Are visuals the most important thing in anime?

Are visuals the most important thing in anime?

Not to me. I'm blind.

They are pretty important. I rarely keep up with anime that aren't visually pleasing.

Being good and interesting is the most important thing in anime. How you achieve that isn't as important.

>雪姫忍法帖だってばよ
It's fucking Naruto. And I was expecting something that I've never heard of as it looked great.

No,i often stop watching series that look great, but don't have anything else going for it.

Maid dragon is an example.

You don't need to samefag like that.

>naruto
>not great

>hotblooded teenager doing x for 5000 episodes
No thanks.

>naruto
>best choreographied fights in anime
>best kinography in anime
>best visual direction in anime
>best OP in anime overall
Can't make that shit up, how's a shonen winning all prizes again?

This looks hella fucking ugly and dull. Seriously.

How is it ugly?

>this narutard literally making these threads every day and samefagging
Get a trip already.

He only watches his precious Nurut anyway.

No. While nice visuals are nice I usually much prefer good characters and originality over it.

For example Kemono Friends is a nice watch and it's visuals are crap.

One day mods will finally ban this little piece of shit. One can dream.

All we need is the KyoAni webm guy and we can repeat the same cycle that happens in every single one of these threads.

I don't know how you guys can keep doing this, every thread is the same right down to the images, it's literally no different from any other shitty template thread.

Why would the mods try to ban someone who's trying to have some actual intellectual discussion about visuals in anime?

How is it even good?

It looks pretty

FLCL is a living testament that anime can be amazing while having a ton of lazy animation.
There are shows that have good animation intentionally, But others that don't.
