Good Night, sweet prince

Good Night, sweet prince.

Good premise but the boring art and unexciting supporting cast killed it.

Hope the author didn't commit sudoku. His comment on the last JUMP author's section was pretty depressing.

Poor guy, he deserved better.

> Atletico de Madrid

Why

>back to only having 1 manly man MC in WSJ
Good night.

That was fast.

anyone got a link for the last chapter raws

Fuck Japan and elevens

it's shit, and you're shit for liking it.

...

wait wut did i miss a soccer manga with good art. what is this? what happend? tell meeee

The mangaka has talent but his compositions suck.

What is supposed to be an exciting moment for the MC is depicted very poorly. Without any context, it looks like the MC made a mistake. In other series such a moment would be clearly shown as a moment of triumph/euphoria/joy/awe.

pic related

Too bad, I've only read the first few chapters and was liking it, the MC kinda reminded me of Sakuragi

Compare that moment to this image and you can tell what is lacking.

I don't want to shit all over the author but this soccer manga was below par. Not surprised it got cancelled. I hope they come back with a much better manga.

He got a golazo

it was kind of a crappy, fluky goal

it's supposed to be like that

>patetico de madrid
Deserved axe

...

it's not fair

Kek. But seriously, just how many chapter this get? Man this is fast

Pretty depressing if you consider this was probably a manga idea he'd had in his mind for a long time. Something he'd always wanted to draw.

Imagine drawing the chapter knowing it's gonna be the last.

>that hand position
It's making my wrist feel uncomfortable.

12, I think

Jump is really ax-happy nowadays because they've lost so many long-running hit series, so they're desperate to get replacements. Anything that doesn't pick up steam fast is getting canned within 12 or 20 chaps.

12 chapters

I get that it was a crappy fluke of a goal. My problem is that his expression doesn't convey that. To me it looks like he's thinking "Oh no, what have I done?", not "Did I really score?"

I wasn't criticizing the plot points. I was criticizing the art.

I kind of agree with this since desu Golazo didn't have the best art

Although I did enjoy some of the numerous spreads and some of the paneling in the series

Based Banba plays for atletico

It was his first manga ever.

Read any first work, 95% of them will NOT have perfect art, either characters will go off model or maybe they won't emote like they should, the panels could not be perfect either .

Mangaka usually get used to the series after a year and they begin to really improve their art after 2. Of course there are cases where the art goes down eventually if they get serialized for 10 years ever week but yeah

Man I had hope for this.

That's true but I still stand by the fact that out of the rookies, the Golazo artist had the best sense of how to panel which is partly the reason why I wish he had the chance to continue so he could improve his art

What's the comment?

Compare the first 3-4 chapters to the latter ones.
Seems like he knew Ole Golazo was ranking below to shit and stopped trying.

I hope he gets a chance to do another series at some point. Didn't Hori get canned twice before BNHA?

I want to hug him and tell him it'll be okay. He sounds depressed as hell.

Fuck me that's pretty sad.
I hope he takes the time to work on his writing or find a magazine that does his style better, he has good female characters too and I'd hate for that talent to go to waste

I won't be surprised if he eventually makes another football manga sometime in the future given how much of a die hard fan he seemed to be

>Atletico Madrid
Poor Banba

>Didn't Hori get canned twice before BNHA?
Yeah. So did the authors of Haikyuu, Nisekoi(kek) and Black Clover.

I hope the author never gives up.

>Banba is forever destined to reach Champions League finals just to be refballed in the 128402 extra time minutes against Real Madrid

>Banba scores a golazo but it gets annulled because dangerous play

I hope his experience with JUMP didn't kill his enthusiasm. I'm not a soccer fan in the slightest but his passion for the sport was infectious. Try again, man! Even if he doesn't get published in JUMP again, just having gotten his foot in the door there will open up a lot of opportunities (I hope).

>manly man

Do any other WSJ protagonists even come close?

>at the very least,he's not european
Rude

>Gorila's

Goddammit you fatfuck.

Volume 1 in April, volume 2 in May what the fuck?

At least it says to look forward to his next work.

I wasn't even aware Sesuji wo Pin ended.
That's a heartbreaker.

I think the scans stopped because the scanlators are still bummed out that it ended
