I hope that's the case. Don't want to be waiting too long though. Id be fine with just the manga but obviously the release has gone stagnant. AGAIN.
I'd love to see a 'Berserk reforged' or 'Berserk: The Black Swordsman'. I'd be fine with a tiny bit of content being trimmed, but not entire arcs being skipped, and it needs at least decent animation.
