Episode 1 of S2 was my least favorite, didn't make me laugh much, compared to S1 and the rest of S2 so far.
The opening grew on me but i still like the first one a bit more.

I enjoyed season 1, but not season 2. I dropped Konosuba after watching episode 1, it's too crappy to succeed season 1's reigning glory.

It's a genuinely funny show, with decent characterization and writing. The animation isn't great, but it's good-enough for what it is. Really, it's got the best possible premise and script for a DEEN show.
Could a better studio have made it better? Sure, for more money, and at the expense of the rest of their schedule. I'd rather have DEEN make this than have them make something lousy and joyless.
