Hyouka

So when is the author going to stop being lazy and make more books?

And when will KyoAni adapt the latest novel into a film. It would work perfectly as one

If you have to ask, then the answer is never.

hyouka and la la land nice

>So when is the author going to stop being lazy and make more books?
Never ever

>It would work perfectly as one
>ends in a cliffhanger
>perfect
Just, no.

They could adapt the standalone side-stories as series of OVAs but definitely not the main story where it ends on a bigger blue-balling scene than S1.

That image made my day.

Imagining any of these retards dancing gave me a honest giggle.

Kyoani isn't a brand slave anymore. They don't need to adapt shitty Kadokawa sources, so they can concentrate on their own masterpieces, like Kyoukai no Kanata and Phantom World.

you just wanted to post that picture huh

They should adapt more Kadokawa masterpieces, like Amagi Brilliant Park.

Cut him some slack, writing full novels about nothing is hard work

I liked Hyouka and this made me laugh.

>yfw Hyouka loses to this

This picture melted me.

I love Hyouka. I love Chitanda and Oreki, they're so cute together.
I'd wish I could watch it for the first time again. That won't happen.

Does the pic mean that Chitanda is going to leave Oreki for rich dick in a flashfoward, while Oreki will end up sitting sadly in a classroom and solve crossword puzzles for anyone who wants to hear?

>Oreki having any hope of winning the Chitanda bowl

Yes, it does mean that.

Oscar is a joke

They probably don't even remember Hyouka at Kyoani anymore. They're only into bright colors, gay shit and sex appeal now.

Volume 6 has been confirmed since May 2016.
animenewsnetwork.com/news/2016-05-16/hyouka-anime-original-novel-series-adds-new-volume/.102156

It's a short story collection like Volume 4, and includes the following stories:
>"Renpō wa Hareteiru ka?"
>"Kagami ni wa Utsuranai"
>"Nagai Kyūjitsu"
>"Ima Sara Tsubasa o Iwaretemo"

Also take note that Honobu Yonezawa is working on multiple novel series, including Sayonara Yousei.

And after a quick dig on Twitter, Volume 6 has been released under the title, "Ima Sara Tsubasa wo Iwaretemo".

It was released on November 2016.

Didn't he release one recently last November? Has it been translated yet?

Oreki is canonically Takemoto's husbando.
If anything, he'd gladly do Hyouka again. It was something he wanted to do in the first place.

Fuck your thread. More pics like OP please.

how many volumes did they adapt?

Four volumes. Volume 4 is in itself a short story collection. However, it shares the same plot relevance as Volume 6. In fact, The title of the sixth volume is also the title of a plot-heavy short story. I do not know if this is the short story where Eru is basically disinherited.

4 volumes + 1 story that now is collected in Volume 6 (the one with the teacher and the helicopters). The only anime original story is the OVA

Thanks for posting this image user

>Eru basically disinherited

Bait.

At first I thought her hand was in his pocket then I thought it was just plain unfinished before realizing I'm an idiot

Spoiler that shit fucker.

I haven't even read the entire short story. Just working on what I heard from the Hyouka threads of the past.
I'm currently making a summary for the only translated story as we speak.

they should adapt Ima Sara Tsubasa wo Iwaretemo as a movie
it's disappearance of Chitanda Eru

Shit, I knew that the story is bitter as said in the Publisher's Summary, but this is just FUCK AAAAAAAAA

Ok, Eru isn't actually disinherited, but she is no longer the heir in any case. No force involved, but you gotta understand her plight. It's like you're groomed to have the same job or career as your parents, but suddenly they say "for a change, you should decide for yourself".

Saved.

What about it?

I can see the author going down the romance route to please the brain dead morons who need a romance to spout all the time and rinse it 24/7.

Any more Hyouka has the potential to ruin the brilliance of the series whcih is unacceptable.
