What? YoI has a lot more relevant women than most sport series. Yuuko, Lillia, Minako, Hiroko, Mila, Sara, Mari, Axel, Lutz and Loop. Other sport series will have only the team manager and maybe a sister or teacher.

None of those women are relevant

ok

And literally no one gives a fuck about them, not even here on Sup Forums

>fujos aren't lesbians
What a surprise.

Only because they don't skate against the main characters but plenty of them are relevant to their backstory or training. Minako influences Yuuri the most after Victor. Yuuko, Mari and Hiroko are relevant to Yuuri's backstory and show how he got to love skating and how people cheered him on proving his anxiety is not the result of outer influences. Sara is as relevant as her brother. Lillia isn't very relevant to Yuuri but she is a good motivator to the other Yuri. Axel, Lutz and Loop start the plot but they can counted as a single character. Characters like Anya and Isabelle are only relevant the another skater however.

It's only the proof that YoI is good.
Or that Fujos want poodles in their anime.

My favorite anime this season is Keijo and is all female.

>wanting characters of your own gender in a show unless it's haremshit
Only if you're a cuck.

Westernshit would be a lot more exciting if they ramped up the fujobait to eleven, only cast fuccbois and removed 99% of the females.

>Girls want to watch stories about attractive boys
What a surprise.

The Fujos won.

It's not like series like Madoka or K-On have many if any male characters. Yuri!!! on ice still has quite a few well liked female characters.

Those aired 6 to 7 years ago, user. When Obama was fresh in office. You have to go with the times. It's all fujo pandering for the next decade.

90% of the time the girls just watch the skating and gush over their favorite boy. At least in other sports series the girls act as coaches/managers, which is a much more significant and active role.

This is why 60's Batman is still relevant. It's gay.

Guys are cuter than women though.

I can't blame them.

>cuck
Fuck off crossboarder.

The women around Yuuri have influenced him throughout his life, they're a static presence. As you said they are relevant mostly to his backstory. They had no particular role to play in the time frame in which the story took place.
>Sara is as relevant as his brother
So you're saying she's completely useless, right?

Minako and Yuuko where relevant while he was in Hasetsu. Minako got him to improve his movements for his theme and Yuuko helped him while losing weight.

You're confusing quantity with relevance. Shonenshit sports anime just pull out their female characters whenever they need cheap fanservice but never try to give them more important roles.

YOI didn't even use them for fanservice and any of them could have been removed and nothing would change really. Even Minako was irrelevant after the 1st episode when Victor came into the picture.

every anime should be about either lesbians or gay men

I know that. But how come they're never featured in official art, or never mentioned in magazines articles? I think you know the answer.
You know the answer.

I wouldn't complain.

So this is how the hetero people die huh

Minako was relevant up to episode 3 where she helped Yuuri to 'refine' his Eros routine for the Onsen on ice show. She kept cheering on him but always in the background, they even barely interacted for the rest of the series. Same is for Yuur's mother, sister, Yuuko.

Who cares about the fan award? A Silent Voice and Yuri on Ice won the grand prize for best anime film and series. That's a double win for the two most prominent female directors in the industry, Yamada and Yamamoto

Nice.

And male anime fans do not want men other than self insert MC. News at eleven. Anime is escapism.

I approve.

>TAAF award

>7. "TO BE HERO" - 9,398
You expect me to take this seriously?

To be HERO was fun.
The characters were cool too.

>Personal awards:
>Director: Shinkai
>Original script: Yamada
>Animator: Hiramatsu

Plenty of girls watch things beyond homo anime. For all you know, the same fans that watched YoI might also watch otome anime, or idol anime, or harem anime.

>Unironically linking to crunchyroll

As if we need more proof that fujoshits are the worst posters.

Fujos don't make obvious bait threads.

Because they're secondary characters, dumbass.
