While Bleach did fall off much sooner than the others, they all managed to retain their popularity for quite a long time. This helped by being part of a weekly manga, which gives people a constantly updating story throughout the year. Anime and LN can take an unknown amount of time, making it harder to maintain popularity during dry spells.

Honest question here.
Dragonball was "The big one"
Then these three were the "Big 3"
Why does everyone assume it's gonna be another 3?

Fist of the North Star and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure were pretty damn popular at the time, too. Though FotNS ended some time before the peak of Jojo's popularity, so they weren't really a Big Three for very long.

>>Naruto is dead

People want to cram everything into their manga worldview.

Big 3 was a thing/concept that everyone liked, so of course they need/want to find another 3 manga so they can keep having a Big 3.

>The Gamer
>Isekai
HAHAHAHAHA!
Isekai means other world. You're literally a retard for thinking it even barely qualifies as an isekai story.

Because Kubo is retarded. No one cared about Yhwach, all we just wanted was more Aizen.

well, instead of going into another world and gaining gamer-like abilities (the most common trope with isekai) he uses gamer-like abilities in his world.

There was never any stipulation for what it means to be apart of the big 3,
>Does it have to be manga?
>Does it have to be in JUMP?
>Does it have to be shonen?
>Does it have to be weekly?

Honestly I would have to the best current 3 manga the closest represent the former would be
One Piece
Boku No Hero
Black Clover

But with no definition its impossible to say, Beach, Naruto and One Piece were all very unique in how they came about to a western audience.
Even though I did make a list its probably best to say that there isn't a big 3 anymore
The overseas market is big enough now that we don't limit our self to just 3 shows anymore.

yes, but isekai is another world. There are tonnes of stories with people getting game like abilities without them being considered isekai.

One Piece
Haikyu
My Hero Academia

Extremely good sales and rankings.

>Jojo
Not a part of the WSJ lineup.

Han is the only one with "game abilities" as far as ive read, and its not even that he has game abilities, thats just the way his power manifested, everyine else has spiritual martial arts or summoning, for instance, it literally isnt isekai

Probably right now it would be

>Fairy Tale
>One Piece, since it's still around

And idk about the third one, maybe JoJo?though im sure Berserk would take the spot easily if we could get a proper ongoing anime for it

There won't be another Big 3. All the various opinions in this thread about what the new Big 3 is/should be proves this. It would be obvious.

Big 3 is the name given to the top 3 in Jump Magazine.

Right now,

Haikyuu!!
One Piece
Kimetsu no Yaiba
Black Clover
Boku no Hero Academia

Are battling for that spot.

HxH is my favorite too but i fear I must agree.

Haikyuu
Boku No Hero Academia
*still waiting for the third*

Shokugeki no Souma can't be, that shit ain't selling, expect it to be cancelled soon enough.

Isn't FT also nearing its end?

There is no big three

When there is another big three or whatever number it's fucking obvious what they are

Let's change gears. What are some series's that SHOULD have been one of the next big 3, but started/ended too early or people had shit taste and didn't apperciate them

pic related

I got so bored of attack on titan.

>all these non shounen jump manga
retards

no, snk is the sound wolverine makes.

that's not entirely true. death note belongs to it to

when did that happen?

One Piece
Hero Academia
Haikyuu / Black Clover

Even then, it'll take another 5+ years of consistently locked-in popularity for the two newcomers to be "Big".

>Boruto
How's that doing? Naruto would have regular threads here even during the periods of maximum hate, but I'm not seeing Boruto that often.

>Kimetsu no Yaiba
Waffling. Until it hits stride with a solid arc, there's no way it can play in the same field as Hero Academia or One Piece. Solid concept though.

why is bleach even there? and why do you call that fuck nugget a succesful aniome about powers since generations are changing and now everything is digital? and manga wont die this is just some noob shit that you don't even research

Hinomaru Zumo is still in the running but for some reason not so popular.
