Hyouge Mono is absurdly good

Hyouge Mono is absurdly good

Because it's Sup Forums if it was in feudal Japan and we liked tea sets instead of anime

Aye.

so good that the mangaka hated it so much, he even openly distanced himself from it.

I thought it was kind of boring. I mean it's just close up shots of exaggerated faces reacting to absurdities. It's like literally every other comedy anime.

it's all about wabi you dilletante

Source

any subs?
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA

its not funny

It's so funny back then because people keep spam it as AOTS when not a single person want to sub it.

The guy that sang the first OP got busted for marijuana which is a big deal in Japan. Consequently everybody that wasn't contractually obligated to continue working on the show got as far away from it as possible.

are you russian or something

No.
Are you spent at least 10 years here without stop?
Assumed if archive backup is safe, you could track back how it is back then around 2010-2012.

you really are russian

cyka

Reminds me I lost sight of this show when Huzzah up and disappeared. Even have the rest from Doremi but never went back to it. Was the language that difficult or something? I remember it being quite popular around here for awhile.

If you like that sort of thing.

But this was subbed.

>comedy
it's a period drama about the very real troubles of the people of the era.

Date best samurai

It hurts

A E S T H E T I C S

I cried like a bitch, thanks for reminding me

I never expected this show to hit as hard as it did. That scene and Akechi's death ruined me.

wonder what Oribe would think of European artwork, specifically classical art

He would say it's absurd until he sees how much everyone else likes it, then he would have an epiphany say it's the best thing ever.

Akechi did everything wrong but for good reasons

The literal definition of getting played like a fiddle.

monkeyman was a master of ruses after all

well except for his Korean invasion

Imo, seemed to me like he didnt have a vision for himself and all of his actions were based on him monkey'ing Oda.

still better than that sagacious fuck Tokugawa

guy won the shogunbowl by not playing

who simplicity here?

I would say my taste is a combination of his simplicity and Kaiki's taste, mediocrity in replaceable objects, for you don't have to worry about them

simple life, simple aesthetics

i must admit hosting a ceremony outside was aesthetic as fuck

after all you just need a host, a guest and some tea

You don't understand the simple life until you've been to Mikawa. That's what I long for.
Ieyasu has the best taste in sake

he stirs the tea with a measuring spoon though

dreadful fucking scene

he had short fuss for trying new things and I don't care about alcohol, but I did like his initial philosophy on the socks/shoes
