Got a script for a Danganronpa 3 Anthology that needs to be edited so the script reads better. It's about 70 pages of TL and the translator did decently enough but there's a lot of engrishy lines that need to be fixed up or straight up double checked. The rest of the anthology was TL'd so I just need these last 70 fixed up to move ahead with typesetting. If anyone's interested in helping just email me at [email protected] I can provide raws and everything. Pic related is the anthology in question.

That doesn't work, yo. You have to right click the folder and then click on "Get link" or "Update link".

If the colors and borders are well defined, you can use the bucket with a threshold of around 30 or so and it will get rid of quite a lot of stuff. I think 32 is the default. That is already pretty good.

Whatever the case, Mega files have a key that needs to be attached to the url if you want to access something. It starts with "!". Maybe you copied the link and forgot about that last part.

Whenever I get the script. I have the raws, but without a script, I can't do anything. The user who did 5.2 said that he's currently working on something else and will be for the next few weeks.

Try changing the jquery line to require version 2.1.3. You might have to remove and reinstall the script to force Greasemonkey to update it, but that's the only other thing I remember changing so if that's not it I'm out of ideas.

What's the best method at exporting saves works? I'm trying to learn about scantalation methods and can't too find much resources.
I was looking at resources online and found 'insidescanlation.com/etc/How-to-edit-manga-with-Photoshop/rawr/editguide/3.html' on saving scans.
Is this the common method to export the work or are there newer more up to date resources?
At the bottom of photoshop there's a quality tab for bicubic, bilinear, bicubic smoother/sharper.

That part matters when you resize things. Some people say 32 colors is overkill, but I don't give a shit. It still gets me low filesizes.

I've been too busy to look at other delinquent manga. I've been putting BADBOYS off because of it.

Probably caching. They added a bit of JS somewhere that outright deletes the toBlob() and toDataURL() methods that are used to drop the canvas, the scripts haven't broken at all really they just can't call up the most essential part of it.
Trying to find a way around currently but I'm kinda short on time today so it might have to wait.

They do it on the prototype itself. It's just two tiny little lines of inline script, apparently some of these adblockers can handle that kind of stuff so I'm trying that out.
I also tried adding a bit of userscript that runs ASAP and saves the method but well, can't really beat an inline script.

I've been trying to download different things and so far the scripts only fail when you try to download light novels. Manga is fine, but light novels are fucked.
My guess is that it happens because LN have images that are not part of the canvas, but are just put on top of it.

Yeah LNs are different on EBJ. If you want LNs, rip from Rakuten.

What are some good places to get raws?
I usually look at nyaa or senmanga, are there any other good places?

Switch it to greasemonkey and use firefox, I think it'll let you run before any of their scripts.

Yup. Did that, but I found another solution that is much craftier and would work on any platform. It'd require allowing pop-ups though.
Basically I just open a new window to wherever, steal the function from there, and close the window. Just gotta try it out with the last 15 minutes of freedom I have left.

I'm using it all the time to check Japanese dictionary sites and Google in general when translating shit to make sure I haven't gone full retard.

And don't you have to use your browser to scour Japanese sites to get to these raws, or increasingly even simply for learning Japanese?

I have an offline dictionary because I travel a lot. Never seen any problems with Chrome rendering UTF-8 though.

Huh, well the flip-through script does seem to work on Firefox. It always skips the cover, but that's not a problem since I can just use the older hook to get the cover.

Image quality seems to be the same. I know that mindl has artifact issues and looks worse than these canvas dumps. For now this works.

Yeah, ebjripper is kinda... meh. It starts downloading stuff even before it is loaded, so you might end up with a blank image. I prefer ebjhooker. Both work for me.

I get that every now and then. I just prefer it because it was it had a click bot function. You can enable both to be in the safe side and let both scripts download the pages.

Your browser shows you the correct character, but in the wrong font, and the wrong glyphs.

You can bet your ass your smartphone is also showing you the chinese variants, unless you, the site's owner or the app developer took very specific steps against this.

Good news! I got my shitty script to work again. Bad news is, it's even shittier than before. But at least it works. Tested it on a bunch of new and old books, It only works on Firefox with Greasemonkey, it'll fuck up on anything else so don't bother.

Few things to note, I changed the trigger mechanism because I had to and apparently a few people didn't quite read the little description line in there at first. Give it a few seconds before clicking okay if you want to be sure the first page goes through, after that it should be fine.
