The principal question is - who is the best Shirobako?

the principal question is - who is the best Shirobako?

Yano is best girl.

Diesel

I miss Shirobako.

Not only is it a good story, but it also is highly informative.

Anyone who doesn't say Diesel is a baka.

Diesel. Young, and not disillusioned by the bs that is working life.

This is a pretty screenshot.

Goth lolis suck

suck what?

I remember when Shirobako was wrapping up and people were being cheerleaders over Charlotte as the next big PA works show.
And look at the hot fucking garbage that ended up being.

No thanks. I'm not getting my hopes up just because they're using a deliberately similar art style. All that says to me is they're phoning in a half-assed drama while trying to ride on the coat-tails of one of the a recent success.

By this point, we know the what we are getting in an original PA Works anime

They have done the SOL long 26 episode format 3 times now in Shiraboko, Hanasaku, and (maybe if you caount it) Fish People anime. If we exclude Fish People, then we have gotten two long format shows that were positively received pretty well. Sakura Quest fits that type of show, so I think it's natural to belive it will be good.

Charlotte, Glass Slip, Angel Beats, have been original shows that were 12 episodes long and with some gimmick. They seem to fail hard trying to do that because the story never matches up with their ambitions.

Hanasaku Iroha is always rated much higher than it deserves. It was very typical Okada where her inability to write convincing characters makes every piece of drama and character development stiff, artificial and meaningless. It just had the good fortune of coming out at a time when there wasn't much decent competition for teenage girl coming-of-age romance drama that didn't also include magical action combat or frilly costumes. The praise is undeserved

Every time I see an anime cat, I think of her.
Ganbare, Ema. Don't let anybody break those dreams or fingers

Charlotte and Angel Beats are Jun Maeda shows before anything else. They're not comparable to the other PA Works originals.

Shirobako did a better job of portraying struggling seiyuu angst than Girlish Number

Nabe P best boi.
Aoi was best girl.

I love Ai!

Worst girl.

No bullying

...

Yes but Girlish Number had the girl that was superior to all girls in Shirobako.

>can't draw for shit?
>become a gothloli

Shirobako sure is the formative anime for budding young artists
