Art is usually way inferior and the few ones that have good art have awful stories and panel use, but i do appreciate how in most of them they just straight up fuck.

I find manwa plots more interesting than most manga.

But the execution is usually generic.

I've never seen a good one, but then again I've never really looked.
If you include Webtoons there are a handfull of good ones I've found mixed in with some of the worst works of art ever made.

you're risking a ban

Sometimes its decent, most time its just generic plot

>do drugs
>get powerful
>do more drugs
>get more powerful

Literally chinese staple.

As for korean shit its >muh realism. Filled with NTR inducing shit.

I liked Feng Shen Ji very much.

What are some manwha with NTR? I want to take a break from Japanese pure girls.

Manwa or Manha(OP pic)?
There are a few good one of both, even in the webtoon format (4-Cut Hero and Tamen no Gushi), but most is just shit.
Also I like to ironically read ToDaG on manga fox without ad-block for maximum trash.

You forgot
>make some bitch suck your cock once
>call him your brother
>give him potion/techniques alimony for life

I read DICE, Tower of God, Noblesse, God of Highschool and City of Dead Sorcerer.

DICE lost its spark somewhere along the way, but got it back in The Lovers arc.

Tower of God midway through season 2 became repetitive as fuck, recently answered some questions, but still boring.

Noblesse I read more for the battles and comedy.

God of Highschool I read mostly due to the battles, but it also has some pretty fucking amazing scenes. I think I liked it mostly because it is a misture of Dragon Ball with Saint Seiya and Jojo.

Dead Sorcerer is my favorite by far, but I curse the translations being so fucking slow.

Guilty pleasure: Crepuscule.

Like, nearly everything with the Adult tag.
Only Sweet Guy and Sports girl don't have it.
Seriously, for gook slut heroine is japanese normal heroine, and I don't mean a non-pure heroine, I really mean a slut.

Can you even discuss it on Sup Forums? The only thing I've read that isn't manga is The Breaker. It was alright.

Not Sup Forums-related.

>I've never seen a good one, but then again I've never really looked.
Since this thread just seems to be talking about "stuff that's Chinese and/or Korean and just not Japanese":
>Blood and Steel
>Shin Angyo Onshi
a.k.a the only important SAO
>Feng Shen Ji
like the user posted below
>Red Storm
>Killer
>The Honorable Baek Dong Soo
>Veritas
>Dear Boy
are some good ones. Along with the other ones posted ITT
That's why you spoiler images
Some of his stuffs close enough I think it should get somewhat of a pass.
I thought OP was talking about
>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manhwa
rather than
>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manhua
Either way
>Feng Shen Ji
my nigga.
Manhwa like Shin Angyo Onshi at least is also counted as manga. And if this isn't strictly Sup Forums, Sup Forums then?

...

80% of the generics are complete trash. Webcomics with long panels are shit.

But rarely do we see a couple of rare gems that are somewhat better than most manga in either art, story or both.

>The Breaker
>Shin Angyō Onshi
>Need a Girl
>Immortal Regis/Cavalier of the Abyss

I haven't been following manwha for a while now that either it's on hiatus, not being regularly released or completed so I'm not sure what are the good ongoing ones but the list I made are the ones I previously enjoyed the most. A shitty manwha either goes for the generic tropes of manga or tried too hard that it's shit.

"A certain person said, "In the Saint's mausoleum there is a poem that goes:
"If in one's heart
He follows the path of sincerity,
Though he does not pray
Will not the gods protect him?"
What is this path of sincerity?"
A man answered him by saying, ''You seem to like poetry. I will answer you with a poem.
As everything in this world is but a sham,
Death is the only sincerity.
It is said that becoming as a dead man in one's daily living is the following of the path of sincerity."
-Yamamoto Tsunetomo, The Hagakure

...

...

Depends
A lot of them I found are really lazy and rely solely on lewdness
There's a few exceptions, like The Breaker and Red Storm
is also p. good

>there are few good ones like the breaker, feng shen ji, veritas
>99% of their doujin is NTR
i dont understand gook. when are we getting new season of the breaker? please dont end up like veritas

try Bastard

Kinda surprised so many people know about Feng Shen Ji

If you want the best rage fap of your life, read Drug Candy. Especially at the end.

Ravages of Time is fucking great and the only chinkshit aside Feng Shen Ji that I'd read.

OH BOY 2 IMAGES PER PAGE? WHAT IS THERE NOT TO LOVE?

Cancer of all manga sites

porn

We don't mention Veritas on Sup Forums.

The only one I read and I liked it was Priest.
I was very shocked and depressed when it got cancelled

that can't possibly be anything but japanese.

It's Chinese.

Most of them can't comprehend shading and how to structure from panel to panel.

Blood And Steel is the GOAT.

Some are retardedly terrible.

Outside of the popular works already mentioned like Shin Angyo Onshi I really liked Zippy Ziggy, great comedy with a scum protagonist,
since the industry made the transition to webtoons it's 99.9% trash, even the ones that start decent turn into trash.

Isnt it because all koreans read their cartoons on their phones?

That only explains the single strip format, not the deviantart tier skills or the shit paneling.

ok!

I really enjoy parts of Cavalier of the abyss and immortal regis. They have some really weak parts too and a tendency to overload you with pretty much inconsequential characters, but Nex is a cool guy who didn't do anything wrong and the art is (normally) good.

I feel like manwha in general is way less consistent than a decent manga, and they all make similar pacing errors or introduce an overlarge cast.

Witch hunter has some ok moments as well, sort of a guilty pleasure I guess but I do not follow it closely. It started interestingly, gave me a serious early d.grayman vibe which I liked.

At some point every manwha story seems to just go off the rails and never quite make sense again, though.

We need more knight run.

Fairytale for the Demon Lord?

Are there any good romance Manwa?

>not using full chapter view and scrolling

Why the fuck would i load 20-40 pages separately when i can do it all at once?

Especially since it works well with both long panel and 2 page spreads

>romance
This is a thread for the static image, fuck off back to your j-dramas

The only Korean one I've read was By Chance, We...And... I thought it was pretty good, but I'll definitely say I've read better

same as with manga: few excellent ones and a load a shit

Korean manwa always has some NTR, so I tend to avoid them.

>Originally good novel adapted to comic
>it's done in some retard kids cartoon style with a shit illustrator
>plot is for novel so the pacing is shit
entire thing ruined

>their entire world is just a lesser one and all the characters from the beginning are entirely forgotten once he leaves.

I love xianxia stories despite their flaws but the adaptions are just awful and don't do em justice.

Chinese Manga --> Manhua
Korean Manga --> Manhwa
Korean Webcomics
Japanese Manga

Your pic is clearly the Tales of Demons and Gods adaptation, it's a manhua not a korean manhwa.

This, though Mad Snail is amusingly better off drawing his manhua than writing more chapters. It's the one big advantage he has over most manhua novels since even if they do get adapted it usually looks like dog shit.

Post yfw the latest ISSTH chapter

I can't stand them myself either, the source material is always better because they often tone down the violence and language in the adaptations. Some of them even diverge from the source's plot entirely.

The only reason I bothered to look up Perfect World's adaptation was to see how Shi Hao looked like.

It's mainly there for the art and help you visualize the characters. Given how chinks pad up their word count with copypasta descriptions MUH SKIN LIKE SNOW BONES LIKE JADE, seriously how the fuck do you tell someone's bones look like jade? Is it radioactive green with neon glows?. In the particular case of Tales, the author himself is drawing the comic so it's as canon as it gets design wise. Heck he even retconned Xiao Ning'er's hair color cause he probably realized how boring black would be when the other girls are violet.

>entirely forgotten once he leaves

I'm sure that's part of why he has such long breaks, probably can't figure out an excuse to go back to tiny world. But honestly even before the main cast left it was already pretty bad given how the only two people who recognized the Ancestor was the City Lord and his brother, how the fuck does that make any sense? You'd think such a attention whore like Ye Yan would be bothering Ye Mo first chance he gets.

I'm wondering if he will need to use his second life or if he can save it for Dao Realm tribulation. And also wondering what turtle's real level is. Everyone calls him an Immortal, but that fucking turtle is practically on parrot and meat jelly tier of invincibility.

>no mention of Ares

you people sicken me with your shit taste in manwa

Even though it was crazy, it was expected he was going to pass through.

Friendly reminder that there are only 314 chapters left before DeathBlade finishes ISSTH

So, yeah get ready for him to breeze through the ancient realm and dao realm, and some other end boss shit.

Which series are you even referring to? Xian Ni or Tales? Cause honestly both are about as good as chink webcomics get, aside from their overall lower quality they naturally have a different and more centralized/homogenized sense of aesthetics.

Imagine if weeb shit was purely based on their folk lore, how bland and boring would that be? That's how 90% of chink shit works.

The only thing you can argue is they lack the smut porn of gook webcomics and tend to turn all their webcomic adaptations into PG13.

When they say bones like jade they mean white jade, as in spotless bones that are free of impurities. You get the idea if you've read enough xianxia/xuanhuan

My personal theory is reliance was the mount of Lord Li and is from "outside the mountain and seas" like he is supposed to be. Which I assume means from the original immortal world.

I doubt he'll even get to the dao realm until the last 10 chapters and a quick end similar to stellar transformations.
I have no idea what I'm gonna do when it's finished, no other novel updates as regularly. I'm hoping he goes up a wish eternal since I haven't read the original translation and it's new to me.

I simply can't get past the retarded paneling.

I liked Ares but ending is shit

Honestly it feels pretty rushed once he entered the Mountain and Seas realm. So many chapters were enjoyably spent just on South Heaven, and then now with less than 400 chapters left the damn end bosses all seem to be coming to gang bang the parrot. I guess it's a decent cop out since usually the bosses don't just all zerg swarm your ass but it makes me sad that it basically ignores over half the mountains.

I know that, but bones are inside your body, how the fuck can you see whether bones have impurities or not by staring at someone? Does everyone in chink shit have CT-Scan vision even when they are level 1 mortals? How do you get past all that skin and muscle?

Ancient Strengthening Technique updates roughly 0.4 days per chapter, but honestly it's pretty shit even for considering the lower standard of xianxia/xuanhuan. The author can't even do basic math yet has a hard on for numbers.

Wuxiaworld has spoiler forums for the late game to the ending he becomes an outsider, which is above the dao realm and actually enters further cultivation realms he doesn't know about from what I've read

From what I read the upcoming war had a lot of casualities and a ton of people died, but it doesn't matter since MH with his crazy cultivation realm can just fart out the mountain sea realm if he thinks for it. He just brought everything back during the ending.

He also returns back planet south heaven and gives some gold to the descendant of the couple that loaned him some silver (the uncle and the aunt from the beginning of the story) back when he was a mortal. Pretty funny shit

Opinions on:

> The Gamer

> Tower of God

> God of Highschool

> Yumi's cells

>please dont end up like veritas
The Breaker is a huge success and it has been licensed in some parts of Yuroop unlike Veritas which had its ratings fall downhill and both writter and artist went to work separate ways on more popular things.

The Breaker part 3 hasn't happened yet for any reason but the one which killed Veritas.

In most novels once you start cultivating, you're usually able to see every part of your body including your soul, jiedan (the core they upgrade with qi, spirit stones, etc), bones, muscles, even cells.

>The Gamer
I dropped it after the witch and super buff guy appeared. I was already suspending my disbelief hard with the underworld auction, but then it seemed like everything in the world worked conveniently like an RPG, instead of his powers just adding a game dimension to his daily life. Putting points into intelligence making him smarter is just a stupid way to make the character into an overpowered boring MC.

Yes except that has to do with yourself, not others until you reach a higher level. For example, Yun Che basically used that same description for his wife despite him being a god damn cripple with zero cultivation available and was merely staring at her from afar.

And I mean even if you could see, who give a shit? Do people actually turn on their x-ray vision then get turned on cause of how smooth the girl's bones are? Do you get what I mean by how fucked up that is? Imagine if it wasn't the bone but like say the kidney or intestines, how would that work?

>Oh look hot babe
>X-ray
>Woah look at dem jade intestines that look like auspicious clouds trailing like a heavenly rain-dragon (seriously what the fuck is a rain dragon and how does it differ from a flood dragon? why does google fail in this?)

Depends...

Manwa is Korean stuff and their trends are usually centered arround VRMMO and other SAO clones.
Very rarely will they step away from the staple stuff and it's usually fairly generic.
This can also be explained by most anime being drawn in Korea by underpaid students...
Manhua is Chinese stuff and they have a fairly higher variation of genres and art styles covered.
Though their stories also have their tropes like traditional chinese medicine mixed with fantastical alchemical traditions.
The most common ones though are:

>Wuxia - battleshonen without over the top beam attacks and bullshit powers, just dudes duking it out with fists/weapons and no women falling from the sky just to land on the MCs dick.

>Xuanhuan - Dungeons And Dragons chinese edition, everyone trains to be a muscle-wizard and magic items/beasts are fairly common.

>Xianxia - Like the above just way more over the top and the people of that setting are trying to reach immortality through practicing magic with usually heavy Daoist themes.

This for example can be considered Xuanhuan bordering on Xianxia but straight up Xianxia cause nobody is training to be immortal.

>Putting points into intelligence making him smarter is just a stupid way to make the character into an overpowered boring MC.
Or an accurate critic of rpgs. If we were to be logic in games, nobody would ever take anything else except intelligence.

What use if strengh in modern days with robots ? Agility ? Endurance ? Only INT, WIS and CHR are important.

>Chinese shit
>Probably longer banters than a shonen manga fight scene.
If Naruto's talk no jutsu wasn't enough, I guess you could start reading chinese novels or mangas where the bystander's dialogue is more important and takes about 80% of the dialogue just to show how awesome the technique is.

I kind of assume the mountain and sea realm is similar to what desolate era did with the three realms only being a single chaos world among many.
I think it's just a Chinese phrasing of beauty that doesn't translate well.
And a rain dragon has actual wings while a flood dragon doesn't and is more grounded. That's just what I've gathered from reading novels so don't take it as fact.

I don't think you should use Yun Che as an example to be honest. He's basically an erect penis chasing after women, and cultivating secondly.

Don't forget that he's also a medical saint and he usually only has to see someone to determine their illnesses.

He's done that numerous times when he just looks at someone and says, "oh you have X disease I can cure that you"

Just let it slide on this case

That's what it seems like, you have to go past the dao realm to be able leave though.

The dude that told MH parents to take him to planet south heaven (dude with the paintbrush that seals the resurrection lily) is one I think. I'm pretty sure.

>If we were to be logic in games, nobody would ever take anything else except intelligence.
The stats are a representation of the character's abilities, not the other way around.

Except level ups in most games allow you to choose whatever you want.

i read the one with the hot teacher and it was pretty bad and the names are fucked.

I'm 90% sure you're talking about Unbalance x Unbalance, it's a korean manhwa so I think that's what you mean by the names are fucked.

>Opinions on:
>> The Gamer
Good fun full of Korean Memes
>> Tower of God
Shit
>> God of Highschool
Steaming pile of Shit
>> Yumi's cells
Honestly haven't read this.

>And a rain dragon has actual wings while a flood dragon doesn't and is more grounded.

I wish this was true, but depending on the novel the flood dragons have wings as well. And given how long Chinese dragons are, I'm not even sure where the wings are supposed to be or how big they are or what their shape is.

Even if I don't use Yun Che, other nameless fodder characters use the same description. You can't tell me an entire city full of mortals and immortals are all obsessed with bones.

It's just one thing that kinda irks me regarding chink novels. Their standards of beauty (as far as novel authors go) seem to be incredibly generic and repetitive despite the culture emphasizing on flowery words. Seems paradoxical.

In fact, Against the Gods already does it pretty well considering the author at least outside of the generic stuff gives you vague comparisons between each girl. If anyone ever tried Ancient Strengthening Technique, then you'd realize that every single woman is the exact same thing other than bust or hip size, and those only come in two options.

>>> Yumi's cells
> Honestly haven't read this.
It's "Inside Out" Korean version

Whats wrong with the names?

It's amazing how the painting geezer is still so relevant after all this time. Every single time you get a hint of his level cap, he ends up being even more important. I wonder if he's stronger than even Wang Lin who cameo'd.

For you to engage in creating a custom character. Stats are a way of showing the difference between a Warrior guy and a Wizard guy when faced with the same situation and to create some sense of progression, but you wouldn't really think that the allocation of some abstract value is really making the "character" you're playing as smarter or stronger are you?

There's nothing wrong with the names, that's how korean names are. (Hae-young, Jin-Ho, etc) Those are korean names, nothing wrong with them.

Dangu by Park Joong Gi is pretty good and the art is almost Takehiko Inoue tier. Too bad about the ending though.

Most other korean stuff I've read was pretty bad though. Especially their equivalent of shoujo manga is complete cancer.

>novel says she has bigger tits than the main heroine
>main heroine ends up with bigger tits in the webcomic anyways

Anyone read magician?
I really like it despite some part being really weak
Also shin angyo onshi is god tier

Who knows, I still haven't started Xian Ni, Beseech the Devil, or A Will Eternal.

I don't want start on them until deathblade finishes ISSTH

What manga is that?

Orange Marmalade is pretty good.

Inferior art inferior writing. Its like cheap manga

It's an adaptation of the chinese novel Tales of Demons and Gods.

Just go read the original novel on wuxia world if you're interested, or if you just want some fanservice I guess you can check the manhua out.

I haven't either, I only know about Xian Ni's character cause he appears in History's Number 1 Founder which I read earlier than ISSTH. I now finally realize why he was so obsessed with time-space powers.

But honestly, which one of you predicted how the Seal the Heavens Incantation part of the story would come into play? I sure as hell didn't see that coming even though in hindsight it lines right up with Lord 5th and 3rd.

I thought it would be the league honestly.

So far ATG has been (the Chicks in order):

>Su Ling Er - The MCs cumbucket from a past life / currently a loli
>The Little Aunt - Currently taming the MCs self-proclaimed Arch-Nemesis after suffering from MC induced Anorexia...totally incest bait.
>Xia whatever - The Wife he still didn't got to fuck. At least he's man enough to beat the shit out of any guy trying to make a move on her.
>Jasmine - The forced tsundere loli brocon...I mean fuck it the author straight up wrote that she's a tsundere...
>Princes Xuero - The best girl who actually pimps out her husband.
>Little fairy - MIA with their rape-child. At least hope the kid is male so the author doesn't go on another loli rant.
>Phoenix chick - Needs the dick before her brother tries to rape her. Also a 13 year old loli.
>Demon Empress - 500 hundred sessions of sex with a loli was enough of a description.

The novel is a guilty pleasure of mine sure but i'll shit on it any time of the day...

I sure as hell didn't. Er Gen name dropped it a couple times throughout the story but I never thought it'd be like that.

>if you just want some fanservice
W-Well, while I may want some, I will check the novel later then

Hope the parrot leaves behind its own incantation like it said it would in the Blacklands/Golden Crow arc.
Just imagine the poor fool inheriting that technique.
