>YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS SHIT UP
except that you just did

...

>basic web for 9.99
This won't happen but if it did I would not be mad.

>showing no understanding of what websites eat up the most data

I literally wouldn't be able to afford it. I'd probably have to go outside for a walk in the park. Kinda looking forward to NN dying now that I think about it lol

I dont remember having to do that before 2015.

And "basic web" will consist only: Facebook + Reddit + Gmail

P2P traffic - Completely banned
Politically incorrect sites like Sup Forums, Stormfront, Breitbart - Completely banned

>Europeans are forced to fund the propaganda used against them on a daily basis.
>KEK AMERIMUTTS PAYING FOR SERVICES FROM A COMPANY THO AMIRITE

Back to plebbit

Does that mean people will have to switch service providers who offer faster speeds with all the websites included at a cheaper price while the idiots who think it's a good idea to charge $5 per group of sites is a good idea crumble?

Amerrimut:
>Hello At&T operator, my dick is hard, i want to buy blacked.com access
At&T operator:
>Ok, that will be 9,99$ please say your full name, Social Security number and Address so we can mail you the bill

Every time a Google shill posts a net neutrality thread I will post this.

...

Can someone explain this

The only way the ISPs could manage this is if they made a whitelist of their top 500 websites and block every new website coming out until they review an categorize it.

At that point wouldn't all new websites just jump ship and use tor instead recreating web 2.0?

fpbp. remember to consult the wise elders in your options field.

>YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS SHIT UP
you literally just did.
sage goes in the options field.

I have news for you if you think that sites weren't being blocked during NN

That means that people that do not live on LA or New York and only have AT&T where they live will going to pay for Porn Packages, Social Media Packages, Gaming Packages, etc... and will have P2P and political incorrect sites blocked

no - those sites would receive bandwidth priority. all other sites would be too slow to access without paying for priority

The source of traffic can be completely hidden by using a VPN, so it would be impossible for an ISP to reliably detect that you are trying to access Sup Forums anyway.

Is there any evidence or proof of AT&T doing this before? Even rural areas have multiple choices in providers. If you live in the middle of buttfuck nowhere, chances are you dont care or use the internet to begin with.

they're essentially suggesting that every ISP would devote resources to this using their own standards and it's all complete fearmongering bullshit

If you made people pay to use Facebook, that would be so awesome
>Poor losers GTFO
>Cleansing fire
>Only Chad's remain

Nothing is going to happen except for Netflix getting jewed

OP BTFO

Do you even know why ISPs wanted to give bandwidth priority to certain internet services in the first place?

No, it's just a delusional reddit conspiracy theory. There is not a single instance of any ISP in the United States splitting up their services into packages like that. It would be a suicidal business decision on AT&T's part.

GoDaddy banned the Daily Stormer due to SJW outrage

GoDaddy is not regulated by the government

ISPs are no longer regulated by the government

You get where I am going with this ...

I see your screenshot, and I raise you

Normal Porn Package 4,99$ - Blacked.com, Interracialporn.com, Cuckporn.com, Gayporn.com

Premium Porn Pakage 39,99 - Heterossexualporn.com, Whiteonwhite.com

We all know Amerimutts will going to be Jewed

Didn't think so

My university blocks Sup Forums too.

The solution is to stop being a poorfag and get your own internet.

theres other hosting services

Net neutrality has existed ever since the telecommunications act of 1996

Daily Stormer is back
GoDaddy lost business
Nazis are now more understood as the 'oppressed' group and are stronger than they've been in years

That's where you're going?

>OH NO THE INTERNET WILL NEVER BE THE SAME
>*Spews out completely fabricated hypothetical scenario that will never happen*

>THEY'RE ARE GOING TO BAN AND CENSOR EVERYTHING
>THEY WILL CHARGE YOU ACCESS TO EVERY SINGLE SITE ON THE INTERNET
>*ad hom attacks anyone who disagrees to cover for their lack of logic or evidence*

>WHO CARES IF WE CAN'T FIND ONE SINGLE EXAMPLE FROM ANY OF THIS HAPPENING ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD
>ITS DEFINITELY GOING TO HAPPEN THOUGH
>Y-YOU'LL SEE

>Y-YOU JUST HATE IT BECAUSE LEDDIT, PORNHUB, JEWGLE, KIKEBOOK AND TWITTER ARE SHILLING FOR IT
>WE NEED MORE GUBERMENT REGULATIONS
>REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Is this the biggest salt extraction since election night?

"but... nothing says they can't do that"

and nothing says a cable news channel can't start broadcasting a high frequency noise that causes brain damage among viewers similar to what happened in Cuba, but somehow it doesn't happen

Chance of FTC following through and enforcing any of that: 0.1%

Suddenly the gubmint is trustworthy huh?

Running out of pasta yet?

>Look at most expensive package ie the Normie Bundle
>Every single website is bluepilled garbage
>Somehow this is a problem

I'm not sure if Faceberg and Jewgle got Jewed or not

Fpbp. A meltdown on all levels for nothing. Nothing will change. I got a 300/100 MBIT package. Guess I'll have to upgrade to 1000

...

DS is not back they are still hiding on the darknet.

The most likely implication would be having specific services ignore data caps like every mobile phone carrier is starting to do already. Want to watch video without destroying your cap? Fine, just use the popular, approved services.

in stating they're hiding, you acknowledge they're not gone

Maybe I'm a retarded homo but doesn't this kind of.... give us.... a chance... to.... like.... use capitalism to beat the living shit out of all the stuff we fucking hate?
I'd love to take away most of those faggots shekels desu.
If I could pick the most streamlined package possible, that would be awesome.
I'm already pretty much fine with kickstarters, patreons and donations to things like wikipedia, shit like that allows us to operate as an interest group.

If I'm getting this wrong, please clue me in someone.

I think its safe to say that Aijt is officially /ourguy/

The owners of those sites would pay ISPs more for that faster speed.

>cable TV, which is frequently run by ISPs, literally uses a package system for content
I don't see why ISPs wouldn't use packages. Let me ask you this: why would they fight so hard to repeal net neutrality if they never intended to make more money when it's gone?

This fear uncertainty doubt campaign really has me afraid, unsure, and doubting my almonds.

Because the FCC title II classification (which wasn't net neutrality) created an environment of regulatory uncertainty.

Cable and internet are different products. There is no instance of any ISP offering a tiered internet package like the one depicted in the OP.

You can’t deny the pai.

If you really think that at the bare minimum, ISPs on rural areas with no/little competition will not have that Package options like Cable TV have, you are a very naive person.

Personally i think that all the american ISPs will have a package system

Report off topic and troll threads.

>being some concern troll's bitch
>doubting your almonds
I can tell you're new here. Almonds are the key to combating the Deep Soy menace and retaining our very humanity.

>"as a european, let me tell you what America will do"

because the own the rights to the TV channels simpleton, they don't own the websites and can't legally charge access to them you fucking retard, the worst that will happen will be similar to mobile plans that offer quota free data packages to certain sites.
The whole locking everything behind a paywall is completely fabricated fear mongering and you ate it up.

>In their net neutrality fairy tale, internet service providers (ISPs) are the ‘big bad wolf,’ bent on creating paid ‘fast lanes’ and blocking the websites of entrepreneurs (who invariably work out of their garages). It sounds like a frightful tale, except that ISPs have never offered paid fast lanes or blocked small business owners’ web sites (run out of garages or otherwise).

>According to Democratic leaders in the Senate, net neutrality is the principle that “what you read, see or watch online shouldn’t be favored, blocked or slowed down based on where that content is coming from.” Google became the world’s largest corporation by trampling on this principle while the Left cheered (or turned a blind eye)

>For one, Google uses its monopoly position in internet search markets to systematically favor its own products in its search results.

>None of these Google practices are consistent with the Left’s net neutrality principles or fair competition. In 2012, staff at the Federal Trade Commission concluded that Google’s anticompetitive conduct had strengthened its monopolies and caused “real harm to consumers and to innovation” that “will have lasting negative effects on consumer welfare.” Yet the Obama administration decided to focus its energy on ISPs while letting Google run wild. Obama appointees at the FTC gave short shrift to the findings of the agency’s professional staff while the Obama-led Federal Communications Commission exempted Google’s monopolies from the current net neutrality rules.

ISPs>Jewgle

archive.fo/iPolU

Don’t forget the complementary mutt face

They also forget that we have the sherman act, the paywall crap is bogus.

>If you really think that at the bare minimum, ISPs on rural areas with no/little competition will not have that Package options like Cable TV have
More conspiracymongering. They didn't do it in 2014, why would they do it now?

This. Google INVENTED fast lanes.

Born to a Jewish family,[5] Cohen graduated from Swarthmore College in 1977, where he triple majored in political science, history and economics,[6] and in 1981 he graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School,[7] where reputedly he went by the nickname "Chief Justice Cohen," because of his legal intellect and work ethics.[6] He served as Chief of Staff to Philadelphia Mayor Ed Rendell from January 1992 to April 1997.[7] He also was a partner in Ballard, Spahr, Andrews & Ingersoll.[7] In July 2002, he became Executive Vice President of Comcast Corporation, dealing with corporate communications, government affairs, public affairs, corporate administration, and serving as senior counselor to the CEO.

Can someone give me a quick rundown of Net Neutrality and why its bad that its gone now? I don't know much about anything

Is there any argument for NN that isn't an audacious straw Man

It's a good thing that it's gone. FCC title II reclassification created an environment of regulatory uncertainty, which was harmful to both large and small ISPs.

I heard that you'll have to pay for certain sites now, given that I only use the internet to browse /fit/ and for homework, I don't think I'll even notice the difference. Wouldn't this fuck with liberals and their social media shit more than anything?

>get VPN
>laugh

k

No, you won't have to pay for specific sites. That is just propaganda generated by net neutrality activists. The government can still prosecute ISPs for discriminating against lawful internet content.

As opposed to Obama's FCC chairman?

Genachowski was born in Brookline, Massachusetts, and grew up in Great Neck, New York, the son of Adele and Azriel Genachowski.[4] He attended yeshiva and studied in Israel.[5] He entered Columbia College of Columbia University as a pre-med student, but earned a Bachelor of Arts in History (1985) magna cum laude. He was an Editor of the Columbia Daily Spectator. After working in Washington, D.C., for former New York Congressman Chuck Schumer, he entered Harvard Law School and earned a Juris Doctor (1991), also magna cum laude. He was a Notes Editor at the Harvard Law Review when his classmate Barack Obama was its president. Genachowski clerked for The Honorable Abner J. Mikva on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and then for Justices William J. Brennan and David Souter at the U.S. Supreme Court.[6][7][8][9]

So they can’t be entrusted to follow FTC rules, but they’ll follow NN to the letter. You realize you sound like a moron?

You mean like you had to pay for access to certain sites before 2015 when Title II regulations were passed?

Oh wait, that never happened.

They are doing it right now:

>The government can still prosecute ISPs for discriminating against lawful internet content.
Have a source on that? Not saying you're wrong, but I'd rather not take your statements at face value. By source I mean a specific written law or guideline.

How is this off topic? Net neutrality is a very popular political subject.

See first response. Source it won't change, please.

stop being a lazy queer and learn why Cable packages exist

"With cable customers unaware of how much they're paying, the owners of television networks have significant leverage. Take a company like Viacom. It owns popular channels like MTV and Comedy Central. It also owns thoroughly unpopular channels like Palladia. But it can tell a cable company that if it wants MTV at a good price, it also has to carry Palladia.

"The way they package everything, can you imagine if you went in to buy a 2x6 and you had to take a 2x4 with it?" says Ben Hooks, who runs Buford Media, a tiny cable provider in rural Texas.

He's among the cable companies getting fed up with this system of bundles. Cablevision in suburban New York actually sued Viacom over this. Bundling is an almost unbelievably good business for channel owners. Disney, for instance, gets 100 million cable customers to pay more than $5 a month for its sports channel ESPN, even if only a fraction of them actually tune in.

In a way, it's kind of like taxes. Cable fees spread the money around.

"It is a subsidy. The question is, overall, is there a value proposition for the subscriber?" asks Howard Homonoff, a cable industry consultant."

So its a nothingburger? Can I tell my brother to shut the fuck up about it now?

It *might* be a nothingburger. Tell your brother to shut up until something changes. Which it seems nothing has, yet.

WTF I CAN'T GO TO DIGG?

FUCK

...

>amerimutt shill is a pro NN shill

What a surprise

Do you cucks have ANY self awareness

>Have a source on that?

pg 83 of the FCC release:
>"Many of the largest ISPs have committed in this proceeding not to block or throttle legal content. These commitments can be enforced by the FTC under Section 5, protecting consumers without imposing public-utility regulation on ISPs."

Nobody elected him to do the same as Obama.

who elected your comcast guy then?

beat me to it

to continue, it seemed your argument was "Oy vey this guy's a jew!" When you're also backing a jew.

Are trump supporters/ republican Identitarians cucks?

This whole thing about net-neutrality seems to have highlighted the complete corporate cock suckery that these identitarians are capable of.

You think internet providers invested that much in lobby, to make less money?

It doesn't matter if they can't be "trusted"- whatever that means. The entire crux of the argument for net neutrality is that it was impossible to prosecute ISPs for anticonsumer/anticompetive practices prior to title II classification, which is a blatant lie. We can not only point to the law where it says it is illegal, but we can point to specific cases were ISPs were prosecuted for these things.

It says so right in the official FCC document that an ISP's commitment to net neutrality is enforceable by law. What else could you possibly want? Isn't this exactly what your side has been shilling for for the past 2 years?

Nice

when will the 'all corporations are evil' meme die? or at least the 'government is always the moral superior to the private sector' meme

...

You think Soros threw 200 million against it out of the kindness of his heart?

My college doesn't block Sup Forums...only time hortons, mcdonalds, and pizza pizza block Sup Forums.

Name one corporation (other than Amazon and Netflix) that has a good repertoire with its consumer base.

your flag flashed to a brit cucks, also implying that europeans have freedom of speech on the internet, you can go too jail for hurting a refugees feelings and other fucking garbage. You europeans cant talk shit your a suicidal nanny state thats ready to explode on its own refugee cum swallowing, also to the paid kikes in this thread get outta here.

George Soros and Google spent tons of money lobbying for the Title 2 regulations. Do you honestly think George Soros and Google are on your side just for this one issue?
