are there legitimate concerns about it besides "ebul drumpf orange nazi" created it? Would they be hailing its success had the democrats passed the exact same bill?
They're pissed off because they know he'll win reelection now. Reagan had a landslide after he cut taxes
Owen Stewart
Liberals are gay.
Benjamin Phillips
Because it takes away from their spending plans. It's real 4D chess.
No one wants taxation to increase. Dems kill themselves on this kind of reform. It also undid part of the ACA. This bill is legitimately awesome. It's not PERFECT but it's a very good first step in peeling back their bullshit.
Elijah Wilson
Are you retarded? It's a massive tax cut for the rich. The poor get pennies now and pay more in 10 years while people making over 500k a year get a permanent cut higher than the average yearly salary, on top of the private jet bonus, golf course bonus and mortgage bonus. It's a disaster for anyone but the rich. This plan could've been made by Jesus himself and it would still blasted by anyone with 2 working braincells.
Camden Richardson
this alone makes me think it's going to be a good thing overall
When I was a kid literally every adult I knew (blue state) complained about taxes and frequently said they wished for tax breaks.
What happened?
Easton Morris
can i see the sources and write ups you are basing this claim off of?
Aiden Price
Less tax=less government spending. Some people think less government spending is bad.
Landon Foster
How come the rich are the only ones complaining about it?
Benjamin Flores

Ian Hernandez
The source is the plan. Fucking read it maybe? They don't even deny it, all they claim is that rich people getting richer will trickle down. An economic model debunked in the 80s already.
Connor Martin
Because you fall for it dumbass. >Boy I sure hate this plan, it's not good for me I tell you
Charles Perez
"Debunked" By one of the greatest 20 year spans of growth and development in all sectors, ever. Oh. Okay.
Dylan Gomez
The corporate tax rate will be a lot lower, which is fine, but there are still tons of loop holes and complicated filing procedures for pass through businesses. Manufacturing businesses are generally hit a little harder than some pass throughs like real estate and accounting firms which is bullshit. The lower middle class family in a low property tax state will walk away with a couple thousand extra in cash - but that will expire if the cut doesn't become revenue neutral, which it absolutely will not.
Then, once the cuts have expired automatically, GOP will turn around and say "Whelp, looks like we can't afford this, better slash social security and medicare all to shit", while conveniently ignoring the fact that they were the ones who planned this all along. Personally I think that's bullshit, but if you're a minigov / libertarian wing nut then I guess you'd just call that good strategy. Amazing that it works on these rural retards so consistently though.
TL;DR Big companies like Goldman, Disney, Verizon etc that are already incredibly profitable are going to save billions and billions of dollars, personal tax cuts will expire and then they'll cut the social safety net.
Kevin Jenkins
Out of curiosity, why wouldn't cutting tax on the rich be a good thing, aquafresh?
Dominic Stewart
BECAUSE OF THE DEBT
If you understand economics you know that tax cuts and government spending are what stimulates an economy and that the economy goes through natural boom and bust cycles due to the nature of finance. When the economy is in a recession like it was when Obama took office, you cut taxes and increase government spending which increases government debt. When the economy is booming like it is right now, you raise taxes and pay down that debt. Doing a massive tax cut that mostly goes to the already wealthy at the height of a boom is just pants on head retarded for so many reasons. There's a good reason why every single economist who's not a corporate shill hates this bill.
Leo Phillips
this is planned shit from the obdongo days. He reduced the absolute fuckshit out of the taxes that hobos who bring in 5 dollars a month must pay. Trump is simply bringing in line a more uniform tax. This chart is strategically manipulated to make it look like taxes are being increased on "poor" people: but who are these "poor" people? literally just people who don't even have an income. Did you read the bottom? The red bars are figments of democrat imagination, they will never actually appear in real life
Also, liberals continue to misunderstand taxes for rich people. Do you really think that the top 0.1% of earners in america get a fucking PAYCHECK? Are you that retarded? They acquire their money from the corporations that they own, their income is directly tied to corporate tax rates, not income tax rates. Maybe if you ever graduated up from burger flipper you would understand these concepts.
Jose Stewart
>global rules
kek, this is what the EU actually believes
Andrew Moore
Because they don't need the money, duh. You wanna boost economy at a lower cost? How about not having people work 60 hours just to keep a roof over their heads. Every penny they get extra, they spend. A millionaire doesn't give a shit about 5k more or less, what he's gonna do, buy another massive flatscreen? No.
Elijah Davis
Cutting Medicaid and social security is potentially the only way to save western civilization. No joke. Both systems as they exist are a mistake that puts old against young. You are immediately born in millions of dollars of debt to pay for the fuck ups and old wind bags you don't know who probably are simultaneously mizering you for rent money.
Camden King
There's diminishing returns on extreme wealth - past the point where you're buying a second summer home and yacht, it's unlikely that you're actually putting as much value in to the economy as you're taking out. The very very wealthy should be prevented from accumulating power through massive stockpiles of wealth - if not directly then through a reasonably progressive tax system.
Someone making 20,000 a year will use 300 extra dollars to eat and pay off debt. Someone earning 20,000,000 a year will use an extra 300,000 by putting more money into their private wealth account, or maybe by buying a timeshare for a winter ski house or some other ridiculous shit.
I dunno... maybe a well constructed luxury consumption tax would fix this shit but that people can't grasp the marginal return on wealth problem blows my fucking mind.
Blake Smith
>lowest fith, so poor it can't pay taxes >assume that they will bear an equal burden of some fantasy offset cost, so there is a big, fat red line that shows how DRUMPF!!11 screwed over the poor

This is fucking retarded.
Michael Kelly
And corporate tax rates are down in this plan, so how does that change the fact that they get a massive tax cut?

Rich people in California and New York are getting blown the fuck out.
Soon divorced men will be blown the fuck out when they can no longer deduct their alimony payments.
Trump takes out all of his enemies, not just the individual ones. He's a madman. Pure chaos. Couldn't be happier.
Luke Miller
I don't know, it sounds better than working 29 hours a week like your national average, and yet be taxed like a madman so lowlife leechees and immigrants get tons of free stuff from you.
Cameron Campbell
I would understand if you would tell the young that all this stuff is done and you have to give your money to Goldman Sachs to have your health secured (until they screw you with a loophole). But those who are already 50 or 60 had no time to prepare or to build up a health fund. System changes take generations. Or a lots of body bags.
Because no one is investing into our shitty infrastructure. The boomers always invested into themselves by voting for GOP leaders and it shows. I kind of want them to cut social security and kill the boomers off already. Handed everything and ruined our great nation fucking hippie scumbags.
Camden Lewis
Oh so now the debt matters. Funny how we only hear about muh debt when republicans are in charge. Go fuck your self kike.
Benjamin Carter
What's equal burden about 80% of the population paying more taxes in 10 years with this plan, while the top 20% get a cut of 15k upwards? Not even mentioning the enormous debt increase this creates.
Sebastian Richardson
None of you fags have anything to say about this?
Michael Wood
Reminds me of the YouTube videos where an interviewer asks people on the street what they think of "democrat" plans, then at the end of the video he tells them all those things are Trump ideas.

funny how they never mention the deficit, Republicans are such tards
100 years of objective economic data show the dems outperform the repubs consistently, on deficit and GDP and growth, yet the repubs keep pretending they are the economic experts
it is truly amazing
the only thing they are good at is making the rich richer and blowing up the deficit in order to cut social security and medicare

The dems had their days, but they completely went full on corrupt (or Bernie crazy) and became unelectable (if the other guy isn't a criminal or pig or both).
This bill is a heist long in planning and I like them for it. In no country on earth, besides in gas barrel dropping Russian backlots, one side constantly sells lies - and gets trough with it.
I was appealed by Trumpino the first. Now I want to know what he can do next. Its like a slow motion train crash you can not look away from.
Easton Richardson
>50 or 60 >no time to save for the future
I can't even
Okay, here's the deal thougg because you're not actually a retard. Ideally you declare "as of this birth year, you will no longer receive benefits at retirement age. You will receive reduced Medicaid coverage. You will still pay into the syst3ms. After this birth age, no one will pay in. People are on their own. Those caught in the middle will have to plan on their own but will also receive a little something. This is the only feasible plan. We cannot continue to leverage fiat promises unibersally against the future populations of our countries."

Then once the coffers for the programs are empty. They're empty. That's it. Done. We move on.
We come up with new systems or we ball up and tell people they're responsible for themselves again.

They can do less work for more now.
Ian Williams
And I am saying this as one of the age bracket that would definitely be paying in and not getting Jack squat back.
Look, I know this seems insane or crazy. The fact of the matter is we need to fucking come to grips with how out of control these programs are. They need to be addressed. We can't keep kicking the fucking bucket down the road forever.

You are assuming that "expensive coverage for all your illnesses paid by the gov" and "now you have to pay into this private plan that can't really fix all of your things because the system is rotten, super expensive and corrupt" will not work.

This. It only works with increasing population which isn't sustainable and why we get immigration pushed on western countries.
Besides if you invest $ 100 a month into a good fund you can retire with a million bucks. Most people put a few hundred into their fund a month if they work full time. That's what you have your 401k shit for no?

They’re mad because the people who pay the most taxes are getting the most in tax cuts.

I'm it even encouraging insurance plans necessarily, but so be it. Look, im 30. By estinations released by Canadian govt on "average income tax towards healthcare" per year, since I've worked since 14, I've spent around 140k on healthcare myself. I have NOT NEEDED to utilized any if this. Does 30k sound impossible to pay for -one time- when over 16 years id have personally pocketed that 4 times over? Even if the tax rate otherwise was still the same and my spending was the same?
The programs are a joke. Period.

Matthew Reyes
Exactly Ausbro.
I don't get why this is even controversial. It's THE single reason for forced diversity and the creation of underclasses. People think it's to serve the rich? It's to serve our entitlement programs that cannot be funded.

>metro AT$T This isn't communism, companies can lay off employees if they want.

I'm ok with a fix, because this IS raising to insane levels. But there must be fixes in the system itself. I read about employers in the US who let their workers pay in a pool and they have to shop around for treatments. Which they never did before. What happens then is, that people realize that getting a shot can cost from 50 to 250, depending where they live and if they like the doctor much. Since the insurance pays everything, they never cared.
The system must be changed, but there are multiple angles to do so. Or it will run quickly into quicksand of lots of regulations and 1000s of lawsuits.
Joshua Jenkins
What an unbiased article :^)
Zachary Cooper
Because history has shown after tax reform the President gets a true approval spike and it can better his chances for re election. They didn't want this to happen before mid terms, bc it likely fucked the ((blue wave)) narrative. MAGA

The basic liberal counterargument is that the plan helps out the top 10/1/.1% way more than it helps out the average American (or even up to the 80th percentile of earners)
Basically, this
Luke Nelson
And that once the cuts run out in 2027, tax increases could be the result. But they are obviously going to be extended in the future.
Ayden Reed
The system is the inherent problem. Changing it won't stop inflation. It has to replaced entirely with a new concept.
Responsibility.
Sure, if people want to pool money together as a community or as a workplace to pay for certain things that's great. That's a CHOICE they can make on their own. It would be even more viable if you didn't have to fork money out for mandatory programs you don't utilize.
Colton Garcia
Low corporate taxes are a good thing for the economy.
James Hughes
That said. I'm sure it doesn't take long for these kinds of programs to make people realize "You know... We don't really tap into this all that often. Maybe if I just saved some money on my own...."
Ian Nelson
Because the tax plan was made under certain retard rules that don't allow for more than 10 years of tax cuts. It will get extended.
Eli Sanders
Liberals don't want everyone to save money. Liberals want government to have as much of the money as possible, because government is the best arbiter of things. You do realize it wasn't that long ago that liberals all admired the Soviet Union and wanted to bring central planning here, right?
Connor Phillips
They are too young.
Nathaniel Gonzalez
Sovereign debt doesn't mean a goddamn thing. We don't really have to repay it.

Holy fuckin shitballs, James Woods is such a savage. Also, nice dubba dubbz.

My liberal concerns:
1.The estate tax The estate tax is a mathematical necessity for maintaining a free society. The Estate Tax WAS a tax imposed on estates and assets worth over 5 million dollars in which the amount over that 5 million bracket was taxed at about 35%. This tax exists for a very good reason: a billion dollars is a lot of money and at 10% returns, your money doubles every 7 years. This tax exists because eventually, the entire GDP can wind up going to interest payments towards an aristocratic class because their great great grandpa owned a railroad company, something I think the Jew conspirators would be sympathetic towards.
2. This makes graduate work count as taxable income. Grad students are famous for not getting paid anything for their work, but at least the government doesn’t charge them for it. This might sound like a liberal thing, but it really does affect aspiring students of all stripes, business people go to college too. This removes a huge incentive to go to college, and forces people to work jobs that don’t necessarily have anything to do with their degree. Not the right people who should be taxed more (Some business majors calculated their taxes will go up potentially 300%)
3. Income inequality is already at all time highs, and this bill has many other potential negative effects. Most economists agree that this bill will increase inflation, causing the fed to raise interest rates which will in turn make it harder to get a loan to start a business or buy a house. Nobody likes inflation
Luis Brooks
1. Lets tax property that has already been taxed. We didn't steal enough the first time.
2. No comment.
3. *points to a liberal shill source* "most economists" "most scientists" "most blah blah" Bullshit.
Elijah Reyes
>Grad students are famous for not getting paid anything for their work, but at least the government doesn’t charge them for it. Doesn't charge them for what exactly? Coming from an engineering major, almost all my friends that have doen grad work so far have always been paid, either compensation by the school or by the contractor they are working under. In my area, a good portion of grads worked for/at the local AF base
>3. I can agree, but what was the FED's reasoning to increasing the interest rate to 2%? My assumption for a few months was to counter subprime auto loans.
Charles Jones
Only poor people are allowed to save money, rich people need to take a 99% tax rate. >inside the liberal mind
Landon Walker
...
Blake Garcia
Yeah, whatever your "mathematics" say, the amount raised from estate tax was minuscule, the real issue is that it is wrong to rob the dead. It is also wrong to rob the living.
Christian Martin
I didn’t mean “not get paid” literally, they just don’t make a lot of money compared to the value of the work that they are contributing and I was treating taxes as the government charging you for doing something.
The Fed had low rates due to the recession and they wanted to encourage people to invest in various ways. They are always looking for a sweet spot to manage the value of the dollar. A lot of money is about to get lost on junk vehicles, so they are probably trying to end those generous loans and also encourage people to save their money while the economy is good. I don’t know the exact reason, but I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re right
Jackson Carter
35% of a billion is 350 million, which is a lot of money. If you get a tax-free 5 million and can’t do anything with it, you don’t deserve 5 million, is t that how the free market works?
Noah Foster
>The estate tax is a mathematical necessity for maintaining a free society. I cant tell if you are an idiot or a socialist here, kudos for that. I bet you feel a little guilty for typing out the word jew. But back to my point. Your argument is shit. First off, federal banks are not required to take deposits, that would be communism. Second, no band needs to pay interest.Third, if the govt cannot pay its obligations it doesnt matter if it cannot pay a billion people or just one...
Alexander Murphy
People who only pay a couple hundred in taxes can only get a couple hundred bacon people who pay hundreds of thousands get thousands back. Not a problem.
Samuel Morris
Because this is going to increase the deficit and the national debt is going to balloon.
John Williams
Banks don’t have infinite money, they exchange money between each other on a day-by-day baises that has an interest rate that is controlled by the fed through various economic maneuvers. Ideally, from their perspective, it gets passed on to you from there
