>manual labor, military, trades jobs etc all pay shit or have shitty working conditions >no jobs/good paying jobs for anything fun or interesting >only good paying jobs are boring (business, accounting, etc) or outright autistic (STEM) that normal people don’t actually find enjoyable >have to study something you don’t like to get a job you hate so you can be slightly above starvation wages
Just for the record, we’re all lying when say we’re “passionate” about shit or are “excited” to start a job or shit like that, right?
If it wasn't shit, they wouldn't have to pay people to do it m8
Just buck up and pick a job and stick with it
Cooper Campbell
Or you could start a business
Luis Wilson
>Manual labor, military, trades all pay shit or have shitty working conditions What is $250/day to throw fiber optic cables over walls? >No jobs/ good paying jobs for anything fun Work isn't supposed to be "fun" you faggot >Have to do things you don't like to get paid well Un ironically neck yourself you NEET faggot
Jordan White
Stem is enjoyable when you stop being a socialite and start thinking of saving the world from matrix robots.
Leo Hill
5 years in HVAC and Im making 60$/h working between 35-50 hours a week depending on how much work there. You have no idea what you need to do in a trades job so you assume it is shit.
Aaron Gomez
You should try joining the military; if you don't like it you can just shoot yourself in the fuckin face

There is literally nothing enjoyable about stem to non autistics. I’m sure measuring things in microns and determine the slope of a road is fascinating to you but not to well adjusted members of society.
Jaxson Watson
Name me one point in history where men didn't have to do something they didn't want to to survive.

this is your only chance to get rich
Lucas Miller
What do you really want to do, user? How can you most effectively put yourself out there and produce value doing something you can enjoy (or at least the closest thing to it)? Only you can define this.
It took me 8 years of jobs that I resented/grew to resent until I figured out exactly what I wanted to do. It pays off to figure this out. It all felt so up in the air before. Now the feeling is alien. Good luck.
Jaxon Stewart
Rich people have never had to work. I mean very few people are rich but still it’s an ideal. Strangely enough working hours were steadily declining and only one gender worked until the (((economy))) got into full swing with neoliberalism.
Isaac Thompson
These days you can make money doing all sorts of retarded shit without even leaving your autist cave. Write dumb articles for dumb journo websites, make a clickbait blog, do a shopify dropshopping shop, make youtube videos.
Of course, the real problem is that you are probably an extremely boring person with no interesting skills and nothing to say.
Ryder Martinez
I want to read, exercise, listen to music, travel, eat nice food, camp out, serve in my church, hunt, etc etc etc. There is literally nothing about working that appeals to me.
Jordan Hill
How much do you like to SWEAT, goy?
Justin Smith
So you want to use goods and services others must work (which they don't enjoy) to produce without providing any value to them in return? Good luck with that.
Caleb Fisher
>There is literally nothing about working that appeals to me.
You want all the virtues a of man without having to do anything. Disgusting.
Benjamin Cox
You literally just repeated Karl Marx's main criticism of capitalism. And it's even funnier, considering capitalist cucks on here will attack anything left leaning utilizing the "people don't want to work under communism" meme. In reality, it's quite the other way around Enjoy your suicide rates. And yes, before you chimp out about suicide rates in eastern Europe, slap yourself and realize that it happened due to introduction of free market after collapse of socialism
And yet you retards keep voting for people just like him. Except, especially in the case of Trump, with much worse taste.
Joseph Gray
You goys are going to go crazy when basic income hits
Nicholas Campbell
I think we both know that if you choose not you work you're going to sit around on Sup Forums jacking off all day while collecting welfare checks or good boy points

Nice projection
Desu im surprised that homesteading and off the grid living isn’t even more popular due to this. Or minimalist lifestyles.
Benjamin Ross
And what happens when the economy collapses because fewer and fewer people get jobs? If you have a basic income why should you even work. Hell why should anybody do anything.

So many parents failed at their job of parenting Duty of a parent is to explain to their low-iq kids that work is where you sell your time in return for food and a roof over your head But sounds as if today's kids' parents were too busy trying to regain their youth when they should have been parenting
Jayden Wright

Aristocratic socialites are THE prime parasite to any society. Always they try and install themselves at the top of a pyramid scheme system. Normies are a legit evil in the world and should be eliminated, or enslaved.

Must suck to live in a country overflowing with cheap illegal labour bleeding your pay packet. I make $150k US before overtime in the mines, and my brother earns almost as much doing civil construction, fun interesting cruisey jobs we both enjoy. Feels comfy mate.
Ryder Hall
If you really hate your job you should try to find another well playing job while you're still young. Maybe you might like some trades like welding or something idk, you could also consider starting a business
I personally like STEM, but each to their own. You might like some of the other letters in STEM though, you never know

Literally this. I hate welding & fabricating, but I get doctor dollars minus the workload when the contract is right. Plus the ol' sweat equity.
Eli Stewart
I have heard much about basic income, and it is one of those things that sound like a good idea, however the people that support it are never able to explain how it would be implemented or how it would stack up against real-world human motivations.
Economics should always be practical, never ideological and thus if someone can make a coherent and sensible argument as to why it would work rather than intellectually shitting the bed I'd be willing to entertain the idea.
Thus far however the most substantive argument ive yet seen is "robots will do everything therefore free money" which is not only Labor Theory of Value tier retarded, but based upon the ridiculous, insane, and sadly oft-repeated delusion that half of jobs will be lost to automation in 20 years.
Justin Thompson
Trades are a lot of fun, the problem isn’t the work it’s just a lot of the guys in it are self entitled and like to start shit. That’s the way of life learn to be aggressive and harness your raw male energy. Trades are wicked though and once you learn enough in your respective trade money is great when you own your own business
Colton Ward
There is literally no reason to work 40 hours a week in current year. If not then why don’t we work 72 hrs a week like in 1840?
David Ward
>spend 4 years in uni >can’t get a tech support job because I don’t have two years experience in customer service >can’t get a customer service job because i don’t have experience in customer service >only job I can get is warehouse work but who can’t get warehouse work?
Matthew Barnes
Trades get no respect in society; college girls dump you for laywer or doctor Chad.
David Lopez
I was trained in STEM. I don't mind STEM. I don't think it pays well, though. I ended up getting a job in an investment bank to write models for traders/bankers. It sounds great, but it degenerates into your regular office work with office politics. It doesn't pay well considering the hours and the people you work with.
Pretty much anything you do 9-5 is complete shit. One day they offered people bonus money to voluntarily resign. I took it. I couldn't stand it.
Took that money and started trading. Now I write models for myself, and they trade. To get to the point of the post. I wanted personal time and no office drones around. That I got. However, I work more than I would in an office. The money is good, but most people can't do that. I don't know anyone I started trading with who is still in the business excluding my partner. I still can't get up and leave for a week, because systems need maintenance. And you also have the stress. When everything is working it's great. But for every dollar you lose you feel as unhappy as you need $3 win to make you equivalently happy. Plus human mind extrapolates. So if you lose money for a month or two its depressing as shit. I had a strategy losing globs of money literally every day for 6 months. You feel suicidal. But you have to stick with statistics. Happiness is still elusive. I think you should just find something that you like and capitalize on it. You will probably still be miserable no matter what. Such is life.
Chase Gonzalez
Communism is inevitable
Lucas Phillips
Yes, rent/profit accrued from ownership is paracitism. If you get money just because you own something and not because youre working you are a parasitic jew. Its ltterally just welfare for the rich. And the worst part is that all these idiots will work their hearts out and never make in a lifetime what fat cat jews who sit on their asses doing nothing will make in a single day. Its a sick system.
Josiah Edwards
>if someone can make a coherent and sensible argument as to why it would work rather than intellectually shitting the bed >"herp basic income is viable because I dont want to work"

Jaxon Taylor
Yea trades guys are not really that smart and a lot of them have mental/emotional IQ deficiencies.

Why arent you working 72 hours a week? You obviously believe the economy still needs everyone working at least 40 hours a week to provide bare necessities
Wyatt Martin
I have never once said I was passionate about my job. I do it purely for the money and how its not overly hard to do.
Zachary Parker

Grayson Bennett
If you're willing to follow the advice of a 62 year old fart, listen up.
Go private sector. You'd be amazed at all the bank people make by joining a private sector.
Was part of a Union back in Tennessee, worked for a chemical company in Copperhill. Went on strike that wasn't going anywhere. A buddy of mine said the private sector was hiring and wanted chemists, engineers, or anyone with any real experience.
Got my Grandfather in on the action and we never looked back. Been working in the private sector since.
John Diaz
Sounds like a great life mane. If only rent jew didnt have you by the balls you would be fine. Church would network all you needed, could trade extra meat from hunting for produce etc. dont listen to them i dont think writers hate writing or they would not be writing, a lot of chefs have to be in love with food at the moment to make good food cause the pay and conditions suck.
Kayden Perry
It’s almost like technology and capitalism can provide basic living means for all with little cost and time, but dependency on infinite growth turns the system into a ponzi scheme getting people to buy shit they don’t need to keep the system going
>leasing a new BMW every 3 years >new phones every year >designer clothing
>hurr people bought stuff in the past!!1
In the past people were malnourished and had 3 sets of clothing. Today the system is built on convincing them not to buy cheap, basic staples and buy over priced shit instead.
Adrian Bailey
You tellin me writers dont like writing, artists dont like making art and nature does t enjoy making beautiful places to be? Chefs dont love cooking at the moment? Fuck off
Jacob Bailey
Implying normies wont do ""boring" jobs so they have to lure people giving them higheer payment just to make some people to do it.
