Conan

>meet some family friends with family
>someone gets murdered
>find the killer
>instead of speaking to a lawyer the killer tells the whole story to the police and cries

>walk over to a park
>attempted murder
>solve it

>get invited to a mansion
>someone gets murdered
>etc etc

>meet childhood love interest
>she almost gets burned alive

>watch man get photography award
>he murders someone

God damn why don't the cops ever suspect Conan? I mean everywhere he goes people get murdered. Don't they think there's some kind of correlation?

Mori already gets called Angel of Death.
They also apply this label to Conan in later chapters.

...

>They also apply this label to Conan in later chapters.
They finally got it right then.

The wiki says there will be a new Kaito Kid episode soon, do you guys know the exact date?

That's not even the worst part... i mean, the fucking midget has not aged a fucking day.
If every episode is a case and there is like 900 or more already that means Conan and friends witness 3 homicides a day.

Now if even one third of those are detective kids mysteries then those kids, the real ones, are gonna turn pretty fucked up.

Every episode is not a case, and on average each case in the manga is 3-5 chapters (adapted to 1 and 2 eps, respectively, but also AOs).

These are all the people who know Conan's identity.

One of these is not like the others.

wow fresh off the wiki nice job

you forgot to add kaito kid to that image

Did the series ever end with a conclusion?

>implying

No, but there are more plot-advancing chapters per year than there've ever been. It could still take another five years to wrap up, but the speed that it's heading towards a conclusion is increasing.

wait it's still running?
i remember this shit from 2005 lol

2005? Ha ha, get the fuck out of here. The manga's been going since like 1994, and the anime's been going since 1996. The dub came out in like 2004 or something.

Yep, January 1994. The manga started when I was in kindergarten.

>One of these is not like the others
Yeah, one of them is dead

I feel like Shukichi may also know. He has an insanely good memory and has recognized Conan's deductive ability so he may have made the connection that he was the same kid he met at the beach.

>One of these is not like the others.
Yeah the guy next to Vermouth is a complete fag

Yes, but the boy Shukichi met didn't wear glasses, whereas Conan does. Therefore they can't be the same person.

Plus, I really don't think Chukichi cares. For all his connection to Sera and Shuuichi, he's basically a romcom character whose only importance is being Yumi-tan's love interest.

Why you dissing Yukiko like that?

Eisuke was a mistake. He's not clever. He's not an enemy. He's not someone close to Conan. He's not even a cute girl. It pisses me off that he got put on the same level as other legitimately important characters.

Shukichi seems sharp enough to see past the lame glasses disguise, and he even told Sera to trust Conan's reasoning so he clearly realizes he is not a mere boy. It's not confirmed one way or the other so I'm not gonna argue it.

>Eisuke
>not clever
>not close to Conan
>not a cute girl

Yeah, but then in the very next case (Yumi kidnapping) he seems almost surprised at how smoothly Conan handles everything.

>implying the final episode won't be the whole black org in a meeting suddenly realizing that literally every single one of them is a double agents, even Gin Vodka and the boss himself
>conan kills himself after that happens and the screen cuts to black

>Vermouth is committed to not harming Conan or Ran; openly reveals herself in front of them
>Kir was too pretty to be a villain
>Bourbon had too many fangirls to be a bad guy

At this point, I wouldn't even be surprised if Rum turns out to be a good guy. I can already guarantee that Rumi-sensei won't turn out to be bad, because she's too cute.

>he got put on the same level as other legitimately important characters
He was stuffed in a closet for the whole conclusion of his arc so it doesn't seem that way to me.

Which makes it even worse that he knows Conan's identity.

Daily reminder that Conan literally needs Kaito Kid to do his tricks twice in order to figure out how he does them.

He figured out plenty of his tricks after only seeing them once (such as how he escaped on the roof during the Black Star case.

Besides, he wouldn't be a worthy adversary if Conan could see through him like nothing.

Have you ever watched Murder She Wrote?
>series about a murder mystery writer that would solve cases
>fictional city in buttfuck nowhere, Maine with only a couple thousand residents
Somebody did the math and that tiny fictional town in Maine had a 60% higher murder rate than the fucking Honduras.

>new Kaito
What are they going to do? Didn't they already animate up to the Corbeau story?

And they're all rich socialite murders, rather than gang-related drug wars.

hey user where's kaito kid

The fact that KID knows Conan's identity in the movies makes them boring as fuck and insufferably bad.

>TEEHEE I DISGUISED MYSELF AS SHINICHI AGAIN!
>HA HA RAN SAW ME I WILL PRETEND TO BE SHINICHI
>XD NOW CONAN AND I WILL JOKE ABOUT THINGS IN HIS LIFE LIKE HOW RAN IS GOOD AT KARATE

Fuck that shit. In the manga, they have a rivalry, where one is trying to obfuscate and one is trying to uncover. It's simple and effective. Having KID try to cuck Conan then duel him on the roof in a soccer ball vs card battle is agonizingly bad.

>Both Rumi and Superintendent lost an eye in a previous clash they had
Watch it get revealed as we hit chapter 1000

>i mean, the fucking midget has not aged a fucking day
Because in the canon timeline only a few months has passed since Shinichi was turned into Conan.

I'm already annoyed that Rumi having one fake eye will be played up as some big reveal, even though she's obviously a Rum suspect already.

You imagine if at the end Conan's the boss who wiped out his own memories and framed all the murderer

> a few months

How many fucking bodies can pile up in that short amount of time?

I stopped caring about the murders ages ago. Right now I watch Conan just to see the characters interact with each other

dont bully sera

...

He's becoming self-aware.

That's been my mentality, though lately I've been trying to pay more attention to the murders.

Sometimes I pay attention if the murders have an interesting premise

It's not like they didn't get their shit completely wrecked every single time, at least if they're honest they can get some reduction for the sentence.
>God damn why don't the cops ever suspect Conan?
They do, try to watch the anime first before complaining about it.

Called it

Please go shill your shitty channel somewhere else.

This is important. Will Conan finished before Aoyama contracted some deadly Japanese flu?

What's the current theory about her? The bodyguard that went missing ages ago?

>deadly Japanese flu
Your trusty Japanese doctor will simply not tell you if you have a terminal disease.

That's it.

>What's the current theory about her?
She's a Rum suspect. I was more indicating that I was right that the fact that they never show her right eye when she goes into her rage mode was important as noted by Haibara in the most recent chapter. Indicating that her right eye might be fake and so she'd be possible be Rum.

It's plausible that she is Asaca, but I think Mary is more likely to be Asaca than her.

Knox's 7th
It is forbidden for the detective to be the culprit.

Come to think of it, what was the minimum punishment for murder in Japan? Considering usually it's a first degree murder case?

Glad to know. Thanks Japan doctor

Oh that, yeah it could be a clue to her implant eye. Though I couldn't see that Sera's mom is the bodyguard.

Screw conventions.

I think this is partially why they don't want him in the 2020 Olympics.

Don't die conan thread!

seasonly flavor of the month shit satsujin jiken

Episode titles haven't been that way for over a decade.

Don't worry, Conan will find out who murdered the thread.

"I have become death"

You should consider promoting your channel elsewhere.

Shilling or not, do you have a personal problem with it?

People having their own likes?
>w-well if people like shit then...

11 months is not "a few".

Does Conan ever get in trouble for missing so much school?
It seems every other episode, he's off in the wilderness camping, or heading over to Osaka, or vacationing somewhere.

You can make a soccer team with the people that know Conan's secret identity

Where are you getting 11 from?

He probably has Haibara drug the teacher so she wouldn't ask any questions.

First episode happens in January. They just had the canon Christmas episode. Jan to Dec is 11 months.

Worse yet is that half the cast in the movies knows Kid's uncovered face is nearly identical to Shinichi's.

You'd think somebody would have gone "tell the police to look through school records for a guy who looks a lot like Kudo" and then tracked him to see what he did on the nights Kid showed up.

If it followed the Magic Kaito manga, Kaito would just leave behind a mannequin or some sort of robot. That series was a lot more whimsical than Conan is.

Yeah but the Kaito manga also had a real witch casting real spells didn't it?

I wonder what will end first - Conan or Ippo.

Ippo is still going on? Did he ever get together with his love interest?
