I have a question for everyone

I have a question for everyone.

you want less government control and more internet freedom, right?

so, why are you in support of net neutrality
that of which grants government (more specifically the FCC) more control over the internet instead of being against net neutrality and for the free market?

you can choose a different internet provider if they slow down the internet and force you to pay (which they won't because people can just switch providers and that's how you lose business).

it doesn't matter if you had a chioce or not if you did we'd all be fucked because everyone on the internet lacks critical thinking.

this guy is not your enemy.
he is your ally.

I can't choose a different provider. Comcast has a monopoly in my city.

Well you can give the power to the government and to the corporations (Google/Facebook/Twitter)
Or give it to other corporations (ISP)

>You have to always be X or Y there's no such thing as compromise

You're (((flag))) isn't fooling anyone either.

the fuck you mean by "fooling"?

elect new people in your city

NN shills got exactly what they wanted
they wanted government to make the calls.
government made a call
now they upset because they don't agree.
lesson: don't put shit into governments hands unless you are willing to swallow turds.

agreed

Wont do much. Infrastructure are so expensive no independents could start on its own. Tho with sponsors it would be possible... But then....... Hehehehehehe you idiot fail to see further. Its gonna be youtube addpocalispse version Armageddon. Where sponsors treat to terminate their contract if they still associate with edgier contents... Like Sup Forums for exemple.

Government regulations are good sometimes , they split up Rockefeller oil into multiple companies and prevent the over saturation of monopolies.

that sounds like the illusion of choice.

if youtube is anything like facebook then it's the share holders who make the dicisions.

>implying we didn't punch the free market button with the fist of a thousand suns

>Implying there IS a free market

Haha, if only I had more service providers in my area than just the usual 2 companies (At&t or Verizon).
>Shit I don't.

It's great though!! With regulations out of the way, new companies will rise to provide better service. Its not lile the FCC and these big companies were monopolizing the industry!!
>What happened to Google Fiber?
>Where are the new companies?

Oh but the internet is still free!! Comcast and the others have NO interest in changing anything! Except, for the only thing keeping them from "investing" in the market because its VERY hard to do it when a piece of paper tells you how to run a business.
>Implying there is competition or no innovation.

Are you retarded? Or did you fall for the meme? Ajit Pai make outstanding memes.

shut up redditfag and look at my speculations Ok redditfag heres the deal the way the way I see NN is it can go three ways the 1. Isps go full jew can censor everything so rich niggers can go hard and buy everything on the internet 2. isps are aware that people will get pissed so they censor very little sites probably costing like an extra dollar. Or 3. The isps become a jew and throttle speeds of other websites putting them on ransom until the other jews start sucking there dicks giving money after awhile thus the isps dont throttle the site for fatasses like me on the net

I'm all for free market...but crony capitalism is just as bad as a controlling government. I think if net nutrality ends and these companies start fucking with the people, new companies will come up and kill the current ones...or at least I hope. But ya never know.

actually I want no government and no internet

Does anyone else have charter spectrum as their ISP? Do you think they'll be corrupt and abuse the absence of net neutrality?

This is what an actual Obamanet supporter looks like.

Sounds like you are a retarded jewish cheerleader for monopolies

He looks more like he shits in the street.

In the declaration of independence it says that every man has god given "unalienable rights" which are to be protected by the goverment - and not free markets... Does that mean the founding fathers were statists? Are you really that thick?

I'm "lucky" enough to have access to a few different providers. Unfortunately, they all suck. They all provide the same service over the same wires for the same exact price. Coincidence? I think not. It won't be long before my provider tells me they are "upgrading" my plan to give me the option of paying extra for netflix and other services that already available on the internet.

Net neutrality is not a government regulation.

People who talk about net neutrality as if it's some sort of gobernment regulation simply do not know what they are talking about. Net neutrality is just the way the internet works sans any interference. Think of your home network, you have your PC, your laptop, your cell phone, you printer, maybe other family members computers, laptops, etc. If you're a parent you could set your router to throttle someones' computer to disallow pornographic websites, Sup Forums, or other websites. But instead of being a parent, the FCC is doing this for everyone on a large scale.

It won't happen overnight, but what we're going to end up with is a situation like North Korea where the state decides what you can and cannot view. Initiating regulations by allowing ISPs to throttle your access to the internet is just the first step.

Real question: How many times was Sup Forums dropped on its head? Who touched you to make you this way? I'm fine cutting out inefficiency, that's a good thing. But big corporations have not shown themselves trustworthy. In world full of greedy liars and cheats, big corporations are the worst of the worst.

>Oh big data leak affecting most american adults most valuable personal infromation? Lets not do anything about it. FOR ENTIRE FUCKING YEAR.

Big corporate billionaires support NN repeal too. Not an argument.

"free market". This isn't standing in a grocery store aisle and reaching for a different brand. ISPs have monopolies, plus there can be a high switching cost.

Also goes against the idea of the Internet. It should be treated as a utility. Imagine if we had the power to slowdown radiowaves.

Not all government regulations are bad. You've had a good life because of them. Don't listen to libertarians who just drop buzz words and offer no solutions
