Were up votes and down votes and a "code of conduct" were a thing here, "Based Black Man" used unironically would be flagged to hell in the same way using "Nigger" on reddit is flagged to hell.

There was also a huge fuss between centrist liberals, conservative democrats and a SJW sub called ShitRedditSays a long time ago because they were doxxing anti-SJW's and conservatives. This is back when reddit was more centrist and pro free speech and anti-doxxing. Those people eventually went to The_Donald and swallowed the micro redpill-lite. or an hero'd from political discussion. Smaller interest subs with no propaganda potential are also politically right or neutral, a la wickededge, which got me into super cheap shaving.
Now I'm not trying to defend reddit, but it's worth knowing that it's that way right now due to political manipulation.
