And even if we did pretend that she had a personality, Nico did the whole "cute but is secretly a bitch at times" character far better. In fact that's one of the big problems with Eli in general: if she isn't boring and irrelevant most of the time, she's badly outdone by Nozomi and Nico in every way to the point that she really doesn't have much merit in general.
