Having lived in korea for quite awhile, i have an opinion. comfort women being kidnapped from colonies en masse, likely bullshit for two reasons. 1) as OP said, whats the military benefit of diverting resources to procuring by force and transporting hookers when you can just rape the locals. 2) ive seen human traffickers in this country cruising up to performing arts high schools in flashy cars and trying to groom hs girls.
